@@AsiagoMatteoBF5 is definitely a game I would consider having a stunted growth due to all the things working against it. However, it's still a great game if you ask me.
Another thing to mention about the Greyhound is that it's actually cracked/broken since DICE never removed the bug that makes it invisible out to about 80-100 meters (I forgor the actual distance, someone can correct me), making it great for flanks and sneak attacks against anyone who isn't running a spotting gadget or doesn't ADS at the right moment.
Hearing someone praise the IRL Tiger tank is kinda like hearing someone praise Elon Musk. Is some praise warranted? Sure. But it's usually done in a very annoying way that overhypes it, ignores all the downsides, and the fact that other people/vehicles could do what it could just as, if not better, and without a gaggle of simps behind them.
I suppose that's entirely fair, however in the game it is quite effective... I didn't mention it but in actuality The platform definitely wasn't perfect, from what I remember; the Maintenance down time, due to damage was a devastating set back to say the least. Especially since the tank was over engineered to be the Best a tank it could be... but with more components comes the statistic probability for more things to break. That being said. The Shell payload on this thing was unmatched by the majority of all other Factions in the war... Sureee... The Churchill Gun Carrier and The Pershing are arguably better Tanks (for Barrel projectile) in the same size category... But one's a joke and the other wasn't heavily supported by the Commanders in the war, so few where made... The Tiger has it's reputation, not purely based on opinion but by historical accounts. The Panzer 4 is the best tank in the entire game. The Long 75’s flat trajectory and good damage combined with good mobility and survivability make it the most flexible tank in the entire game. The canister shot version is also really good on maps with lots of hills and an enemy team who is bad at tanking.
I had a funny bit about the Porsche... but... in fact Porsche didn't make this tank... so after I cut it, It really does just look that way doesn't it.... Well too late to change it... now we just have to live with it
I’m glad 38t got the recognition it deserves. It’s same category as armored cars except the cross country mobility is even better thanks to it being tracked and the speed is pretty much the same.
I happen to be one of the people that love the Valentine tank, I love it on both War Thunder and BF5. I would personally put it up there with the Panzer 4 as i have killed countless enemy Panzers, Pumas, Flakpanzers, and even Tigers. You don't even need the mine charges to be effective, because being a British tank, it excels at killing infantry and sniping at enemy tanks from medium to long range. Obviously, going up against a Tiger in it is a death sentence, but you can easily flank or catch one off guard, or even hit one at distance (even frontally) and effectively take it out by hitting it in the side armor or the engine. And for the Type 97, with the 75mm cannon, you can kill a Sherman frontally with 2-3 shots, so it's good at tank hunting and taking out infantry. As for the LVT and Ka-Mi tanks, why even bother using them for Anti-Tank in Bf5? They don't have enough survivability as infantry can be a bigger threat at times, so they serve better as Anti-Air and infantry killers on the Pacific Maps. You'd be surprised how effective the turrets are against planes especially since you can catch them off guard when they fly near you.
Pzr4 doesn’t belong anywhere other than S. Tiger tanks in an average players hand is great however due to the constant glazing of the Tiger over 80 years, most who use it are only using it because of what the history channel said about it and have no fucking clue what they’re doing. A tier.
if they were to add The M26 Pershing with the upgraded 90mm and tiger 2 with its longer 88 to bf5 it would be crazy as we would see even more “heavier” tank platforms in this game
The Valentine is SSS+ tier. Not the Archer. The Valentine. Having played an ungodly amount of BFV, specifically tanks, there was no more comfortable tank to drive. With the upgrade tree including a RoF boost, that thing could smoke Tiger tanks in seconds if you know where to shoot with AP, a good Valentine driver should be feared above all else.
Very nice video but I found two mistakes. The t in Pz 38(t) just means czech in german nothing to do with the production company. And a howitzer is just a type of gun.
sleeping HARD on the LVT. you can get AP for the 50s, spotting scope, traverse speed, and ammo. the thing can kill the japanese mediums from behind, ID and annihilate infantry, and harrass and (eventually) eliminate aircraft. its anti-everything and on the pacific maps, damn good at it.
You're not wrong. BUt whenever I pick up one it's usually a auto spawn on Objectives... If I have choice for a Sherman or an LVT... I'm gonna pick a Sherman
Tier charts are always incredibly inaccurate but any tank is good with a good operator. The tiger 1 is really good at taking out enemy tanks and longer ranged attacks, but in closer range is god awful. The Sherman is honestly great purely because of its many different types, but it’s bad at individual jobs. I’m not naming every tank’s ups and downs but 1 assault class with enough patience and ability can tank out an entire tank column by themselves. To counter all of these just have a big bomb
Unpopular opinion but the base LVT (with no upgrades and with regular gun) is one of the most underrated vehicles in the game. The armour is garbage I will admit, especially when facing the Type 97 equipped with the Type 5 gun. But the 37mm main gun is excellent against infantry and with the right upgrades you can fire it very quickly. For taking out tanks, I personally take the higher rate of fire along with the AP rounds, and this thing shreds Type 97s and Ka-Mis (especially the prior) if you know where to shoot, which works amazingly for me. I take a lot of the upgrades that reinforce some key components of the tank but having a faster turret traverse is also great to have. But by far one of the main reasons I like the base LVT is how good it is at shooting down airplanes, the 37mm round has a relatively flat trajectory with good muzzle velocity making it excellent for shooting down low flying aircraft, I have had great success with this.
