One missed point with a bit of a sadder undertone: Fred and George joking that they are identical as Harry also represents ... the very, very last time they will actually BE identical.

@@insaincaldo I've known kids with those names, to my knowledge they weren't bullied. Winni (short for Winifred) is to this day one of my best friends.
@@insaincaldo Maybe she goes by a shortened name because saying Winifred might get a bit of a mouthful? I have a friend called Alexander, and he shortens his name. It isn't because he's bullied, but because saying Alexander is just a bit much if you say it too frequently. Besides, I've known a girl called Georgia and she was the most popular girl in my class! And Winifred is a lovely name!
My favorite Fred and Gorge moment is when they take the aging potion in the goblet of fire because that is the only time you will EVER see the twins all grown up
Number 8 was funnier in the books, where they literally scold Moody that he "can't even tell us apart if we're Harry"... Same tension diffusion, but so much more fun... :D
Fred and George are my favorite characters of the whole saga If i had the chance of having two identical twins there’s no way i would waste the opportunity of naming them fred and george
You forgot the dance, them making fun of Ron, and at the battle of Hogwarts, just their simple conversation they had, and the part about hitting Voldemort with snowballs
One of my favorites has to be when George loses his ear. “‘How do you feel, Georgie?’ whispered Mrs. Weasley. George’s fingers groped for the side of his head. “Saintlike,” he murmured. “What’s wrong with him?” croaked Fred, looking terrified. “Is his mind affected?” “Saintlike,” repeated George, opening his eyes and looking up at his brother. “You see... I’m holy. Holey, Fred, geddit?” Mrs. Weasley sobbed harder than ever. Color flooded Fred’s pale face. “Pathetic,” he told George. “Pathetic! With the whole wide world of ear-related humor before you, you go for holey?” It shows how even in a dark time, even when George could’ve just died, and he knows it, the twins still try to stay positive by joking around. George can tell his entire family but especially his brother are scared for him, and he makes a joke, because he knows that’s how to calm his brother down. I’d like to think that after Fred died, he made a joke in the afterlife to try and pay back the favor to George.
My favourite is in the chamber of secrets “Make way for the Heir of Slytherin, seriously evil wizard coming through” That’s my favourite but it goes on and I like the rest "Oh, get out of the way, Percy," said Fred. "Harry's in a hurry." "Yeah, he's off to the Chamber of Secrets for a cup of tea with his fanged servant," said George, chortling. Ginny didn't find it amusing either. "Oh, don't," she wailed every time Fred asked Harry loudly who he was planning to attack next, or when George pretended to ward Harry off with a large clove of garlic when they met.
*"Extremely useful Harry Potter trivia"* Well, considering that you make a full time living from making videos about Harry Potter trivia, I'd say yeah ... it actually is useful!
When I firstly read the books, it was in Greek and the Gred and Forge joke was cut for obvious reasons. Years later, I got the audiobooks in English, so when this part came up, it laughed waaaay to much
I've wondered for a long time how they learn to do any of that. Other than Snape's potions class, there doesn't seem to be any class in how to create magical items, yet somehow they learn to do it, and Harry, Hermione, and Ron never do. And somehow, the Marauders created the Marauder's Map - an incredibly powerful magical object, capable of seeing the entire castle (except for the Rom of Requirement and the Chamber of Secrets), including all the secret entrances and exits, and seeing through disguises and invisibility and polyjuice potion and animaguses, etc. How did four students manage to create such a thing?
@@PhilBagels i think Fred and Georges inventions can be summed up to lots of trial and error. its heavily implied in books 4 and 5 that Fred and George tried for a ridiculous time and had to many failed attempts to count. They also probably spent time study certain plant and animal properties to see what to use for certain items. I have absoluteyno ideas how the marauders did it though
@@PhilBagels - The Marauders probably had a bunch of adventures à la Fred & George & the Harry/Ron/Hermione trio. IMHO They're probably meant to encountered a bunch of strange artifacts while trying to find stuff to help Lupin with his Moony stuff, had a lot of connections with some shady powerful wizards who would teach kids advanced magic like animagus for $$$, etc (might have helped to have a Black in the crew) no pun intended
Personally, my favorite moment is in The Order of the Phoenix movie when they are comforting a first year who was just punished by Umbridge. Shows their true character, they’re pranksters but they care for others.
Minor detail of Fred and George being good brothers that you may have missed because it takes place over two books. In Order of the Phoenix Harry sees the twins pocketing Doxy eggs while cleaning out 12 Grimmauld Place, the same book where Ron become Keeper. In Half Blood Prince we find out Cormac McLaggen had to miss tryouts for keeper the previous year because he was in the hospital wing for eating Doxy eggs for a bet. Not only do we see Fred and George taking eggs, they are the only characters we know who would bet another student to eat something that would send them to the hospital wing. Fred and George knew Cormac would be the biggest competition to Ron in the tryouts so the took him out of the running before he even got a chance. They wanted Ron on the team and did whatever the could to help him.
One of my favorites has got to be during the celebration for Harry after the first task when he opens the egg and one of the two says "Don't be a prat Neville, they aren't going to use the Cruciotis Curse on the champions. Sounds a bit like Percy singing. Harry, maybe you've got to attack him in the shower"
I *just* reread the Sorcerer's Stone, didn't connect the dots until this video, and laughed for several minutes. XD Oh, Fred and George, what mad lads!
0:56 "Question? Have you ever wondered what you would do if you found yourself in the middle of a post apocalyptic world due to a deadly virus..." Were you channeling your inner Trelawney when you made this video 5 month ago....
One of my favorite Fred and George moments that wasn't included was when they actively joke about Harry being the heir to Slytherin, saying "make way for the Heir of Slytherin, seriously evil wizard coming through..." A subtly thoughtful moment of them trying to lighten the mood and make Harry feel better amidst all the seriousness that is happening :) ok but also... "What are Fred and I, next-door neighbors?" @@thelegend1801 Oh my goood! I love them! "Harry's in a hurry". Oh, I love those guys! Thank you!
I love it when Fred asks Angelina to the Yule Ball with him lol it's iconic
One missed point with a bit of a sadder undertone: Fred and George joking that they are identical as Harry also represents ... the very, very last time they will actually BE identical.
My brain just went "George could take polyjuice to look like Fred and it would essentially just be the equivalent of growing his ear back"
Wait- you didn’t have to ruin that moment like that like cmon
Shut up
“What are Fred and I next door neighbours?!” Lol 😂 this made me so happy in the books
Same!
Honestly it made me sad because it just shows you how much people overlook the twins. Even their own mother
I love that Scene in goblet of fire where Ron dances with Mcgonagall and Harry asks them,”your never gonna forget this?” NeVer
My favorite moment is when Fred gives Hermione the yellow paste to take away the bruise on her eye from their punching telescope. And just how sincere he was when she asked if the paste was safe. It’s not a huge moment but it’s one of my favorites
Feet off the table
"FEET OFF THE TABLE"
idk why I like that so much tho
How can you not!😂
Get out of the kitchen Ron!
YEAH GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN RON
“The more you follow the rules, the less likeable you are.” Remus and Hermione learned early that if you can’t find a way around the rule break them.
Well, Remus never BROKE the Rules, he just was silent when the Marauders did it to help him with his fluffy Problem.
Also, you simply CANT call out Sirius for playing pranks. He and James together are so funny. I still belive they only did it to make Remus smile as often as possible, because, well ... being a Werewolf is not funny, so they do everthing to help their best friend
“We’ll send you a Hogwarts toilet seat.”

