You really can't pick a bad environment in Star Wars. They're all fantastic for their own reasons & have so much to love. Even the asteroid field. I'm even more amazed though with your haul this time around. So many great pickups! And yeah, that Wampa... 😎. So bright!!!
Rock On Joey!!! 🤘🤩 This is my favorite video of yours to date! Outstanding, my friend. Fantastic breakdown of the Original StarWars environments and toys. I loved your parachute Hoth Luke story. So glad you found a clean new Luke with a beautiful boxed Wampa. I love that creature, my all time vintage favorite! I patiently hunted until I found a really good one last year. Gotta love how with one paw he can drag a figure and even hold one up in the air by their foot. Two Thumbs Up on this 5 Star video! 🤓👍👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dude thank you for the kind words, Steve-O! And yes I was super stoked to finally get this wampa in my collection as well as find a nice boxed set. This run has def been fun and educational for me :). Thank you for always supporting the channel and taking the time to watch and comment. Its always an honor to read what you have to say,
Haha Romy a Joz make a new appearance soon with an all new show!! Lol. I had to flip those around as that desert planet held too many toys and figures under its belt, but Hoth has my favorites for sure. Thanks for watching Bothan!!!
My favourite environments are: Tatooine, Hoth ... and ... open space. For the bridge of the Executor - for the six bounty hunter figures - for Boba Fett and Bossk. Never owned a Wampa, but did see one in a Toy -Town store in 1983 - along with a Tauntaun (open belly feature). I chose to take home the Tauntaun. I was also surprised by how small the Wampa box and figure looked in your hands. When I first saw it all those years ago, as a child, it looked BIG. Congrats on your latest haul.
Hi Cyrus! I WAS DEF SURPRISED how small the wampa box is! And I would love to get the Executor playset in the future, I think that would be a fun one to have with a deathstar playset :). Thank you for watching my friend and taking the time to comment. I always enjoy reading what your thoughts are on the videos.
Hi Joey, what a fantastic episode! Such a lot packed into this one. It was great to see all the amazing play sets produced by Kenner and Palitoy. I think you did extremely well with the Wampa and Luke figures! They are really lovely original examples which is whats its all about. Regards Gary 🙂
Thanks Gary!!! There are so many fantastic items that I’ve been discovering really for the first time on this run, and seeing so many collectors enjoying reuniting with these items that it’s super fun to include them in the videos :). Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, and yes I’m really thrilled with the items I picked up for this episode :).
Thanks Jorge! I was super stoked to be able to add this to the collection! Thanks for taking the time to watching and comment on your thoughts, its always an honor to read them.
Awesome Joey! Loved the video. Think I’m going to agree with u on hoth. Such cool toys . I also love the figures from Jabbas palace. Cool pick ups . Lovely white Wampa. Keep it up dude. 🤘
Thanks XDD! It was definitely hard to pick a number one spot even with endor! So many cool stories, memories, and toys from all the environments really. It’s hard making these lists lol.
Joey, nice nostalgia trip on this one, Wampa, Attack Base, and my personal favourite, the Snowspeeder. Love the Hoth Luke, another firm favourite. I've been slacking on the vids of late, so I'm going to blast through a few this week...hopefully 😂
Loving your channel. I would have to say Hoth is my favorite environment. My favorite toys in the line came from Hoth. Endor and Tatooine would be 2 and 3 on my list.
Thanks for watching the channel and enjoying the content Salvatore!!! That’s a strong top 3! So many great toys came from those! I hope all is well my friend and thanks for commenting :)
As you saw, it was hard to pick a favorite! Thanks Darth! I can’t wait to get my dewback one day and have that in my collection! Looking for a nice boxed one at the moment :). Thank you for watching my friend! MTFBWY!
I really like watching your star wars info. You are more positive and uplifting than that "Retro-Blasting" show. That retroblasting guy seems very mean and grumpy. You bring the excitement in the star wars toys and seeing that I want to continue collect star wars!
Thanks Eddie!!! I think we each have our own style and I will binge watch anything that talks about vintage Star Wars!! Lol!!! I’m very honored that you are liking the content and that you are going to get into your own vintage collecting journey!!! That’s awesome!!! And thank you for watching!!! MTFBWY!!
Great episode! Agree with you on Hoth and I LOVED Jedi Luke as a kid but my second fave Luke was Hoth too. That is an unreal Wampa! I've got 2 loose and both are yellowing slightly. BTW that boxed Rancor i saw - amazing! I checked recently on prices and I bought a perfect loose one on ebay in 2010 for £7.37 (including postage) and they now sell for around £70 here in the UK 😳 Jeez!! Keep up the good work Joey, happy hunting and amazing video edits as usual! 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Kev! Wow the price for the rancors back then!!! It getting fun trying to get all the boxed items, well, at least the ones from my list, at least. There are ones that I will try to get after the run, like perhaps a slave 1 or an at-st. But yes, the Hoth ones have a place in my heart :). Thank you for watching my friend and I hope all is well!
