The newer UV-5Rs benefit from the GT-5R!

The changes that were made for the "legal" GT-5R sold through Radioddity have made there way to the newer "regular" UV-5R it seems. The main boards are basically the same, and probably come off the same line.

what Do you think about the UV-5R8W? I really don't think they put out 8 watts, The first 2 I had bought on amazon where sent back, 1 had no volume control , the second one the speaker was all crackling, I don't know but a video from you would be cool to see if TX power really is 8 watts. Thanks keep up the cool video's.

I haven't tested any of these radios yet. I did receive an offer to test one, but wasn't too sure about the vendor (it wasn't Baofeng directly.) If I do end up with one, we'll take a look at it! 73
