@ja37d-34 Orcs are da bestest. I played Greenskins alot in 8th due the horribly written armybook the Tomb Kings were given, great ideas but poorly implemented.
@ja37d-34 they had many of the better units from the old books ,scorpions as example, nerfed. If it was either points cost or stats that would be fine but it was both. They could heal enough and damage output couldn't keep up with other armies. They could have an amazing magic phase and the Casket was the best unit in the book. The problem was you had to have a great magic phase to deal real damage. Hordes and the steadfast rule really hurt the army as well as many armies could put out a ton of hordes and with the BSB reroll and steadfast their army went nowhere. TKs on the other hand lost models if they lost combat. Chariots were fun but not great as they couldn't break hordes and since people started to field deathstars you really didn't want your chariots to go into those. There were lists that did ok but so many books could outpace them with the damage they could do it was painful to play. My group gave me a 10% handicap in extra points and a few guys though it should be more. Constructs tended to die to poison or to someone rolling a six to wound so their toughness wasn't what it could be. Side note we tested using the book in 7th, as we still play that, and it was great. Toughness on the sphinx meant you had to be at least str 4 to wound and so many other things made the army work. I think it was just Cruddace being inexperienced and making a 7th edition book and the other teams making 8th edition books.
Skaven are brutally restricted. To have troops from the greater clans you gotta have the hero from that clan, and youre only allowed one hero per thousand points.
Those Orcs look decent. I am too much a sucker for Brian Nelson´s sculpt to ever give up them. But cool to see something else!
Valid.
These orks look great. Great paint job on the tomb kings too.
i'm happy to actually see the bone giant do good lol. I've seen so many bat reps with the bone giant do nothing sadly .
He smashed some orcs to bits haha
Would love to see a post game recap on thoughts on units/play.
Same!
We'll start doing that 👍
Cool that you film close enough so we can see what's what.
Tomb king army looks good, nice paint job and Colour scheme. I like the modern Orc/gobbo models I assume from AOS.
They were 3d prints
Thank you. Yeah the Orcs are straight image pulls from Total War Warhammer
where can i find these orcs??@@squarehammer9349
RIP emang but those models looks great.
So tough to choose a side as I love playing both armies. Just love Tomb Kings more and they were the army that got me into the game at the end of 6th.
And good times that was.. :) But orcs are cooler! ;)

@@newtpondskipper They are!
Ah I never played 8th Ed.. But I have looked in the army book, which looks cool.
Ah Tomb Kings were garbage there?

That is a LOT of orcs!
It's nice to see reports that aren't all over an hour long. I don't need to see every dice roll, just cool armies and a synopsis of the game.
Do you know if the orc & goblin 3d prints were scaled down or not? When I print them they look huge
Grey orcs? some new variant XD
Tomb king army is technically illegal, as the army MUST have a unit of skeleton warriors OR archers (40/50 point tax)
You're 100% correct...woof. Thank you
So must have a Heirophant, King or Prince and one unit of warriors/archers? Does any other army have that many tax units?
@@newtpondskipperorcs do. Black orcs require both leader and mob. If you want night goblins you gotta take the leader per unit of night goblins.

I now know why it was made illegally...I made that list in 5 minutes after he showed up
great game, where did you guys acquire the magnetic tray substitutes under the orcs?
Hi there. It's just roofing metal rectangles!
Were did you get the files for the Orcs and Goblins, really like the sculps
They were pulled images from Total War but the guy got a crease and desist from GW haha
Good work guys
Nice battle rep Blu. Could you do a comparison vid WAP vs ToW?
Good call! Once we have ToW down well enough we could do that
How does the Warboss on a boar go into the black orc unit?
It's depicted under characters joining units in the rulebook, he just slots right in taking up two rows
Where are the orc models from they look good. Would love to add to my collection
There straight from Total War!

PAINT YOUR MINIS!
The dreaded greyskin hordes...