YES YES YES

This one is the favorite of my "irish twin" boys. Lol
AND THEN THEY SEND ONE TO HARRY IN THE HOSPITAL WING 😍
Isn't that like three videos in a row where they managed to include Voldemort laughing? That's impressive lol
I found this comment just as I heard the laugh, and I thank you for preparing me for it because I would have died
Them: *introducing the sponsor* have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a post apocalyptic world ravaged by a deadly virus?

Watching over your Fred like you have been watching over my Harry for all these years.

If they're twin girls, they could be Winifred and Georgia.
Yah, make sure they are getting bullied why don't ya?
@@insaincaldo I've known kids with those names, to my knowledge they weren't bullied. Winni (short for Winifred) is to this day one of my best friends.
Frederica andGeorgina
@@ashleighscott9896 Well that's just nice. Though if they barely go by full name that, might be part of it.
And Winifred is a lovely name!
i feel like "wow, we're identical" should be a meme
It is, or was not all potter memes have long lifespans
It would be a wonderful meme someone needs to start it.
That's actually a really good idea. I would probably use it.

Number 8 was funnier in the books, where they literally scold Moody that he "can't even tell us apart if we're Harry"... Same tension diffusion, but so much more fun... :D
I actually remembered that part of book 6, where Flitwick left part of the swamp there!

When did that happen? I want to reread that!
King Elite Omega thanks!
George: You okay Freddie?
Fred: pause yeah
George: me too
Also
Percy: ROOKWOOD!!!
Percy: ROOOOOKWOOOODDD
One of my favorites has to be when George loses his ear.
“‘How do you feel, Georgie?’ whispered Mrs. Weasley. George’s fingers groped for the side of his head.
“Saintlike,” he murmured.
“What’s wrong with him?” croaked Fred, looking terrified. “Is his mind affected?”
“Saintlike,” repeated George, opening his eyes and looking up at his brother. “You see... I’m holy. Holey, Fred, geddit?”
Mrs. Weasley sobbed harder than ever. Color flooded Fred’s pale face.
“Pathetic,” he told George. “Pathetic! With the whole wide world of ear-related humor before you, you go for holey?”
It shows how even in a dark time, even when George could’ve just died, and he knows it, the twins still try to stay positive by joking around. George can tell his entire family but especially his brother are scared for him, and he makes a joke, because he knows that’s how to calm his brother down.
I’d like to think that after Fred died, he made a joke in the afterlife to try and pay back the favor to George.
I reckon if Fred survived the Battle of Hogwarts he would have cursed his ear off so him and George could be identical again

"Yeah, he's off to the Chamber of Secrets for a cup of tea with his fanged

Ginny didn't find it amusing either.
"Oh, don't," she wailed every time Fred asked Harry loudly who he was

Avery the Cuban-American
Harry Potter world is honestly a great experience. Just the prices..
IMHO They're probably meant to encountered a bunch of strange artifacts while trying to find stuff to help Lupin with his Moony stuff, had a lot of connections with some shady powerful wizards who would teach kids advanced magic like animagus for $$$, etc

"We are not naming them Fred and George"
Can't wait for your twins Gred and Forge to be born! !
"We will 100% not be naming them Fred and George if they are boys" sad. But also valid
only if they're girls
George Carlin.
whenever their room is described in the burrow to have occasional explosions heard from it is just a great detail
