Neil Young is as authentic as they come. His singing long may you run to support Conan is just another reason in a mile long list of reasons why he is such a great artist and human being.
That whole last week was pretty legendary. "It's just crazy expensive."
What a great comedian. I can't wait to see what he's going to come up with for the new HBO show. There's probably too much damage at NBC for things to ever be patched up there, short of NBC losing a LOT of egos, very quickly - but I'd love to see Coco back at the helm of the Tonight Show. It felt so natural, seeing him there, while it lasted.

I recall Conan closing his last show with "Free Bird", his version.

Neil Young with Booker T, "All Along The Watchtower", the 10.54 minute version ONLY, is a defining moment in rock. That 1 song in that concert, propelled Young into the highest level of guitar players.
The Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary version at MSG is a notch better imo. He finds another gear.

I love how Neil Young would have been torn to shreds on American Idol, but he's got infinitely more talent than any of the contestants on that show.

Conan is a brilliant comic, he's just a little too offbeat for the typical Late Night TV talk show, and there are only a half dozen of those jobs available. He is WAAAAY funnier than Jimmy Fallon.
