      I flew him to Teterboro and made him laugh when he asked what kind of plane is that "an old sabreliner. tole him about it and he asked "who would buy it" told him a rich guy who is not rich enough but wants to stroke his ego for his friends" he burst into laughter and I said oh you know the type? laughing hard he shook his head in an up & down yes motion.

    Mr. Young is a personal hero and was up at the top of the list of musicians I brought into my daughter's life (along with boring dad history tidbits!). As a NorCal native, I know so many good people whose lives have been enrichened by Neil Young and his work/life family. I'm just over the moon at seeing this.

Significant given the dearth of live material from the band. Now this is somewhat significant but who knew at the time. You can hear how good they are LIVE! I felt the same...I'd rather hear Neil talk about the 60s than Conan gush about Neil's accolades to Neil!!!!

    Neil Young has certainly earned his accolades, but what a colossal ego!
    I think he may be exceeding his quota just a tad.

    Remember when Neil Young got Rogan canceled from Spotify because he didn't like free speech... oh yeah, that didn't happen.

      How is it possible that Americans have no idea what free speech is? Neil asked to remove his music from a private business because he did not agree with the content of that private business.

    • @sean2044
      @sean2044 Рік тому +2

      @AJ1430 I didn't say he didn't have the right to remove his music, but that "content" was speech that he deemed to be "disinformation."

    • @AJ-hc5zo
      @AJ-hc5zo Рік тому +2

      Right, Neil found content on the platform irresponsible and did not want to be associated with it. He did not call for a government ban or any thing that is actually censorship. He simply expressed to spotify that he believed they were promoting harmful material that he won't be complicit with. Again please read what free speech actually is.

    • @sean2044
      @sean2044 Рік тому +1

      @AJ1430 His intent was obvious. Keep talking in circles. I'm very aware of what freedom of speech entails.

      @@sean2044 But you keep indicating you do not understand. Trying to get content removed from a private company is completely consistent with free speech. You don't have a right to a specific platform. Pressuring a platform to remove something is just free speech and the very basics of a free market.
