Top notch adventure my friend looked like a hoot. Its all about being organized. Figured I would leave a comment been a hot moment snice I have done that.
Aother great interesting video with terrific scenery. Thank you I'd like to know where toufound that wide spatula. That is cool. Thanks again. Thanks for taking us along.
@@BackwoodsGourmetChannel lake connasuga, used to backpack almost the whole wilderness there, but i never made it to the lake, don't have the legs for it anymore........
Have you ever tried cooking with Ghee? (Clarified Butter). I have been using it for a while now and absolutely love it. It has that wonderful butter flavor but has an extremely high smoke point, it is very concentrated so a little goes a long ways and best of all it doesn’t require refrigeration. It is easy to make yourself, but I am lazy and just buy a big tub of it at Costco, then transfer into a smaller container as needed, is lasts all year. Works great with eggs, taters and especially a steak cooked in CI..
I've been looking at plans for a GOOD chuck box to hold our camp kitchen. We practiced in the bwck yard to see how things fit and worked out. Thanks for the video.
check out those kayaking videos if you wanna see some adrenalin rush brutal whitewater.......townsend, TN little river and Tallulah Gorge, GA.....scenery in Tallulah is beyond excellent.
My family and I went to the Smokey Mountains a little while back. It was amazing! I had never been there before. We had rooms at the very top like a bunch of city slickers. Saw lots of black bears.
@@BackwoodsGourmetChannel thank you for thinking about this! I was wondering how it connects to your Tundra. Great tips & hope y’all have/had a good time!! Marcus from Chesapeake VA.
Great video. I love the Smoky Mountains and the feeling of peace that fills your being when out in them. It was also nice seeing Mrs Backwoods tonight.
Good looking camp breakfast Scott ! I love fall, but in the MidWest that means the white stuff is coming. Can’t always have a camp breakfast unless I use my Blackstone. Nice review on your camp gear .

Another amazing video! Love the cookin got me preparing a batch now too yaaaaaa!!!
Looks like Heaven. Thanks for sharing.
Looks tasty. I use a french press at home and in camp for coffee. All I need is hot water.
There's nothing like fried bacon and taters eggs and maybe a trout for breakfast in the woods
Great content. Loved the opening shot of the running water
Look like y'all had a great time and everybody know y'all ate good....
How do ya keep your coleman stove so clean. Mine dont look like that lol
Looks good! No potatoes? 🙈😉
ON a limited carb diet, so the pancakes already put me over the top on that. Thanks for watching.
that sign @ 17:22, did yall pass through the cohutta wilderness at some point?
I believe so. There was a lake and campground up there. Thanks for watching.

What's not to like. Great night sleep, great camp breakfast, super great scenery. Love this part of the country, especially in the fall. Thanks.
Thanks for watching. It was a great trip.
Looks good. I bought a Lodge skillet like the one you have and I need to season it more everything sticks to it. Eat up buddy.

@@billybreuer3224 Thanks. I did check it out. Bill put some serious thought in to this project.
Looks like fun. Beautiful scenery
No Natty Light for the morning?
Off camera....
Are you going to try and catch some trout? That would make a great video
Never seen Mrs. Backwoods before; lol. breakfast looked great
Thank you for sharing with us all!!! We really appreciate it!!! John T.
Hey Mr. Backwoods where'd you get that canopy ?
Roadhouse tarp from Amazon. Made in the USA. More videos to come on this.
@@BackwoodsGourmetChannel Thanks I found it.

Hell your first looks better than most lasts!
Gotta love double cholesterol!
Yum yum !!! I like that camp set up. Thank you.
what kind of tarp were you using to cover your truck and camp site?
This was the roadhouse tarp. Watch for a video on this.

Is that a dog or your stomach 🤣😂
If your on the tellico river and you should be at sour wood camp site I personally camp there all the time during trout season
Should have left that bacon grease in the pan no sticking and good flavor
You made me hungry! There is nothing like a meal made and eaten outdoors. (however, I was never successful at making pancakes during a camping trip.)

Not much like the Smoky Mountains in the Fall season.
New hobby:......gonna buy a few gold pans and some equipment and play in the creek with the kids and grandkids......50 bucks for a brand new hobby.
I have those also, did not pack them on this trip due to time. I love gold panning, but better out west.
I don't care to see a 17 minute video to make an easy camp breakfast. For me an easy camp breakfast should take about 5 minutes.
Well don't watch! Quick and painless!
I don't.
I would suggest Tic Tok if your attention span is that of a humming bird.
