That's why Dark Souls is such an amazing work of art.... They literally didn't have time or resources to do exactly what they wanted to, however it continues to influence modern games so much to this day.
I will admit in my first play through, I died to pinwheel five times. I did the catacombs skip where you take a bunch of fall damage and couldn’t find a fire keepers soul so so I used a ton of my estus and had like none left for it. Now I’ve platinum the game and I look back on it and laugh.

*Regarding Iron Golem's grab attack. Note that he does reach a little behind his legs. This is because, if you remain between his legs or behind him, none of his other attacks can harm you except that weird one where he joins his legs and wabbles before striking with his axe. Both attacks are well telegraphed and you will be safe if you get away from him when you recognize his legs are touching each other or he's raising his hand for the grab. Again, the grab is designed to catch you if you if you're beneath or behind him. *As for Seath's cursing crystals, just wear Dusk's dress (Antiquated Set) and become a pretty princcess to kill the kidnapping dragon, or put on the Cursebite Ring. *I think Gwyn is a good challenge if you don't (or can't) parry him. By this point you already defeated O&S, Artorias, Manus, you have endgame gear and two of the five Black Knights in the runback consistently drop Titanite Chunks. He isn't supposed to be the hardest boss for lore reasons, but he's still supposed to be reasonably hard. He's the final boss, after all. And I actually like his aggressiveness and how he leaves small openings for healing, it forces you to use the arena to your advantage (hiding behind one of the ground protusions) and to punish certain moves (like the grab) by either healing or landing one or two free hits. *Did you know that after you kill any of the other 3 bosses of the DLC, the Sanctuary Guardian respawns? Well, actually it's two of them. They are individually weaker than the boss version, but fighting two of them at the same time is interesting given how aggresive and fast they are. And, since you never really come back to the initial bonfire and into his arena after reaching Oolacile Sanctuary or Township, I feel many people don't know about this secret mini-boss. *I always had difficulty with O&S, Gwyn (no parry) and Manus (and Kalameet before I learned how to fight him). When I finally "got gud" and managed to kill Manus and Gwyn 1st try for the first time, it was the best feeling in the world. I still have never beaten O&S first try though, hahah. The closest I've come was 5th try and more recently 3rd (would have been 2nd if I wasn't blind and try to roll back against the wall). But spacial awareness is the factor that makes this fight fair and entertaining. I also feel the fight varies a bit in difficulty depending on the order you kill them. It's easier to kill Ornstein first because he has less HP and helps you by separating himself from Smough when he dashes across the arena. So it's easier because he's fast and can momentarily turn the fight back to a 1-v-1.
Wtf! Im on my ng+ playthrough and wanted this exact kind of video as background noise and found it 33 minutes after it was uploaded lol. It was destined to be
I sadly didnt get the chance to participate (and i havent played demon souls) but i think ill enjoy the video regardless! Always a good day when you upload!
Personally, I have made several attempts at Ceaseless where he refuses to dangle from that ledge and just walls me in at the entrance and continually shoots his fire laser at me. That's a death sentence, and as near as I can tell what I'm doing is no different than when it works properly. As for the 4 Kings... I've tried and tried but the only way I have ever been able to beat them is with Havel's Armor on. As far as I can tell their attack hit boxes are bullshit. Definitely my hardest boss in the game.

Love your content, man. Keep up the great work! I haven’t fought manus yet, but I think Kalameet is harder than Artorias and O&S.
i totally agree with the comment about Sif (and Priscilla); due to emotional difficulty i would rank Sif at least 8/10 (after DLC); before DLC I would still rank her not too low because of my history with her, Sif beeing the first Boss i really felt like discovering on my first playthrough after giving away 10,000 runes to enter the area and stumbling around darkroot garden, fighting off the npc specters and the giant cats beeing way too underleveld before finding a huge ominously glowing door in the dephts of the garden and having my first true epic souls fight against the big grey wolf; i remember getting her down to low health when she starts limping, not feeeling sorry but relieved, like a hunter bringing down his prey.... or something like that, nowadays i cant get myself to kill her without crying like a baby
I envy you for having one less distraction to worry about when dealing with Quelaag. Her fight overall is pretty solid, yeah. Very fair telegraphs, and resectable damage. Having grown up with platformers, Bed of Chaos wasn't too bad, but platforming feels uncomfortable, and out of place in Soulsborne. My friend who was never good at platformers, he absolutely despised the fight more than I did. It also is so funny to me to think about that Super Mario would absolutely trivialize Bed of Chaos. One bing bing wahoo and he basically wins.
