I black out my room completely and put on calm music or a low sound nature documentary and just lay in bed. Usually that has helped me. I work 5 days/week from 11pm-7:30am.
Number 1 your freaking gorgeous. Number 2 I work 3rd shift security and it is brutal. Most of the time I come and can’t sleep. I try to sleep towards the afternoon. I think everyone body is diffrent and handle it different ways. Good luck to hope you find some strategy like I’m trying to do

just try not to work nights if at all possible.I did em for 15 years,and my biggest beef was not being able to sleep on my nights off.
