How come you can play a Bb and a D and other notes above D without pressing valves when the you need to press down the first valve to play Bb and D in the staff
Essentially on a brass instrument, the higher you go the closer the partials are together. So basically the vibration of your lips doesn’t have to change as much between a c and d above the staff compared to in the staff. It changes the feel of the notes completely.
A very stupid question from a string player who doesn't know how to play a brass instrument: for exercises that only use natural harmonics and don't require valves, is there a good reason to still keep the fingers on the valves? (To maintain good posture perhaps?) I'm asking because a part of me seems paranoid that a valve is going to be pressed accidentally, even though I'm aware that they do take some effort to press down.
The only thing I can see that’s not accurate is the rhythms in some spots and I don’t think he is transcribing what he is playing I think he is just writing the general idea of what he is playing down. He didn’t count to see if he played a specific amount of times before he moved faster, the rest is completely accurate
This is impressive since I struggle with a high A and your playing higher notes like it’s nothing. Good job
Idk what your complaining bout I can barely get out a low C lol
@@thewhiteboystarterpack9358 did you just start?
@@thewhiteboystarterpack9358 and do you mean the c on the staff?
No I didn’t just start and im mean below the staff C
Play the Baritone.
This worked well for me my range tops out at a Double A now so I’m glad I learned this 👌
Those higher trills can be difficult without letting the pitch creep up!
My goodness. You are good! That was awesome. Thank you for creating this video.

@@DanielLealTrumpet hello , tell me how to take a breath when playing trumpet , and how to feel the support of exhalation ? thanks

How come you can play a Bb and a D and other notes above D without pressing valves when the you need to press down the first valve to play Bb and D in the staff
its related to something called the harmonic series, it relates to how metal vibrates and such, it's alot of physics

Do you play trumpet? Because the higher you go the less breath you should be using
@@levimccoy4127 hmmm. i must be doing something wrong
@@meloncolony2252 the higher you go the less air it takes because the tighter the space the air has to travel through must be smaller.