I can really relate to people going (back) to DS from Elden Ring. Not having played it for years a few days ago I struggled even with Undead Burg because my rolls didn’t do what I expected them to. And the amount of times I pressed the „jump“ button or attempted heavy sprint attacks is almost embarrassing. The hardest boss for me is accepting the game for what it is. It used to be Manus and might still be if I ever get there again.
The commenters for gwyndolin are men/women of culture yet i also find it funny that Priscilla comment were actually normal but gwydolins were so..down bad
Most bosses you can wear heavy armor and tank through everything. Barely need to dodge. I light roll for Manus though lol Edit: I started with Elden Ring too and had a hard time DS1. The longer recovery frames took me forever to get used to. Shields are more useful than dodging sometimes. In DS1 you really can’t over commit and have to pick your shots. Or wear havels and cheese. Medium roll feels terrible at first too. Love the game though! I’m very use to it now.
As someone who got Manus first try due to the preparation I needed to defeat other bosses I’d say #3 Manus, he’s fast and erratic but not unmanageable. #2 Kalameet, he requires precise timing to avoid hits and punishes slower builds but he can bleed and a player can punish him if they traded Artorias’ soul to his companion for the best dex weapons in the game. #1 is Artorias for me. I had to gather so many resources, farm Black Knights to upgrade and retire my Quelaag sword and it still took me a few dozen fights to beat this monster of an equipment synergy check boss fight.
42:27 I'm actually going to disagree with the comment about rolling, the gargoyles can easily be blocked with a shield (I found this out after trying to beat the fight with a Zwei while fat rolling), and Taurus can just be ran back and forth while you climb up to get plunging attacks. Although I wouldn't really say the fight highlights rolling, but it can be trivialized if you just have some poise. As you said the entire fight is basically done once you get up the stairs, if you buy or find armor pieces, you can most likely take one or two hits from the dogs and just sprint past everything. Chain set is very cheap and accessible early on, and although they are a little deep in, Knight and Elite Knight set in Darkroot are free as well. You can also just wear Balder Knight or Hollow pieces with some poise to get by.
14:47 me pulling a spongebob and going 'There I am Gary there I am!' I have yet to fight Priscilla for that exact reason. I feel like an asshole every time I even go *in* there, like I'm pestering her or bothering everyone in there or something, and to follow up on that by *slaughtering the docile dragon inside* is just...no! I'm not gonna! I have yet to beat the difficulty check that is *swinging my goddamn sword* so she'll go on to forever be the hardest boss to me.
Cool video, i'm surprised with some of the spots in this video, i expected Nito to be lower, just becuase he is way too incompetent, and bosses like Moonlight butterfly apeared lower than i expected, yes Moonlight butterfly is pretty easy, but not a pushover, the Magic can be challenging to Dodge and hits decently hard Also: 58:15 my comentary about kalameet made It into the video ! The bad hitboxs specially comes out of those neck attacks, as well as the double hitboxs, which can potencially one shot you, still a very good Boss, but those Magic resistances and being imposible to face tank even with full havel's makes this Boss the hardest ( and i regret giving manus a 10, i should gave gave him a 9, wouldn't really make a diference though
I will say with Four Kings a new game I agree with you on their dps check point. Where they get bs is on ng+. They become just far too much of a health pool where they just get too tanky to bother anymore. Also the run back is annoying as hell.
