I know. In the book after SPOILERS Fred dies, the next chapter immediately starts with "the world had ended, so why haven't the battles ceased?" And something about how there was no way Fred could have died. It still makes me sad
"this lot won't come cheap, mum" "we'll manage." literally one of my most favorite lines of every single movie. i didn't grow up with much money and it's usually portrayed that everyone has all the money they need when in reality it's hard if you have a large family. the comforting reassurance of molly is just tear-provoking to me
I’ve heard a much sadder version of this Fred’s funeral George guys can I have a moment with Fred alone Everyone else leaves George: hey Fred you can stop now But Fred’s eye doesn’t open George I wish it was only a joke
One of the things I found the saddest in the movies was how you just didn't see the twins relationship with Harry. I would honestly say that besides of course Ron and Hermione that the twins were two of Harry's closest friends.
People forget that Harry gave his Tri-Wizard money to the twins. That's how they got the joke shop and why they gave him anything he wanted for free. This was left out of the movie.
When you’ve got a 2 hour runtime, things have to be whittled down. The filmmakers even said over time, they made the decision to have the movies focus primarily on Harry.
I think Harry and his relationship with the twins is really underrated/underappreciated. Fred and George have always been protective, helpful and kind to Harry. Honestly, they treat Harry like an actual blood related sibling and treat him better than Ron and their other siblings.
Nahhh they were good to all the siblings that deserved it. The ragging on Ron was typical sibling banter… however, Harry gets treated not as a younger brother but as the favorite cousin 😂😂
I’d say they treated Ginny with same level of affection as they did Harry. Prolly cause they all played on the gryffindor quidditch team together. Either way it was obvious they saw him as their brother
LOL LOL LOL wouldn't it have been hilarious?!? I would have roflmao 'd if it had been oh God that would have been great but hey we still have a wonderful video to enjoy thank you 4 your comment have a pleasant day dear friend

