I have been depressed/had depression for 15 years. And suicidal for 12. The biggest reasons I haven't taken my own life is my mom. I regularly have conversations with her. Destiny describing why so many white men are gravitating towards those communities that don't specifically target them for being white males was so perfect. I have never heard those combination of words come out of a humans mouth but hearing it from him was in itself a red pill. Personally that made me watch his content even if i don't agree with everything he believes. Bravo sir.
I feel the same way about Etika. It’s been over a year and at least once a day he pops in my head and it hurts my heart that he really did it. I’m sorry you go through it with Reckful man.. people don’t understand how we can mourn people that we never met, but when you spend so many years following someone and getting a look into their minds then at that point it’s the same as a good friend passing..
3:43:55 Wow when Destiny embodies SquadW, he really goes for it. I don't think Train or somebody else could have made the same point at a time like this and been taken seriously.
I don't know I tend to agree with Train on the topic of toxicity. It's true that people who seem good in certain setting will become the toxic person in other settings. Because we can be blind to toxicity if it doesn't attack our angle some people can appear pure good.
Progressives believe in a hardcore individualism when it comes to social issues, like alternative sexualities and religious beliefs. They only believe in collectivism when it comes to money.
Well a lot of Christians, always enforce the belief that if one is to take their own life, there is no place in ‘Heaven’ for them. Heaven being the afterlife for Christianity. Extreme Christians would rather scold a man who takes their own life, rather than feel remorseful. They believe if one is not ‘gracious’ with the life god has given them, then they will burn in hell, and that there is no forgiveness for committing suicide. (Note I am not a Christian, nor do I have these beliefs.)
There's some evidence that religion protects against suicide, mostly due to the more community dependent relationships it forms, as well as the purpose one can derive from it. Whether or not religion is a healthy way to cope with mental health is another question entirely. Personally, I don't value life enough to lie to myself in order to be happy, but some people could care less. Ignorance is bliss~
@@neetfreek9921 its one of (Abrahamic) religion's many mechanisms for its own survival: have tons of kids, send them out to convert others, dont kill yourself (because its not productive, but say god says so), induce phobias like fear of hell onto your followers so they stay in line, and probably a million more i'm not remembering now.

2:21:21 Destiny arrives; far-left middle window, where moistcr1tikal was
destiny cares only about being seen as right

Destiny describing why so many white men are gravitating towards those communities that don't specifically target them for being white males was so perfect. I have never heard those combination of words come out of a humans mouth but hearing it from him was in itself a red pill. Personally that made me watch his content even if i don't agree with everything he believes. Bravo sir.
What time

@@obe22099 wow thank you so much. You commented a whole year ago too wow. I didnt expect a reply, thank you.
I feel like it takes the rest of these guys 20 minutes to express a really vague version of the basic stuff Dr k explains in 2 minutes

Nice popcast Doug keep the good work 😁👍
positivity for the win boys ❤️
I find myself thinking about Byron a lot it can be tough
I feel the same way about Etika. It’s been over a year and at least once a day he pops in my head and it hurts my heart that he really did it. I’m sorry you go through it with Reckful man.. people don’t understand how we can mourn people that we never met, but when you spend so many years following someone and getting a look into their minds then at that point it’s the same as a good friend passing..
Trainwrecks trying to talk smart, but his brain is failing him. 😂😂😂😂 And LMFAO XQC just trolling with chat at 3:40:00
xqc's so happy about it too
Before shitting on people on the internet, there were diaries. Only difference is now it is public and instantly gratified.
3:43:55 Wow when Destiny embodies SquadW, he really goes for it. I don't think Train or somebody else could have made the same point at a time like this and been taken seriously.
Honestly that’s something I wouldn’t expect Destiny to ever say. Definetly made me gain so much respect for him.
Dude, good vibes only squadR
I don't know I tend to agree with Train on the topic of toxicity. It's true that people who seem good in certain setting will become the toxic person in other settings. Because we can be blind to toxicity if it doesn't attack our angle some people can appear pure good.
3:43:58 is a really good point. Why a lot of people reject collectivism and so called progressive thought.
Progressives believe in a hardcore individualism when it comes to social issues, like alternative sexualities and religious beliefs. They only believe in collectivism when it comes to money.
*The story at **1:03:35** is amazing*
I enjoyed every minute of this podcast and learned so much, good job train and guests, love you
Great stream

what I want to know is what effect does religion on suicide. does being religious or agnostic have an effect on sucidality?
Well on the one hand you got the virgins heaven and on the other you got the fear of hell... Hmmmmmmm
Hey man, there's a fantastic documentary called Believer that will answer your question and even more. I highly recommend it if your serious about learning more :)