I get a lot of requests to do weapon rankings. My concern is that I'd probably have to rank based off of design, not functionality, because I'm the type of player to barely experiment with the weapons I use in actual combat ^^
I can finally say proudly i finished dark souls 1 and what a journey it was. Based on my deaths i would say my top five is: Honorable mention gwin. 5. bell gargoyles mainly because i was with the first weapon and hadnt upgraded it. 4. Artorias probably my favourite duel in the game. 3. Ornstein and smough also apparently ornstein is the tougher opponent in the second phase but i fought him nonetheless xd. 2. Khalamede like first 5 times combined i hit him only once and that was with a bow xDD 1. Manus holy shit i lost my crap in this boss fight. I guess its pretty close to the list
Did a tanky boi run of DS1 last year after multiple years away from the game. Get the Demon's Greathammer at the start by spanking Asylum Demon for 20 minutes, use the Zwiehander until I could use the hammer, thiccest armor possible, get Iron Flesh as quickly as possible and then never dodge anything ever again. Either take it, strafe or take it while strafing. Being able to outDPS Manus and not be threatened by his dark magic save for the shotgun blast since it does physical damage was great. Made him one of the easier bosses in the game.
And then there's me, who had the hardest time of all bosses with Deacons of the Deep, taking me two days. Gael? 4 tries Midir? 8. Abyss Watchers? 2 The entirety of Dark Souls 2, 1 or 2 tries. Deacons? I don't even know how many. Three or four dozen?
The different experiences are always interesting with these. The 4 kings to me were very easy to kill 1 by 1 and somehow I died a few times to Queenlag. More times that Ornstein and Smough 😂
In my humble opinion: From easiest to hardest - Pinwheel - Ceaseless Discharge - Asylum Demon - Moonlight Butterfly - Gaping Dragon - Taurus Demon - Crossbreed Priscilla - Stray Demon - Firesage Demon - Centipede Demon - Iron Golem - Bell Gargoyles - Chaos Witch Queelag - Dark Sun Gwyndolin (Can be a real pain the first few tries, until you're good at the fight) - Sanctuary Guardian - Capra Demon (That goddamn arena and low early game HP) - Gwyn, Lord of Cinder (Only a joke if you can parry) - Great Wolf Sith - Gravelord Nito - Bed of Chaos (If you try to do it in one without quitting in and out) - Ornstein and Smough - Four Kings - Knight Artorios - Black Dragon Kalameet - Manus, Father of the Abyss
Well, yes. But so are most of DS1's bosses so they land in 4th more by default. And NG+ they become a pain in the ass, unless you go full Havel.@@sammathis6634
For me the hardest boss is Four Kings. Partly because the only bosses I did before it in my second play through were Sif Pinwheel and Asylum demon, but unlike other hard bosses, I actually struggled with them in my first play through.
I've never parried Gwyn, and I thought he gave me more trouble when I did a Dark Souls race with my LP friend earlier this year, but looking back at the footage I actually only died twice on him and Bed of Chaos, whereas I died three times on Ornstein & Smough. (We skipped the DLC, much to my chagrin, he's somehow not a fan of any of the DLC bosses.) EDIT: actually I'm blind, I did die three times to Gwyn, meaning he tied with O&S for killing me.
There is a remedy to the fall damage issue with Stray and Nito. Either getting the cat ring or that one spell that does the same thing (yes, even as a melee). Though I don't remember how easy they're to get.
It's a remedy, but one that shouldn't need to exist in the first place. No other boss in the entire franchise does the fall damage into the arena shtick.
I usually like for people to rank based on NG, since that's what the majority of players are interested in. But I also think if the change in NG+ or ++ is extremely major, it should be factored in
None of the bosses in this game gave me too much trouble, however Nito is when I learned that if you dont have poise you will just get stun locked into oblivion by the minions...
