In an alternate timeline, in 1969 a Soviet cosmonaut, Alexei Leonov, becomes the first human to land on the Moon. This outcome devastates morale at NASA, but also catalyzes an American effort to catch up. With the Soviet Union emphasizing diversity by including a woman in subsequent landings, the United States is forced to match pace, training women and minorities who were largely excluded from the initial decades of U.S. space exploration.

Thanks for this man. I love this show but it's so long between seasons I'd forgotten much of it. I didn't realize the new season had released until yesterday so I never have the chance to rewatch season 2 and now I can't rewatch it because I know season 3 is there and could just be watching that lol

Goes to show how competitive humans are, when you don't have competition, we stagnate
You know, the bit I like the most is in episode 6 when they have the cosmonaut goes on about Laika. This was a famous CIA piece of propaganda to cover over another loss in the US space programme regarding life support systems in space vehicles.
To this day, americans brainlessly go on about Laika, because the CIA told them to, and so does the series, how Laika just wanted to go home, well, so did to Gorillas and other apes that NASA torched in their space programme. They didn't ask to be involved either and neither did the more human beings killed by NASA including women.
But again, this is hardly mentioned, even though it's always an easy point to make online at americans repeating this feelgood cold war propaganda, but the blowback is so bad, it actually makes it looks like Americans don't value human or animal life, after all.
Americans, they just can't leave the Cold War propaganda alone, even in an alternate history series. Really ruins the experience, being bombarded with all this cold war propaganda that's worse than anything North Koreans are subjected to on their own media.
This series is excellent with the exception of the Alieta storyline. She's a woke character who never says "thank you" and has the aura of entitlement that rubs you the wrong way.
just now watching season 1-2. Love the idea of alternate history and all the changes that could have been. BUT damn do I hate how this show is so focused on the characters personal crap stories. I dont want to see a child dying, couple divorcing, gay and lesbian secret lives, a mother have an affair with her dead son's best friend. This part of the show is such garbage, i have almost turned it off for good. Hope they get off the shock and aw personal lives crap and focus on the big picture developments of the alternate history.

Nice editing and production, but your accent is way too thick to understand. Very difficult to get through for me. Maybe try a spit guard as well as the wetness of your mouth really comes through and is gross. Nice job overall, keep it up.

Y'all must be listening on some high end headphones. Just turn them off and listen through your phone speaker he sounds fine. Also his accent is not that strong. If you can't understand it says more about you than him
Edit: after I commented I had found myself being a bit angered by your comment but I couldn't figure out why. Then it hit me.. You're a bigot. Anyone who complains about an accent instead of being happy/proud that someone took the time to learn OUR language will always turn out to be a racist. I'd bet anything you've told someone to "go back to your own country!" and just because you don't THINK YOU'RE RACIST absolutely does not mean you aren't racist.