Out of everyone who died in the HP universe Fred's death broke my heart. I felt sorry for George who had to go through life without his twin by his side. They were my favorite characters
Fred and George were very talented and clever wizards, rivaling James and Sirius if not better. I will always feel hurt by Fred’s death. The twins always brought joy in some kind of way. Weasley Twins Forever.
Funny fact: when revisiting the great hall set Fred’s actor said “You just remember things that happened and they feel like yesterday. Uh look like I died there,” and he points to where they filmed the scene of the characters mourning Fred’s death.
@@zachboyd4749 Some people didn't like that match for whatever reason. (I've never been a big shipper in general, in any fandom.) But I thought they were perfect. He lost his family without ever even knowing them. But from the moment he & Ron met, he had a new one. I think that is so very sweet.
The twins held a huge part in harrys life at Hogwarts. Honestly they lifted his mood up beside the others and treated him as a brother. It even shows in the books because when fred died harry said it felt like the world has ended.
@@robloxman274abc exactly. Also, they didn’t include Snape’s potion puzzle in philosophers stone. They didn’t include the Troll puzzle. They changed the unbrokable vow to be requested from Narssisa and made the request be from Bellatrix . The books are far better
It shatters the heartstrings when a brother or sister dies. But I honestly cannot imagine the amount of pain one would feel if they were a twin, and one of them dies. George and Fred were always side by side, always connected. George may have gotten married to Angelina Johnson, but I’m sure he was not even close to the same George he was before. He probably never will be.
Fred’s death was one of the saddest deaths in the series. He didn’t deserve to die, he should have been able to live. I’m still so upset that he was killed off.
I heard from a friend of mine that after Fred's death George was never able to summon his patronus again because all of his happiest memories were with his brother. That scene in the great hall makes me cry every time I see it.
I love the Weasley family because they're so down to earth. They had some very real conflicts and problems at times. But you never doubted that they loved each other.
Fred and George, proof that intelligence and talent don't only reveal themselves in grades and tests. Hermione, for all her brilliance, would've never been able to do what they did, as they had to think outside the box constantly and try things which no one had done before.
It's so sad for Fred to die, he was George's other half. They are like each other's horcruxes. Great video Morgan, I loved it and Fred and George are two of my favourite characters. They are a great comedy duo.
I think everyone who fred and george had made smile (both in book and irl) will say that the death of Fred was more than a tragedy, the twins were literally the exact opposite to voldemort where they go laughter and joy always followed even during a period of mass death and chaos they ran a joke shop which not only made ppl smile but also made fun of "You Know Poo", who does love that?
When Prof Flitwick left the swamp as a monument to Fred and George, I knew then they had an affinity for magick unlike any other character in the series. I'm also realizing that Fred and George wanted to break the generational curse of poverty that was on their family. Mrs. Weasley realized this once she saw how successful they were. With Voldemort around, the Wizarding world needed Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.
I keep thinking about them transfiguring a teddy bear into a large spider as little kids! A huge bit of magic considering how difficult the characters found even simple transfiguration in the books. Especially considering Ron's fear of spiders is only triggered when spiders move, which suggests they managed to turn an inert teddy bear into a lifelike moving spider which is very advanced magic. They were basically teenie prodigies who not having their aptitude for magic stimulated enough channelled that energy into breaking rules and experimenting with magic.
book: fred and george start laughing after realising they had beards movie: they start fighting book: 'did you put your name in the goblet of fire?' asked dumbledore calmly movie: DID YOU OUT YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIYAHHH book: fred shouts across the common room to ask angelina to the yule ball movie: literally mouths the words lol book: voldemort "calmly"- wormtail, didn't i tell you to keep our guests quiet movie: WORMTAIL DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO KEEP OUR GUESTS QUIET!!!
Those Wesley Twins always made me laugh every time I see them on screen, read about them, and even think about them in general. I always loved those guys every single time with their antics and losing Fred really left me in tears. I'll always remember them for the rest of my life. Thank you Morgan for doing an amazing job as always.
Not only Morgan Ross I was like that too, imagine a father voldy😂when he can't love and he wasn't someone who like being dependent,he was a person liked being alone
This makes me realize how the entire Weasley family just basically went "we have a new Weasley, Harry Weasley" they all loved him as if he was always their family
I feel that fred and george's magical ability is one of the most underrated in the whole series. The fact that they were able to enchant the fireworks the way that they did, and almost create new, unheard of magic with their joke shop items and candies shows that, how I see it that they are very very powerful wizards, when it comes to potions and creating new magical reactions.
I think the main thing this video proved is that the movies didn't show enough of Fred and George's caring side. Yes, comic relief is fun and the twins were incredibly charming because the actors who played them were fantastic. But the books really added an extra layer to them by showing them as protective, smart, and good-natured towards their family even if there was some occasional bickering. It really makes Fred's death all the sadder when you consider those aspects, and the fact that he died right in front of members of his family. I do love them in the movies, but I feel they just had more heart in the books. And you did a great job showing that.
Especially the fact Fred's death in the book had actual speech from Ron and Percy, along with the part where Percy runs after dolohov torn apart with anger and sadness, while Harry and Hermione have to hold Ron back 😢
They were the best characters. Showing all the kids that you can make with creativity and passion. Kind of the sunshine of the books but also really brave and willing to do anything for their friends and family. Killing Fred was so unnecessary
It came out of nowhere and it broke my heart. But that's how real life can be sometimes. The grief was handled well. It's good for kids to learn to process hard things through fiction before they have to face it in real life. But that's also where it's important for parents to pre-screen things for their kids, especially younger ones. Kids are different and some may be more ready for more difficult material than others are. It's up to parents to guide them through all of this. But how many of them do?
I can't imagine Snape being referee of a quidditch match and being simultaneously hit by a bludger. Also, being saluted by the most mischievous spirit in Hogwarts is a honor.
What was worst for George was that he never was able to conjure a Patronus again because his happiest memory was his twin brother. His death broke not only the bond between twins, but also George’s love of pranking and jokes cause you can’t prank someone without a partner.
Poor George was never able to look at mirrors. There's a theory he dyed his hair different colors bc he can't stand seeing Fred when he looked in the mirror.
you got to admit. Fred & Georg were as good as voldemort when he wa a child. fred was able to do a complete transfiguration when he was angry even before being trained. he controlled his magic and used it when he wanted like young tom riddle
As a person who only watched the movies I'm sad that I just knew now how caring and loving these twins are. I've only seen glimpses on it in films and more on their naughtiness. They're my favorites huhu and Fred's death is so heartbreaking
You should listen to the audio books. 😭 There is so much more to the story. It's so layered and the movies just hardly touch on it. I still love the movies but the books is where it's at. 😍
As a person who hated Harry Potter before reading the books, I can only urge you to read (or listen to) the books. Aside from the main trio, Fred and George could be regarded as main characters - they are always there and bring so much humanity in every scene they appear in.
Fun fact the actors that played fred and george (james and oliver phelps) during the death scene james (fred) ended up falling asleep on the stage during the death scene...when he woke up the whole cast was in the middle of lunch break...and they joked saying he was in character
Sad George, Fred and Ginny story😀 A couple of days after Fred's death Ginny walks past the twins room and hears crying. She goes in to see George crying on Fred's bed. Ginny walks in and says"George... you know Fred wouldnt want this." Then George is reminded of how much Ginny is like Fred and Just hugs her....
"make way for heir of Slytherin, seriously evil wizard coming through!" "honestly women you call yourself our mother." "Don't worry Mom, ickle Ronniekins is safe with us." "Oh shut up, Weatherby." "What are Fred and I? Next door neighbours?" "Because you Perce. Their going to have little HB flags on them-" "For Humongous Big-Head." "I've always thought Fred and I should should receive an E in everything because we exceeded expectations just by turning up for the exams." "But we are not stupid, we know we are called gred and forge." "Into the cauldron handsome, into the cauldron!" "10 galleons." "Are you not currently dating dean Thomas?" "Aren't you moving through boyfriends a bit too quickly?" "Moooorning." "Don't worry Ginny, we'll send you a Hogwarts toilet seat!" In unison: "Feet off the table!" Iconic quotes
Absolutely stellar account and a fitting tribute of the Weasley Twins, Fred & George's lives. Its a real shame that George lost his twin in the battle for Hogwarts.

One of the things I found the saddest in the movies was how you just didn't see the twins relationship with Harry. I would honestly say that besides of course Ron and Hermione that the twins were two of Harry's closest friends.
And they NEVER pranked Harry

That’s just sad😅
I like to think the reasons for this are that one he had no siblings and two is because of him constantly being beaten by his cousin, Dudley.
@Santa Ñ lol

I love the Weasley family because they're so down to earth. They had some very real conflicts and problems at times. But you never doubted that they loved each other.
They got popular so fast because people needed a bit of laughter in the second wizarding war. And zonkos was shut down because of death eaters.
Why are Voldemort and his Death Eaters so Sirius?

When Prof Flitwick left the swamp as a monument to Fred and George, I knew then they had an affinity for magick unlike any other character in the series. I'm also realizing that Fred and George wanted to break the generational curse of poverty that was on their family. Mrs. Weasley realized this once she saw how successful they were. With Voldemort around, the Wizarding world needed Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.
Thanks to Harry who loaned them the money to start the business!

“I added literally every detail because if we’re being honest, that’s what Fred and George deserve”
You’re damn right they do
I feel that fred and george's magical ability is one of the most underrated in the whole series.
It being unneccessary is what made it necessary. War is painful, loss of great men happens, and he was the perfect example of that.