Thank you Marco! Im really honored you are enjoying them, that means a lot to me for you to say that :). Thank you fore taking the time to watch and comment on THIS video!!
Great video Iam a fan of endor always loved the Ewoks congratulations on the Wampa. I am happy for you I can’t wait to get mine that I won through John’s auction 👍
The Micro Collection made sweet playsets! I wanted those so badly as a kid! Ones big enough for the 3" figures would have been incredible. You have a great point with Endor (or the Moon of Endor). So many cool figures, playsets, mini rigs, etc. Love the Ewoks and the Speederbikes. Those speederbikes were the best vehicles for carrying around. Their only downfall were the break flaps, but I figured out finally how to avoid popping them off by only snapping them to the hinge but not to the arm that makes it move when you pick the bike up. My favorite though is Bespin/Cloud City because of how beautiful it is. It also has my favorite light saber duel of all time and the cool labyrinth/dungeon that Luke follows Darth Vader through during the fight. Hoth comes in second for having the AT-AT, 21B, FX7, Snowspeeders, INT-4 (another fantastic looking, small ship for flying around), Wampa, Taun Taun etc. So much cool stuff! As a locale, it's not as awesome looking as Bespin though. The trees on Endor are pretty cool too for being so gigantic, though. Tatooine does have some cool toys too. I have the Dewback and the Sandspeeder. Then, there's one of my all-time favorite creatures - the Jawa there. When you think about it, there's cool stuff from almost every locale, so it's not easy to rank them based on that. I'd say Alderaan might be at the bottom though. It is in a really dramatic scene when it blows up, but that's it. I guess you could say the asteroid field is also sort of Alderaan since it's debris might be part of it after the explosion. :) I do love the asteroid scene so much. I love my Retro Collection Boba Fett! These Retro Collection and Vintage Collection figures may be the only figures that I ever keep mint in box. Some people don't like them, but for a lot of collectors, these represent a budget friendly way to have that MOC look. Super cool Wampa there! My wife knows I'd love to have one, but when she saw how much they were, she got me a cool stuffed animal version for Christmas instead. It's awesome because it makes Wampa roar sound effects and it's from her, so that makes it special.
Awwww your wife sounds like she is the coolest person on earth! You found a definite soul mate!!!! Yea they are a little pricey to try and get boxed, and hopefully there are deals out there waiting to be found. Thank you for taking the time to watch and especially taking the time to comment! I really enjoy reading your thoughts on everything! It means a lot to me :).
@@thepadawancollectorofficial You bet! I enjoy watching them. My wife is my soul mate for sure. I'm very glad that I screwed up the nerve to call her after one of my coworkers gave me her number for a blind date. That was 18 years ago now.
Another good video! It's a pity they never did a proper bespin playset, just the Canadian cardboard thing. I was never a big fan of of the backdrop playsets, although I do have a boxed land of the jawas. Mine is the kenner version, as I actively boycotted the palitoy version as I knew it should have come with an escape pod! I felt we were getting short changed here in the UK, especially when I saw a photo of the kenner death star in starlog magazine, and we had to make do with a cardboard one! Ah, the short sightedness of youth... Still got mine, though and it's complete and in good condition! Keep up the good work Joey! Looking forward to the next installment!
Hi David! I would love to pick up both the Palitoy AND the Kenner Death Star Playsets one day. I think those are the most iconic of all the vintage SW playsets :). Thanks for being a part of the journey David and for watching and taking the time to comment. I always enjoy reading what you have to say. I hope all is well my friend!
Hi Daniel! Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment :). Yes I have my eye on getting a turret and probot playset at the moment. I had that when I was a kid and I was only going to get the probot, but I decided to try and get the whole playset. If any good deals come my way, I will snag it, for sure :)
My childhood horror story , is my farm boy luke with telescoping light saber is buried in my backyard somewhere in houston, of course plying in back yard and buried some figures, but could never find my Luke. ye ha
What is this!? Some kind of show and tell channel ? Get ahold of yourself man! You’re collecting at a rocket ship pace and will have to upgrade all this from what I’ve seen
Hey Jerry! Thanks for watching and your feedback. That’s awesome advice for anyone. I have been collecting these for 6 months but am releasing the videos bi-weekly so it seems like a rush, for sure. But it’s fun and I’m learning a lot! This is more of a vintage education channel, so I’m not only collecting, but offering in-depth education about the figures and history of the toy-line itself. I hope you stick around to enjoy :). Hope all is well my friend

yavin was seriously overlooked by kenner. no ceremony outfits, no additional pilots, no extra droids
Yea I agree, so much could have been made there. Even an HQ Playset.
Good job Joey I'm jealous
Thanks DMR!!! Dude IM the one who is jealous of YOUR collection!!!
I’ve never seen a picture or ever knew there was a speeder bike😮
Now you know!!! Now go get one!!! Its actually a really cool designed toy from Kenner. Thanks for watching Sick!
