    They need to get rid of that scheduling and we can go out when we would like to. That’s what I don’t like. That’s the whole reason. I don’t like working a regular work.

    I agree, uber is better at stacking, while DD will typically pay better for shop & pay orders (I've been getting a lot of restaurant > S&P > both to one customer on DD)

    It depends on where you live. I’ve done Uber Eats in the Washington DC area for the past few years as a side hustle. I only ever do weekends or evening/nights. I’m Uber eats pro platinum. You don’t have to accept all orders, I usually reject anything that’s low cost, and I haven’t been penalized. Also at least in my area (since it’s very weathy) I usually make around 20-30$ a hr when incorporating gas costs. DoorDash has a lot more restrictions also and the order pickup process can be more annoying. Uber eats you just pull up to the place and get it and go, and if you provide timely service you get tipped well. I’ve never had any issues with Uber eats . Most ive made I think was about 170$ for a night of orders, (about 6 active hours) however if your ordering from Uber Eats, if you tip like 1$ no one will take your food

    The Uber business model has failed in the beginning. It brought us food delivery by focusing on the customer and they stood there and absorbed profit DoorDash evolved because of how terrible Uber‘s business model is remember when it was almost 4 dollars minimum for an order I’ve seen two stacked orders for a total pay of $3.75 around here with like 12 miles on it. Uber is focused on themselves they disrupted they did not really innovate. They disrupted the industry and showed what could be done and didn’t even make a profit.

  • @LUZRINC
    @LUZRINC 15 годин тому +1

    I do Uber Eats and jumped my AR from 33 to 73 in a week. I ended up losing $5+ a hour and noticed after 50%AR I got incentive pay, which was $10-$15 extra with around 14 deliveries a shift. I also noticed that trip radars don't factor in to your AR and only Exclusive orders affect your AR. The thing is, only Uber Eats decides to up your AR when they want. I took 8 Exclusive orders straight and my AR didn't even go up. WTF. I can't find any information on what increases your AR. I thought AR only went up if it's the 1st exclusive you take and every one after while "on a delivery" didn't count but I still didn't get a increase 1st orders. After 2 days of cherry picking and not even great deliveries I am at 47%. I am tired of $2 offers and $4 for 20 and $8 for 30. I am in Michigan and most orders are .50 and mile

    UE: those d*mn cancellations - I'm in the Dallas Fort Worth and I've noticed when it's hitting close to after normal business hours, and you accept an offer, and the restaurant is closed, it counts against you if you cancel (I'm sure this is across the board with everyone), but it's so stupid how this is marked against the driver if the restaurant is closed - so sometimes even if I accept the offer, I'll call to verify if they're open and check Google - if they're closed, I cancel the order and mark it 'Restaurant Closed' but sometimes you'll get several back-to-back orders like this and the crap still gets counted against you. It's crazy.

    DoorDash all the orders are ready Uber Eats they don’t care because Uber charges 30% DoorDash will make a deal for eight or 10% so the restaurant makes money and they want to give good service to DoorDash. That’s where you’re at Uber focus is more than the customer hiring a taxi for their burrito and it’s usually coldthat DoorDash food those customers get it. It’s hot. Everybody involved does better when they work with DoorDash Uber stands there and takes from everybody, especially people that don’t understand. The cash flow is not a margin or better yet a profit.

    Mike, any idea when DoorDash might support Apple CarPlay, with some full functionality (I know they mentioned it but I’ve never seen it able to load as a CarPlay app), and also support for an iPad? Both of these I see are supported on the Uber side.
    I would just love to use DoorDash in the car on an iPad mini, and then when I’m out of the car and at a restaurant, or I’m dropping it off, be able to use my phone and they work together!!
