14:00. I’m looking forward to visiting Brompton Junction on Bleeker to pick up my new T Line. I booked a hotel for my nearly two week stay there in Greenwich Village. It’s such a nice neighborhood!
👩🏻Thank you for watching and commenting, Christyle Channel! Yes it was tempting...so many cute stuffs and that electric bike... maybe someday. Happy New Year! 🎉
Hi that structure in the bike lane I think is to keep the cars out and the building with no windows I think is a Verizon telephone building were they do the land lines connect and disconnects Like your channel be safe😎
I'm pretty sure I'm about 30 years too old because I'm 9 minutes into your video and haven't felt this stressed out watching you guys traverse through the downtown traffic. Actually I think I've just aged another 5 years per 9 minutes. By the end of this video, I should be able to collect social security. My lord!!
@lebomoro That is true. In the suburbs where I normally ride, I encounter aggressive drivers everyday. In the city, the drivers are more conscious of riders from my experience. It's surprisingly a big difference!
For better understanding: I prefer flat bars rather than the typical Brompton's bullhorns. 😅 11:29 I have seen a video on UA-cam as this building was caught on fire.
The building with no windows. That's AT&T The Long Lines Building. It was built to house telephone switching equipment. It is often described as one of the most secure buildings in America and was designed to be self-sufficient with its own gas and water supplies along with generation capabilities and protected from nuclear fallout for up to two weeks after a nuclear blast. (Wikipedia)
I imagine this is considered a Data Center. There are hundreds of data racks with communication equipment for telephone, cable and internet communication. Here is a ton of cooling to keep equipment running. There are Several of these Data Centers in Silicon Valley where I live.
👩🏼🦲I`m not sure the logic of the location. We find them all over the place including to the left and right side of parked cars. I hope one day they make them easier to use and keep cars and pedestrians out of the bike lane.
ニューヨークの街並みポタリング、良いですね。寒そうな街並みもニューヨークらしい?
暖かくしてお過ごしください✌️良い年越しを😄
Thank you for the comment.

Great adventure. Thank you for taking us along.
👩🏻Hi, Diane! How nice of you to say that. Thank you!
I enjoyed watching your video :-). Cheers!
Thanks for share that experience. I wish you a Happy New Year!
Happy new year!

🧑🏼🦲Some of the bike lanes abruptly end and can be dangerous. I can't imagine how the bike messengers do it everyday 😱
@lebomoro That is true. In the suburbs where I normally ride, I encounter aggressive drivers everyday. In the city, the drivers are more conscious of riders from my experience. It's surprisingly a big difference!
You just need to buy a set of fenders next time your in Brompton Junction, it will solve the dirty seat post problem.
🧑🏼🦲I am using removable fenders and they are working good so far. I will eventually add fenders but I like the look without them ✌️
For better understanding: I prefer flat bars rather than the typical Brompton's bullhorns. 😅
11:29 I have seen a video on UA-cam as this building was caught on fire.
🧑🏼🦲Thanks for the comment! It looks worse in real person.
I really love your videos. Thanks for the ride !

👩🏻 Wow. Very interesting building. Thank you for all the information!!!

Hello my friend a big huge from Chile, are they really a good bike???? A eternal bike.?????? Good bye :)
Yes, Brompton is high quality. Some Bromptons are 20 years old and still cycle well.
Noticed a lot of bike lanes are located on the left side of the street. Is it because fewer drivers turn left vs right? Or some other reason?
👩🏼🦲I`m not sure the logic of the location. We find them all over the place including to the left and right side of parked cars. I hope one day they make them easier to use and keep cars and pedestrians out of the bike lane.
👌👍 what is the weather like? Cheers
🧑🏼🦲It felt like summer!
What’s the temperature there? Nice no gloves needed hehehe
👩🏻 Temperature was around 60 on that day. Lol. You remember I lost my gloves!
I don’t know what those things are for. 🤷🏼
It's probably a kind of vehicle barrier system. I don't know what the building is and how important it is?
