Thanx for your kind words about Darkened👍 Cheers 🍻/Hempa
Darkened never disappoints!
Fantastic Album!
Another great New Metal Monday Video Lindsay!
💀🤘💀🤘
Great as always 😊
Loved all three of these - thanks! - Ulcerate is definitely my AOTY so far though. Mind-blowing from start to finish.
The magic 3 recommendations and great picks as always. I always listen to what you bring to your weekly videos.
Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear you're finding stuff you like!
Darkened is really good, and as someone mentioned, Voraath's debut album just launched and it deserves a spin!
I'll definitely check it out!
Thanks especially for the Golgotha recommendation, it really is a stunning piece of work and i'm going to check out their other material.
Thanks as always for the recommendations, and have fun at Machine ******* Head. "Now I Lay Thee Down" is one of my favourite songs to play on bass.
It was sooooo good!
Glad you had fun. Do you know who has replaced Vogg as the second guitarist?
I did listen to Fellwarden, tho it was early in the am.. will have to spin it again
Great picks as always. Severe Tortures new album is a good one. For you I’d start at the last track! It’s a beauty. Also the new album by Impact Approved got a bunch of listens this weekend.
I have only listened to a handful of new releases over the weekend and I have played the new albums from Golgotha and Crypt Sermon the most so far. I think you will very much enjoy the Crypt Sermon album after another listen or two. As has been mentioned in another comment, I also enjoy the debut full-length from Slave to Sirens, a very talented and courageous band from Lebanon.
Yes I gave Crypt Sermon a fair chance and I enjoyed it. I'll checkout Slave to Sirens too, thanks!
@@theheavymetaljournal I am glad to hear it. So far today, I am enjoying new releases that I have been waiting for (rather impatiently) - 1) A Fortress Called Home by Seven Spires - this band keeps getting better and Adrienne Cowan is now up there with Tatiana and Fernanda as my favorite female metal singers 2) Endo Feight by Sarke - this album hits my metal heart in all the right black/doom/rock places 3) Fire by Kittie - this was my most anticipated of the new releases because of how long they have been gone and the ladies did not disappoint.
Thanks a lot!
Haven't listened to Golgotha and Darkened yet, but I really digged the Fellwarden one. I also quite liked Ira Tenax with "Dark Awakening" (Melodic Death from Germany) and Slave to Sirens with "Echoes of Silence", a quite impressive Thrash/Death debut album by an all-female band from Lebanon.
I am also impressed with "Echoes of Silence" by Slave to Sirens. I was looking forward to the album since I heard Salome a couple of years ago. I had just about given up on the album ever happening, especially with the loss of two members. I am trying to figure out if the album is 100% the new vocalist or a split between the old and new.
My first listen . Love your excent . Sydney Australia 🦘 18/6/2024
Thank you! Welcome to the channel!
@@theheavymetaljournal that's my phone accent . Thanks for the welcome Australia 🦘 21/6/2024
Golgatha is dope 🔥.
But the favs here is
Mirar - Mare ( heaviest album of 2024 hands down )
Voraath - Vol.1 Hymn of the hunters
Great reviews!
Thanks
I highly recommend you check out newest Dagoba album: Different Breed. It's really fun listen.
Funnily enough I finished listening to that just yesterday and it's a fun album!
I love your channel but I don’t like the guttural growling. Can you please recommend some metal that avoids that in their albums.
I'll definitely recommend some when I come across them that I like! If you haven't already, check out Green Lung - This Heathen Land
