All the epos and meaning the first season had went to shit in the second one. Idk if it was different showrunners or whatever, but the magic and storytelling that the first season did so well is completely gone by the time we reach season 2. Thank you for uploading this recap, as i couldnt stomach watching that whole show.
None of it follows the books. The books are simply used as inspiration to tell a story, using elements from The Foundation, Galactic Empire, Robot and other series from Azimov. It is an original story, not an adaptation.
aside from these bad inclusions the story is ok. diversity is certainly always a bad thing. there's also a distinct lack of pretty women which is not cool as well. the supernatural series has hot skinny white women nearly every episode its like we get suffocated from all the ugliness in the world now. I'm not white btw.
Can't wait for season three. Great show. Gorgeous Lee Pace-phenomenal actor.

I liked season 1 but gave up on season 2. The wokeness is overwhelming.
season 1 woke agenda for women being portrayed as being stronger than men...Season 2 woke agenda lets add a gay general and make it extra gay...

too many black people in it, I couldn't identify with it. I'm a minority
And string powerful women and gay couples
yeah the diversity sucks and they are always bad actors but get the parts for the sake of diversity and they aren't pretty as well.
