when you faced the Kobold at around 47:00 you were making a pre encounter check which did not have combat in the name and as you eventually figured out you could use your thieves tools against it. Thematically I think of it as after you killed the skeleton you had to get through a trap before finally reaching the Kobold
Thanks for reminding me I still have Pathfinder ACG Rise of the Runelords sitting on my shelf of shame. Will give it a try and decide whether I will keep this game or not. Wondering if this new edition improves the experience (or not)...
Massively improved IMO
Of course, I understand that enough time has passed, but since you have probably been playing the game for a long time, I have a question for you, is there enough cards in the game (taking into account the dls) for various combinations / assemblies and at least so that they do not repeat. I may be wrong in the text)
You will come across the same monsters and items if you play it enough, but do I think there is enough cards to make it interesting. Yes, absolutely.
@@GamingRulesVideos Thank you for the answer, unfortunately, we have few review and gameplay for the game in Russia.. If it's not difficult, can you answer a few more questions? Personally, your opinion about the game after the passage, would you recommend buying it? And as I understand the replayability of the game is good?
On the re-roll do you get to use all the same dice? You blessed the first roll but does that blessing apply to the re-roll?
I think so!
yes it does - reroll means all the dice are rolled again. If it had been a subsequent check (which it wasn't) then you would have needed to apply cards again so a second blessing would have been necessary.
What is the difference between the vault and all the other cards in the box and how do I separate them?
The vault is the cards I am currently using. Everything else is "future stuff". The game gives you instructions on what makes up the vault (you start off with only cards of level 0&1, but if you check my later playthroughs, I have now added in the level 2 cards.