Its just so crazy how skewed difficulty can be for people I genuinely thought moonlight butterfly was harder than capra demon because mb had one attack i was way too stupid to dodge apparently(the one with the fast projectiles)
I just want to say my first playthrough was actually my easiest. I got beginners luck and was able to get the black knight sword and I pretty much just chunked everything once I beat the dlc and Gwyn I had a friend tell me I got lucky with the sword dropping so what did I do I made a new toon and played again this time I used a dex build and I saw bosses much differently and for me I found Kalameet as the hardest boss for me as I just could not time that grab
Ever thought about doing a ranking for every ending in each Souls game? Not just going "DS3's endings are better than DS2's" but ranking each one from each game, against each one from every other game
There are four categories for me though hardest easiest , worst and Favourite, and for DS1 it's like this: Easiest: Pinwheel Hardest: Manus ( Ornstein and Smoug are really close though) Favourite: Knight Artorias Worst: Bed of Chaos
I think the overall ranking is right, but I really disagree with the top 5, after beating the game 20+ times my top ten would be like this: 1.Kalameet (Between this and the rest of the bosses I think is a big jump of difficulty, if I start a new game or go to the next NG+ cycle, Kalameet is the only one that is very likely to kill me) 2.Artorias 3.Ornstein & Smough 4.Bed of Chaos (One of the most unfair fights, and even though it isn't a good boss, it should be here) 5.Manus (It has never been that hard for me, my first time I didn't even get the pendant and still defeated him in like the third try) 6.Gwyn (Until recently, it would actually had been higher. It took me like 10+ times beating the game to be good at it. For me it almost a perfect boss, the fight, the design and the lore are amazing, I actually would like him to be unparryable). 7.Sanctuary Guardian 8.Quelaag 9.Bell Gargoyles 10. Seath (It is hear if trying to cut the tail, and I always cut the tail, so...)
Also, is really that many people saying that DS1 isn't difficult? Even though it is the game I've played the most of all the FromSoftware games, I still think DS1 is harder than DS3 and DS2.
For me, a player who is new to souls and has only beaten ds1 once and completed Elden ring. I found Artorias and Manus by far the most difficult on the game, from taking hours to beat artorias to then beat Kalameet first time. This to me is unexplainable. Personally Artorias is the best fight on the game.
You may be immune to Quelaag's spiditties, but it's balanced out by your thirst for Artorias. I, a 100000 IQ bisexual am just bad at the whole game because of it
For me, Manus was easier than Artorias, and I messed up and fought him a full NG+ cycle ahead of Artorias. Artorias just kicked my teeth in. It's kinda ironic, as Artorias is my favorite boss.a
When the fuck does the Asylum Demon have an attack that swings the hammer behind it? The only thing it does is go into the air and slam down or turn around, never does it do a behind the back hammer swing. Also, it isn’t hard to kill it before getting the actual weapon, it just takes a long time. How is Ceaseless the last of the push over bosses when you haven’t mentioned either the Taurus or Capra Demons yet? Both you can plunge attack to death in like 2-3 hits, and it is easy to dodge past the dogs at the beginning of Capra’s arena, and once the dogs are dead, you can even easily fight without plunge attacks. Taurus is also easy to fight without the plunge attack. Moonlight Butterfly wasn’t hard, just annoying, and the commenter was right, it is a lot of waiting and dodging with no range attack. The gargoyles do have my number, I don’t think I have beat them without summoning. Unfortunately those are the only ones I have fought.
Seath, HOO boy, I hate him. And really, it’s MY fault for going for the Greatsword. Without that factoring in, he’s a joke, even wielding the Moonlight Butterfly’s Horn(pure magic damage), he’s so easy! Still hate him.
I think if I were a bigger UA-camr, yeah. But because my sample size is quite small, I think a majority of the voters genuinely went with their own experiences and not what big UA-camrs say.
Personally, I don't think any of the bosses are too fast for DS1, but it's probably because I always play with the light roll; the DS1 mid roll is pure dogshit. Manus maybe pushes it to the limit, and would fit well in DS3, but he still wasn't particularly hard even on my first go. Kalameet is the most overrated boss difficulty-wise for me, as I would at most give him a 6 out of 10; first time beat him on the second try with a weapon that was doing inadequate damage.
