Any good shirt brands to recommend?
I'd like to share a tip I just recently discovered. I love my linen sport coats. We took the hangers out, left the cleaners plastic on the jackets, laid a double long cleaner plastic half in the suitcase, then placed the jackets on that plastic in their own plastic, and then folded the last half of the long plastic over the top. I've done this twice, and the linen sport coats come out of the suitcase with no wrinkles!

Linen is great for the summer very comfortable and cool. Linen suits are also great when you have to dress up a bit.
If you have removable insoles, you can put your no show sock around it with the opening underneath. That way, you have the bottom of the sock against your foot. Absorbs sweat, more comfortable, etc.

I’m a 42 year old guy who lives in Miami Florida in sweltering heat and so many fashion guys are focused for people that live in the north east, northwest, or in colder climates! I’ve found it a challenge to dress well and stylish when it’s 90° F and humid outside!

I am relieved that summer is over in my area. Previously, we experienced temperatures as high as 130 degrees with 60 to 80 percent humidity. One would start sweating immediately after showering!

John, this time of year is great .. i like the look of a polo combined with linen pants. Almost as cool as wearing shorts. Maybe there are some linen blends that don't wrinkle as much? Everyone's wearing relaxed shoes with linen, have you seen how good leather loafers look with linen pants? Finally, synthetic materials are awful in the heat.
Just bought a Charles Tyrwhitt linen shirt online pale blue slim fit size large £50 I’m not thrilled with it and prefer my £20 cheap H&M linen shirt which fits me better and the linen material is much thinner.
I do not wear “no show socks” if I’m going sockless I put a cork insole in my loafers to absorb the sweat.
I really appreciate this video and most importantly, its timing, with summer right around the corner. I have a moral dilemma when it comes to shoes. Can you recommend a good summer shoe that is stylish yet isn’t made from animal products (i.e. leather, suede, etc.)? Maybe a brand or material? Thank you!
I would have to recommend something in a vegan leather. There are lots out there to choose from.

Yes, a darker shirt and shoes would look great. Darker shades of brown might be my first choice, but if you wanted to, you could also go with a off-white or chalk color suede loafer like I showed in the video. I put the links to the loafers in the description.

How do you personally keep dark colors from fading in the wash or do you dry clean your dark clothing?
Dry clean and use woolite for darks.
I wash everything in cold, and either flat-dry, or cool dryer.

A suggestion that ‘No Show’ socks will show with loafers….I look for ‘Liner Socks’. They are much more low profile….

What’s with the 20 year old models-over 40?
Be careful I just purchased from John Henric, the sizing is European, they have a conversion chart, but it can be confusing. My shirts are small and pants too big. They don't do exchanges, you have to return the product, and wait for the refund, then you have to repurchase. If you got it on sale and it is now full price, oh well. Additionally, you have to pay $20 to ship the item back. Quality was good, but customer service is lacking, making someone pay to return the item and then repurchase the item doesn't sit well with me.
