I’m truly inspired seeing you do this on you’re own. Been doing this for about 8 years now (24years old) and debating doing my own thing. That seems to be where the real money is at. Keep up the good work your installs are great.
its been 5 years for me , ive tried climbing up the ladder from being a tech and installer and its truly better. it is a lot like he said , just by looking how to start it up is already hard enough but you will make a hella lot more and be glad you have come a long way
this industry is rapidly changing and education is key, much of the new equipment is VRV and this is the future, don't be afraid of technology as there is no end to it in this trade. stay focused and don't do shoddy work and your reputation will preceed you...good luck!
This install made me realize that there's definitely more to HVACR than there is to Electrical. (Which is obvious but seeing it all put together helps out so much!). I'm transitioning from the Electrical field to HVACR, and I can't wait!! This looks like more of a similarity to installing computers and stuff vs just running wires and making splices. Can't wait to learn it all!!!
So awesome to see someone that still takes pride in their work! Watching you work was such a breath of fresh air. Reminds me of us good installers out there.
I watched a couple of your videos now I'm new in the trade 3 years experience your videos are great learning opportunities. I also like how you actually care about the work you do and you do a great job.
I love how the salesman makes $7000 and pays 2 sub guys $600 to do it for him. Hvac is the greatest lifestyle ever. If uncle sam only knew. $$$$$$$$$$ shwooo! Great video's brother.
Man that was a quality install. Duct cover looked great and I really like the metal conduit on the electrical. Honestly, I would have probably ran liquid-tight the whole way from the panel and strapped it to the wall but it looks so much better with that metal conduit. The attention to detail on your jobs is impressive and moving around heavy package units by yourself is also impressive. Keep up the good work. You earned a subscriber for sure.
Love the single piece of metal covering holes for fork lift in the back of unit only. Definitely doing that from now on. Doing this 9 years and hes still taking me to school.
He didn't show the part where his cell phone is ringing off the hook all day long while he's trying to hurry up and finish the install and get to the next 6 calls that have been waiting all day. Don't try this in south Florida. Haha..... (Very nice install though)👍
@@gery_3585 Florida is hot so a lot of refrigeration units on houses and In businesses. 0% state income tax, cheaper than the other major states and it's fucking Florida. I'm trying to think of a reason not to go.
Beautiful work. We have package units in our neighbor hood built in the mid 60's. Over unders so we have to have adapters now. Wish you were in my area for my next install.
Beautiful job as always Zach. I would stay away from Ameristar. Your gonna have a hard time finding parts. Hey man I know it’s a package unit but still put you a SS1 float switch in the drain line. That’s the bad thing about package units if that drain stops up no one will ever know and it will soak the inside of that unit for god knows how long.
1:45 Made in China - a VERY BAD sign. Americans out of work, junk quality with no spare parts. "Ameristar" made in China - another "American" out of work.
I’ve watched lots of tradies work ver my time and you do good work. Things like using a level during your work shows you take pride in what you do. Well done.
So I was just trying to research how to clean by dual system came across your video, literally have no intention of every learning to install but I could not stop watching...your attention to detail was amazing! Awesome work I subscribed just because I hope it supports this channel. Awesome job..now if you could post how to clean one of these I'd love you lol
Just found your videos bro I’m 22 and just getting into the trade I finished school and have started with a company doing installs and just wanna say bro thanks for all the tips n trick still learning a bunch man keep dropping vids 💪🏽💪🏽
I really like the plenum shield u put over the sq to rnd takeoffs. U do it do smooth your making our job look too easy! Great job, we hardly have any package units on ground but we do have a ton of RTU’S here in Connecticut.
I’ve only been in the trade less than 2 years, got in as a service tech with no install at all. Enjoy your install videos and seeing the process of it.
Solid channel my guy, I can imagine how much effort it takes to work and make videos and maintain a YT channel but dont stop, hopefully you reach 100k in no time 🔥
You do QUALITY WORK... I recognize that... I am the same way. I think Heat Pumps put double duty on the compressor... and I will never have another one... here in Florida.
Excellent! I was wondering how this was done. That said, it would have been nice to have some annotations on the video, like at 1:58 where you attach the strip at the base of the unit, ostensibly to seal the holes down there...but why and did that strip come with the unit?
Beautiful work, in NC we’re required to have 4 sided rain shields. But I like how you sealed up those penetrations on the metal base. I’m waiting to see how you install a split gas system in an attic by yourself? 😅
I cant say this enough, your editing and camerea skills are on point dude, will you adopt me and teach me your ways, lol-- but seriously good stuff bro. The shots for those 3-5 second camera changes are awesome
Awesome work man! Loving these videos. You are Putting in work planning out all these different shots during your installs. Paying off for a great final production! 👍
My duct work came unattached from the unit. It sets on concrete. With about 8 inches hole on each side. So I can see where the cats have been jumping down on top of the duct. Is it easier to pull the unit out or crawl under the trailor. Note , there are low beams in front of the unit and the space becomes very difficult to move around if I go under. Nice work man!
We have a 3' break that is light and super easy to set up. When I'm doing any kind of feild fab I just take it and set it up onsite. Works really good for me
Hope they got their defrost board problems fixed, they were a big issue about 2 years ago and the wait time for one was like 4 months because there was such a demand for them.
Nice to see someone still cares and has pride in their work
Top notch 👌
56 years old hvac mech you have a great work ethics and attention to detail.