Nah, Four Kings' difficulty lives and dies by the poise mechanic (the reason I think DS1 is the easiest of the trilogy even). The gap in difficulty between low and high poise in Four Kings is the same as early vs mid game Pinwheel. It's night and day.
I think you have to consider many casual players, myself included, wouldn't even know what poise is on a first playthrough. It's a stat that you likely wouldn't even look up unless you notice an item that buffs it, or you've beaten the game beforehand.
I know just one more subscriber isn't a lot but I hope it helps. I may not know you are seen any of your videos before but ❤love❤ you good. ( No not in THAT way ) Keep up the good content and I hope you have a amazing day👋
My easiest boss was The Taurus demon I mean come on he's pathetically unoriginal he's boring he's a basic enemy and then later in the Demon Ruins there's like 100 of him
In the context of most enemies in early Dark Souls, I wouldn't call him basic. And I wouldn't consider the Demon Ruins a reason to knock the original fight, when it's very clear that had FromSoft had the time to develop Lost Izalith properly, that wouldn't have happened.
Capra demon is literally hard on accident. The dogs weren't even supposed to spawn with the fight, their respawning flags are just programmed wrong. However, I beat it on my first try on my first ever playthrough, it being my first souls game. It's not that hard imo, genuinely. I did know to dodge to the stairs, but I think the arena telegraphs that pretty well, and you can usually take a hit. It's literally just luck. If you get bad dog locations, you lose. If you don't, you win. That's not difficult, it's just random.
Re: Stray Demon - there's also forced fall damage when entering the Ruin Sentinels fight, too. Which is why both are among my least favorite boss fights 😅 I'd rank Gwyndolin higher personally, but that's because I'm trash as dodging his attacks 🤣
If Bed of Chaos was in Elden Ring, it would be completely trivial. Not just because the average difficulty in the game is higher, but because it actually has a jump button. If the game just had a jump button it would be an easy boss.

The only thing i can think of why there was those spicy comentaries is becuase bill is gay
Most bosses you can wear heavy armor and tank through everything. Barely need to dodge. I light roll for Manus though lol
Edit: I started with Elden Ring too and had a hard time DS1. The longer recovery frames took me forever to get used to. Shields are more useful than dodging sometimes. In DS1 you really can’t over commit and have to pick your shots. Or wear havels and cheese. Medium roll feels terrible at first too. Love the game though! I’m very use to it now.
YES new upload
Love your content, please do a dark souls 2 version of this!
Dark Souls II Community Ranking is coming in February. Doing Demon's Souls next month, Bloodborne in January ^^
14:47 me pulling a spongebob and going 'There I am Gary there I am!'
I have yet to fight Priscilla for that exact reason.
I think this is the first time I've been featured in any youtube video.
Cool video, i'm surprised with some of the spots in this video, i expected Nito to be lower, just becuase he is way too incompetent, and bosses like Moonlight butterfly apeared lower than i expected, yes Moonlight butterfly is pretty easy, but not a pushover, the Magic can be challenging to Dodge and hits decently hard
Also: 58:15 my comentary about kalameet made It into the video !
But I also might be the only one who prefers giant Ornstein to giant Smough :/
Runback is not that hard though. You can run through the entire length all the way to boss room.
@@nayyarrashid4661 depends on your build on whether or not the run back is hard
Billy dropped another masterpiece LET'S GOOO
Would you consider doing a "best boss weapon" list in a souls game of your choice
I get a lot of requests to do weapon rankings. My concern is that I'd probably have to rank based off of design, not functionality, because I'm the type of player to barely experiment with the weapons I use in actual combat ^^
@@BillySYT yeah it will take a long time to rank the wepons functionally
Ranking the designs will be good enough
DS2 clears all, so many good boss weapons.
Pinwheel oneshot me quite a few times, the bastard
I can finally say proudly i finished dark souls 1 and what a journey it was. Based on my deaths i would say my top five is:
Honorable mention gwin.
5. bell gargoyles mainly because i was with the first weapon and hadnt upgraded it.
