Loved 5th edition warhammer. Though the hatred rules always struck as so unfair. The Dark Elves and Dwarfs got rerolled to hit on the first turn and unmodified leadership 10 against their chosen opponents. I used to not play with it when I fielded dwarves against my friends orcs and it just felt ridiculously unbalanced.

This video brought back so many good memories of my friends and I spending whole weekends playing battles on his kitchen table. I'm a fan of modern GW but this was the best time to be in the hobby IMO. Instantly subscribed.

Thanks for this one. It's a shame when things are so one sided but battles can be like that. I know from my own squat army that thudd guns can be very effective anti-personel weapons when you are lucky with the dice and assault squad squats are quite good in hand to hand. Keep the good stuff coming.

Very nice. I had a nice sized squat army for 2nd edition. All lead with the hard to find plastic arms waiting to be assembled and painted, but I parted ways with them to collect other things. I have a little regret, but I have such a massive pile of shame something had to go. I won’t be selling off my Squats for Epic tho!

This really takes me back. I got addicted to Warhammer in 1993 with the 4th edition box set. I've been an Orc and goblin fan since. Lots of armies in between but I bleed green 💚

Wasn't one of those Nurgle Deathgalleys sunk by the Wolfships at 48:00 supposed to have warty scales that reinforced the hull? I don't think it should have taken the critical hit.
