This made my morning. Paul's Dark Angels are ace, especially that Master and your work on Kharnifex's GSC is just perfect! Fantastic pacing and camera work. These batreps really evoke the energy and narrative of 2nd edition - keep up the great work mate! Looking forward to the 5th ed report!
Thank you my friend as I said to Kharnifex today I was really looking forward to your response and feedback as I truly value your opinion Ed. Look forward to talk to you this weekend
Very impressive! I’ll probably watch these battle reports a few times, just like I used to reread the battle reports in White Dwarf over and over. Excellent job and true to the original feel. Thanks for the putting in the work to make these!
Thanks and yes I’m happy Paul has the heavy brick on a metal rod that’s the Ravenwing landspeeder lol. It’s a great model. Thanks for watching and commenting
Thank you for your positive feedback and we played 1500 points this time and the last battle report was 1200 points. I didn’t say as these are more narrative rather than game(y) if you know what I mean. Thanks for your question
Thank you very much for watching and have a great time painting your classic angry grape faced hybrids ;). I used a mix of VMC Dark Prussian Blue and Purple Ink for the bodies and highlighted with light grey and white. The faces are a base of Eidolon Purple air Citadel paint mixed the Contrast medium and washed over a white primed base. Highlighted with white
That’s awesome and I hope you can give it a try. A lot of the game card assets are available in the Files section of the FB group if that’s any help to you at all?
another awesome batrep. I wonder if the cult sentinels can take grenade launchers for some blind grenade goodness. That could be a good way of getting those gorgeous metal genestealers into close combat!
Very nice report with real flavour and obvious passion of the edition! Nice camera work, great choice of names for the squads. I am painting my 2ed scouts, which were pretty terrible in game but they are I think the best scout models we have had.
Thank you for watching and your feedback. The Romantic filter I use just adds some softness and improves the quality to the visuals from my iPhone I feel. I did limit in areas where it blurred out too much. Sorry if this was distracting and I will try next time without the filter and see what it looks like
Really excellent report, and I like the slightly more detailed army presentation shots at the start more than the Blood Angels one immediately prior - super well done, and thank you so much for making this! Also, whilst the GSC are an army on loan, tbe DA are actually Paul's I think? If so, you might like the old 40K2E campaign pack called "Storm of Vengeance". It pits the DA vs Orks in an escalating mini-campaign, and it's similar in many ways to the WHFB campaign packs of the same era. Not only would that be a great campaign to watch you guys play, but I'll bet you'd have lots of fun recreating the old scenery too. 😁
As the GSC are *your* army, I just have ask: what models are the Acolytes with the banners? They're great models, and whilst they feel really familiar, I'm having difficulty placing them. I'd love to get a couple for my own army too! 😃
Nice battle report. I recommend you leave out the dice rolls, though. They really add nothing. Conversely, I think you should spend a little more time describing the effects of things like strategy cards or wargear for those who aren't familiar or don't remember them. It would add to the narrative as well, to describe their effects.
Some great points and I deleted a lot of the dice rolling as they don’t add too much to the video at all really if there is not context but in some cases it’s nice to see the rolls for important events in the game and deciding moments. Thanks for the feedback and I’ll take that on board for the next one

Very nice camera control and editing. It's nice and stable, easy to follow and enjoyable to watch. ❤
Thanks Ben

Thanks and yes I’m happy Paul has the heavy brick on a metal rod that’s the Ravenwing landspeeder lol. It’s a great model. Thanks for watching and commenting

Awesome video! I'm painting some old genestealer hybrids for Space Crusade, and I love the color scheme you guys have used.

Nice battle report. Really getting me in the mood to use my genestealers. :)
Hope to see them on the table top soon Adrian and thanks for watching and commenting mate
great video makes me want to try second edition.
That’s awesome and I hope you can give it a try. A lot of the game card assets are available in the Files section of the FB group if that’s any help to you at all?
That first Dark Angel landspeeder should have been called the "Red Mist."
lol love it Dave
Another great battle report.
Thanks mate
Loving these reports mate. Looking forward to Tears of Isha!
Thanks and looking forward to Tears to as I will probably be crying those as my Elves get crushed lol
Great batrep! Always a joy to see real 40k.
Thank you for watching and commenting

Thanks mate and yes maybe they can. Not sure and will have to check that out. Thanks for bringing that up.
Yeah auto launcher is a vehicle card you can add on
@@kharnifex thought it might be. that's how I filled the table with blind grenades that time josh and I played! Arooouuuu!
@@kharnifex oh damn! That would have been perfect. I’m hopeless at this game as you may have guessed lol
Nonesense, and this was a moral victory, the saved strategy card, we got robbed!! Nice work

Great work man! keep it up!
Thank you and I will try for sure.
Nice Report! I‘m a big fan from the daemon world army! It would be great if you could do a battle Report on it😊!
Great video, but I find the soft focus effect on the edges of the video distracting

Aww Yiss
Your army and they are bloody glorious mate. Time to pack them away and send them back to papa patriarch

Cheers mate and glad you enjoy it
Cool 👍
Thank you for watching and your feedback
Good battle
Nice report, but 'penultimate' means second-to-last.
I just had my re-printed Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader delivered. I am just wondering if you picked one up?
Awesome for you. I did order it but cancelled as I needed the money sadly. Paul had a copy here so we will for sure play RT 40K at some point
Yeeeahaaaaa!!! :D
👍
Thanks for watching Markus