4. Artorias probably my favourite duel in the game.
3. Ornstein and smough also apparently ornstein is the tougher opponent in the second phase but i fought him nonetheless xd.
2. Khalamede like first 5 times combined i hit him only once and that was with a bow xDD
So amazing :)))))
And then there's me, who had the hardest time of all bosses with Deacons of the Deep, taking me two days.
Gael? 4 tries
Midir? 8.
Abyss Watchers? 2
The entirety of Dark Souls 2, 1 or 2 tries.
Deacons? I don't even know how many. Three or four dozen?
You need a much wider sword that has a sweep attack for crowd control.
I’m that one guy that ranked torus demon a 9/10 in difficulty
The different experiences are always interesting with these. The 4 kings to me were very easy to kill 1 by 1 and somehow I died a few times to Queenlag. More times that Ornstein and Smough 😂
In my humble opinion:
From easiest to hardest
- Pinwheel
- Ceaseless Discharge
- Asylum Demon
- Moonlight Butterfly
- Gaping Dragon
- Taurus Demon
- Crossbreed Priscilla
- Stray Demon
- Firesage Demon
- Centipede Demon
- Iron Golem
- Bell Gargoyles
- Chaos Witch Queelag
- Dark Sun Gwyndolin (Can be a real pain the first few tries, until you're good at the fight)
- Sanctuary Guardian
- Capra Demon (That goddamn arena and low early game HP)
- Gwyn, Lord of Cinder (Only a joke if you can parry)
- Great Wolf Sith
- Gravelord Nito
- Bed of Chaos (If you try to do it in one without quitting in and out)
- Ornstein and Smough
- Four Kings
- Knight Artorios
- Black Dragon Kalameet
- Manus, Father of the Abyss
Four Kings is super easy
Well, yes. But so are most of DS1's bosses so they land in 4th more by default. And NG+ they become a pain in the ass, unless you go full Havel.@@sammathis6634
53:54 bro got taken into the shadow realm😭
DS2 bosses when?
DS2 will be in February. Demon's Souls in December, Bloodborne in January, DS2 in February ^^
@@BillySYT DS3? 🥶
For me the hardest boss is Four Kings. Partly because the only bosses I did before it in my second play through were Sif Pinwheel and Asylum demon, but unlike other hard bosses, I actually struggled with them in my first play through.
I had to use Havels armor against the 4 kings on my ng+3 because man they do a lot of damage
You need to stay close to them.
I didn’t have the chance to die to the Taurus demon. I got hit once and then it jumped off the wall
Ruh roh raggy, got a long one here
I've never parried Gwyn, and I thought he gave me more trouble when I did a Dark Souls race with my LP friend earlier this year, but looking back at the footage I actually only died twice on him and Bed of Chaos, whereas I died three times on Ornstein & Smough. (We skipped the DLC, much to my chagrin, he's somehow not a fan of any of the DLC bosses.)
EDIT: actually I'm blind, I did die three times to Gwyn, meaning he tied with O&S for killing me.
@@BillySYT That's true. Fair point.
This will be great. I was a bit torn for the hardest, wasn't sure whether to go off NG or NG+.
New Game. Obviously. Because that's how 99% of playthroughs are going to be playing the game
@samlewis6487 suppose. NG, for me it was between O&S or Artorias
I usually like for people to rank based on NG, since that's what the majority of players are interested in. But I also think if the change in NG+ or ++ is extremely major, it should be factored in
@BillySYT I was a NG+ cycle at the time and it was fresh in my mind how annoying the Four Kings were 😅
None of the bosses in this game gave me too much trouble, however Nito is when I learned that if you dont have poise you will just get stun locked into oblivion by the minions...