It just depends on the drive. It takes alot of patience and working by yourself. I love it. I very seldom hire a helper. Really depends on the job.
I'm thinking about this too except i've only got a year under my belt and i'm only 21
Just do it.

I’m really impressed with how clean this guy installs everything. Zero corners were cut, that’s quality that will last!

Great job on the install! Wondering where you got the cart? Could you share the brand?

And he even put a level on the conduit
You make this look so easy: short, simple and to the point! Your attention to detail for the client is fantastic!
Your dedication to Hvac is awesome!
This is the guy you want to be working on your system. Everything he touched was left in better condition than it was when he arrived.
Love the single piece of metal covering holes for fork lift in the back of unit only. Definitely doing that from now on. Doing this 9 years and hes still taking me to school.
I've been in the trade for 15 years. You are an absolute weapon doing such a sexy install. On point

That's working for your self nothing like it. Set the pace and yep your right time is money.
Kevin Martin and clean work is more customers
Hey dude i would have a few question about Florida’s hvac business

Very nice install great attention to detail its nice to see a owner taking pride in his work great job
The quality of your craftsmanship is awesome. I appreciate the attention to detail. I never thought about the tape trick
That multiple wire pull through the conduit was satisfying
Awesome work, love your workmanship!!! I don't get impressed too often, but I am impressed with your work!!!
Love the attention to detail, you have the sexiest installs in the HVAC UA-cam community
Lmao 😂 I feel this

Need to know how or where to get dolly and sheet metal hole punch. Good looking install. Must of had a good teacher
I am also interested in the dolly, you share the information when you get it please. mundohvac@gmail.com Thank you
You can get a cheaper punch at harbor freight.
I'm interested in the dolly for the new unit as well. Seanmenser2000@yahoo.com
You have a video on his channel about the dolly , it's DIY.
Awesome video I like how you used a hole punch for the cover. Everything I saw helps thank you.
Solid channel my guy, I can imagine how much effort it takes to work and make videos and maintain a YT channel but dont stop, hopefully you reach 100k in no time 🔥

Super clean install, you made it look easy. By yourself too, at my company that's a two guy job.
Great job, that house is a walk in freezer now👍❄
And galvanized conduit? Yeah you’re good 👍👍 quality work
Very clean, beautiful work. I love the Ameristar equipment but I am looking forward to the Runtru package unit release date as well.

What was the total SP on unit with existing duct work? Clean install.
Good looking changeout man
Very impressive. One man show. Inspiring.👍🏻
Nice job!
FYI, if you're that adamant about having clean lines, painters tape is significantly cheaper than AL tape....
Sponsored tape....free!!
