Most unusual version of swipe technique I've seen. Result is wondrous.
I'm glad you are branching out cause Im curio what your recipe would be like if used for other than just bloom pours. Being on disability (for now, hopefully) I am financially on a tight budget and as much as I find your blooms absolutely gorgeous, I can't afford to take your class for just one type of pour. So I've been waiting to see what other then blooms your recipe can achieve. Your enthusiasm was funny and great first try. I look forward to your second attempt.

I found some of your work on Pinterest and Idk why Pinterest confuses me so much so I looked you up on UA-cam and this was the first video I watched. You had me and my mom cracking up 😂 because this is how we are with every type of pour we do but especially when we first tried to do a swipe haha the only difference is yours turned out a masterpiece and ours did not😆 🤦♀️ Anywho, all your work is beyond gorgeous and just subscribed❤

the only issues for me (french)are finding the same type of products in Europe but it can be done I’m sure…

The swipes are easy in a way but also weird as we tend to want to keep changing them.

I liked the white line, gave it some character. you could also tried using spaghetti or something to swirl around in that spot you dripped paint on the canvas. Looked nice tho. good job

I've been wondering the same thing (I'm in the UK), but Erika uses Arteza paints which are available in Europe and the UK (and America and, I believe, Canada), and are at least one thing I won't have to buy as I already have them, hooray! As for the rest of the things, Erika has managed to find acceptable substitutes in Ireland so I'm sure we shouldn't have too much trouble. Good luck. I plan to sign up too, as soon as I can make space to work. Currently I can't see my craft room for all the canvases and other stuff piled high everywhere and even finding somewhere to put my feet down when walk in there is a problem!
This technique is beautiful, but wastes a lot of ink! do you do something with what is on the table?
How and whit what do you protect finish your bloom ...

with such an expense in paint, this reminds me of my beginning pours...you just never know how it will turn out...I'm not being critical bc as we both know, you just never know. Which is why I like to have more control of the outcome. I am wondering what would happen if before you tilt, you try and use more of the basecoat as an infusion under the other paint. I just personally don't like the "all over" look of all the paint tilted off. It reminds me of the flip cups when this first started. However, perhaps people will start experimenting with this technique and maybe use a squeeze bottle to squeeze some paint under the other parts, such as another artist (Elyse Fournier)) does. It could be very interesting