Its just so crazy how skewed difficulty can be for people
I genuinely thought moonlight butterfly was harder than capra demon because mb had one attack i was way too stupid to dodge apparently(the one with the fast projectiles)
Sif is hard because the fight makes you blind with tears
Edit: lmao I made this before I watched I’m glad you mentioned it
Ever thought about doing a ranking for every ending in each Souls game? Not just going "DS3's endings are better than DS2's" but ranking each one from each game, against each one from every other game
The hardest for me was Manus, great video Billy S 😊
There are four categories for me though hardest easiest , worst and Favourite, and for DS1 it's like this:
Easiest: Pinwheel
Hardest: Manus ( Ornstein and Smoug are really close though)
Favourite: Knight Artorias
Worst: Bed of Chaos
Is it me or someone because why do I hear the weird sound from the background.
How did I miss this, I have so many bad opinions
I advertised it for like two weeks at the end of October ;w;
I should have subscribed and turned on notifications
this will probs be the highest BOC will ever be in a ranking video unless its a lore ranking vid
As gough would say, Very good vidéo
Hey, how come I missed the vote, wanted to take part af
You can take part in the Demon's Souls vote if you feel like it ^^
@@BillySYT I would gladly do so, but unfortunately I've never played Demon's Souls
I think the overall ranking is right, but I really disagree with the top 5, after beating the game 20+ times my top ten would be like this:
1.Kalameet (Between this and the rest of the bosses I think is a big jump of difficulty, if I start a new game or go to the next NG+ cycle, Kalameet is the only one that is very likely to kill me)
2.Artorias
3.Ornstein & Smough
4.Bed of Chaos (One of the most unfair fights, and even though it isn't a good boss, it should be here)
5.Manus (It has never been that hard for me, my first time I didn't even get the pendant and still defeated him in like the third try)
6.Gwyn (Until recently, it would actually had been higher. It took me like 10+ times beating the game to be good at it. For me it almost a perfect boss, the fight, the design and the lore are amazing, I actually would like him to be unparryable).
7.Sanctuary Guardian
8.Quelaag
9.Bell Gargoyles
10. Seath (It is hear if trying to cut the tail, and I always cut the tail, so...)
Also, is really that many people saying that DS1 isn't difficult? Even though it is the game I've played the most of all the FromSoftware games, I still think DS1 is harder than DS3 and DS2.
Capra is simple. Go up stairs and just block. They will end themselves from fall damage
This was my first video watching you and hearing “she does nothing for me, I’m gay” made me laugh. Great vid
I can be very blunt sometimes lol
For me, a player who is new to souls and has only beaten ds1 once and completed Elden ring. I found Artorias and Manus by far the most difficult on the game, from taking hours to beat artorias to then beat Kalameet first time. This to me is unexplainable. Personally Artorias is the best fight on the game.
You might want to check out my old Dark Souls boss quality ranking from February. Our favourite bosses might align ;D
Where is the dual guardian?
You may be immune to Quelaag's spiditties, but it's balanced out by your thirst for Artorias.
I, a 100000 IQ bisexual am just bad at the whole game because of it
I have a -1 to all stats when Arty is involved, and I'm at peace with that.
His tail has better protection than Malenia, I swear.
most breedable boss in Dark Souls? asking for a friend... Great videos btw we gonna hit the 2024 goal ez.
Oh we did Smash or Pass for DS1 so we already answered our most breedable ds1 bosses
Thank, you for this video!
I wonder if the effect of watching a ton of these boss rankings on UA-cam has skewed the results?
I think if I were a bigger UA-camr, yeah. But because my sample size is quite small, I think a majority of the voters genuinely went with their own experiences and not what big UA-camrs say.
Capra demon made me quit for a year and a half
@@BillySYT Fair. Sometimes it's hard to put myself in the head space of a new player that knows nothing about the games.
🙌🙌🙌🙌
Mooight butterfly was one of the hardest bosses in the game for me. God I hate this part of the game
@@BillySYT can I very much say it is an absolute joy and an honour to have you actually responding not many UA-camrs do that surprisingly enough
Which is why both are among my least favorite boss fights 😅
I'd rank Gwyndolin higher personally, but that's because I'm trash as dodging his attacks 🤣
If Bed of Chaos was in Elden Ring, it would be completely trivial. Not just because the average difficulty in the game is higher, but because it actually has a jump button. If the game just had a jump button it would be an easy boss.
