Such a lovely trip videos, like a meditation for me. Tempting to buy Brompton myself for daily use, but only c-line is available in Lithuania.. Good day!
I love your videos and the great enjoyment you have exploring. I love my electric Brompton and do a lot of exploring myself. One thing that makes me nervous is that you sometimes blow through red lights or ride the wrong way on a one-way street especially with a little tan tan. That makes me very concerned about his safety, but keep up the great videos!
Thanks for watching. We try to stick to the bike lanes. The wrong way streets we went though during this video were all closed to traffic (the event blocked the side roads) We don't normally do that.
Enjoy your videos. The chain on my T Line also fell off just yesterday. The chain catcher is GLUED onto the frame! When I went to loosen the chain catcher, it fell off entirely and I discovered that the glue pad holding the chain catcher was installed improperly. Glued on!?! on such as expensive bike! Its my 3rd Brompton and I’ve never seen any component added with glue.
Hello BFT, just found your channel and appreciate your content, thanks. I was wondering, heading there for Thanksgiving and wanted to get your thoughts on me bringing over my Brompton and riding around in the fall as well as tips? Thanks.
Fall is a great time to ride in NYC. The weather is cooler and maybe you can ride in Central Park when the leaves are changing. Just make sure you have lights as it gets dark out rather quick.
@@BromptonFamilyTime : Thanks for the heads up. I'm just worried if its gonna be too chilly or a bit damp but the fall colors is the hook for sure. Maybe I get to bump into you guys too. Ride safe, thank you!
Hi BFT from Barcelona! I have seen in the video that you have finally assembled the Continental Contact Urban that I recommended on Instagram. How about the result? after a few months I liked its lightness, its low rolling resistance but nevertheless the lateral grip is zero. I will continue for a few more months but I will ride the Primo Comet again, which is the best choice for me. All the best.
Hi Alfred. So far I love them. I haven't had any problems with the lateral grip so far. It is really noisey on turns though. I still need more time to test them. I haven't tested them to the limit on fast turns yet.
I got to photograph a Graffiti Hall of Fame event back in 2015. That's a shame someone "tagged" their scribble on top of it...smh! Thank you for sharing your family's bike tour throughout the city.🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴🚵♂️🚵♀️🚵♀️
👩🏻Hi! Shu was waiting outside, watching the bikes. 😊Me and Takumi went in quickly to cool down a little and also show you what inside looked like so it was only for short period of time.
After all the R&D, it's disappointing that Brompton couldn't anticipate problem with chain coming off, needing tool. That simple thing could ruin some Bromy enthusiasts day.
I've only had this problem with the T-Line. It probably has to do with the length of chain and tensioner. This happens when you add too many gears, which is probably why it only has 4 gears. It's quite reliable overall.
@@nebacanzer I bought my first Brompton in Japan. I also rode many Dahons too. I love riding in Japan. I use to commute to work by bicycle and it allowed me to explore Japan's countryside better.
What a great ride! Little guy held onto the handlebar the whole way like a champ. Go Tan Tan!
He has gotten so comfortable with riding he loves when we go to the city.
@@BromptonFamilyTime You can tell he's having a blast :)
I’ve been watching your videos since you started. And finally gotten myself the new C line to ride to work!
That is awesome! The C Line is a great all around model.
Best cycling and Brompton channel in the YT universe 🥰
Thanks we have been enjoying making these videos. ✌️
Cuteness overload!
Love your videos, beautiful family (and bikes😁)
Thanks so much!
it´s allways so cool to go on a NY ride with you...
Thanks! We love riding in the city. There's always something going on.
Nice Ride👍. Have you seen last week in Coney Island. Now i‘m back at home. Greatings from Germany.✌️😎
Thanks for watching. We would love to ride in Germany one day
Were you staying in Coney Island NY?
nice bike great ride...
Thanks!

Wow, thank you for watching from Lithuania! 😊
Thank you! I take my first full city ride on Sunday, when the city shuts down the streets. Can't wait!
Hope you enjoy it!
ハーレムもタイムズスクエアも賑わってますねーー。ファミリーライド、楽しそうでいいなあ。。(私はいつも一人なので…)

Loved this, may I ask how do you find or know all these amazing spots to visit….kind regards from fellow Brommies in Toronto…🙏🏼
I just ride around without a destination. Shoko does try to find spots to visit though so it's just a mix in our videos.
That little small torque wrench tool looks handy, may I know what’s brand is that?
I am using the Brompton Tool Kit. It's been great except the metal spanners. I recommend carrying plastic ones that wont damage the rims.

Wow I didn't even think about that. Are you bringing it back to Brompton to fix?
@@BromptonFamilyTime I’ll eventually bring the bike into Brompton Junction for repair. I’m wondering if its really needed.

Olá como está?
Bom vídeo abraços
Hi! Thank you for watching!! 😊
You guys locked your Brompton out in the street when you guys went into the Guggenheim museum?
👩🏻Hi! Shu was waiting outside, watching the bikes. 😊Me and Takumi went in quickly to cool down a little and also show you what inside looked like so it was only for short period of time.
@@BromptonFamilyTime phew…u got my worry there…locking Brompton out in the street for more than 5 minutes in nyc is a big no no.
Shu says the same thing! 😳 Leaving the bikes unattended in BYC is Big No No!

The punks that tag the graffiti wall are a disgrace.
There are plenty of walls out there too.

How did you meet your wife if thats not too nosy.
I lived in Japan for 5 years! We met then. I haven't had time (or money lol) to back in over 10 years.