IN MY BOOKS... I will name that a: BASED OPINION! Personally I use that or the Heavy Turret... But more often than not I use the auto Map spawn tanks with no perks because I don't want the Enemy to take it lol
Uhmmm No... Wikipedia would like to know your location, because although they have very similar chassis they are certainly not the same. You see... if you use your eyes you will see that the rear portion (on top) of the Panzer III is slanted while the Panzer IV is squared. The Stug IV's rear portion is squared.
The Panzer 4 is defenetly S-Tier. It has the shotgun shells which are whey to overpowered against infantry. It also comes with the spotting flairs and a pretty good main cannon. It also has quite good health. The anti tank variant you showed is not a good choice. The valentine has the shotgun shells too.

5:42 I really hope that was an in game comment and not a historical comment, because I'd have to take issue with you there if it was the latter. Bluntly The majority, and I mean VAST, majority of German armor during WW2 was the Panzer 4 and it's variants to which the M4 was objectively superior to by basically every metric. This is not saying it was a bad tank but the M4 was, generally, a better one. Armor was better, mobility over rough terrain was better, situational awareness was better due to better visibility from the inside, infantry support capabilities were better, ability to be modified was better, maintenance was easier, crew survivability rates were monumentally higher, turret traverse was both faster and more accurate (German turret drives were unreliable and slow during the war, prone to failure and over rotation), so on and so forth. It did one thing better than the M4 and that was adopt a better gun earlier. The Panzer 4, and vehicles based off its chassis (clarification added), made up 4/5 of all German Tanks during WW2. It was the German Workhorse of the war. The Panzer 4 saw it's fair share of face lifts but only ever seemed to break even with M4 variants at any given time. Never really matching it for armor but at times exceeding it for firepower. By 1944 it was a matter of who shot first because while the M4's armor was better the Long Barrel 75mm gun of the Panzer 4 and the Long Barrel 76mm gun of the M4 could kill each other well out to 2km. So it was therefore rather unfortunate for the Panzer 4 that unless it ambushed the M4 the M4 was more likely to get that first shot off due to having greater situational awareness and a gun stabilizer. Granted, all of this doesn't matter in a game context because I somewhat doubt any of this is modelled because Battlefield is not a simulator and it shouldn't try to be. In a game-ified setting if you tried to make tanks authentic a lot of tanks would have nasty drawbacks that simply wouldn't be fun to play around. Turret traverse inconsistency, a slow turret traverse rate, low operational range, mechanical unreliability, poor gunsights, lack of situational awareness, etc.
Your thoughts are so organized... Yeah I suppose that statement is pretty misleading. Fireflies and E8s did exist irl and when against Panzer 4s It definitely comes out on top... That said The most produced tank for Germany during WW2 was the STUG III, So I'd like to suggest that with an Ambush of a STUG Entrenched vs the Sherman.... things would probably go the other way, or course unless it gets prolonged
@AsiagoMatteo Indeed, fair point. As far as I remember I believe the StuG was the most successful, statistically speaking, tank killer of the war from a ground vehicle perspective just from sheer amount of vehicles it ended up destroying. It was pretty much the perfect ambush vehicle for the time.
I've never played battlefield 5 and everything about the tanks appears to be deeply unsettling. Sherman with both the 105 and the flamethrower, stug 4 with short 75mm, Puma with 75mm, and the inclusion of the churchill gun carrier??? Also a howitzer is a type of gun, far from unique to America.
OH yeah.... you right 100%... One thing I will say at least... Tank gameplay in BFV is arguably the best it's ever been in Battlefield With Customization, Health that doesn't magically repair itself, Limited Ammo and Resupply stations... It Feels really invigorating and Balanced. At least I think so...
The sherman variants and sherman engines weren't developed over time. More like "every factory, these are the general specs, put your engine in it, built lots of it and get it to the front." So you have 4 different engines.

Sherman at S tier, American detected. Its the equivalent of a Russian praising a T-34. The type 97 is better in every way against a sherman. In battlefield 5, it can easily take it out. In real life nope. But in this game it just does more consistent, and higher damage. 1 V 1 a type 97 against a sherman in this game and the sherman will lose. A tiger H1 can one shot a sherman, but a sherman has to get 3 shots at least to take down a full health tiger even from the weakest part of the tank. In fact I actually have a video proving this, with a Tiger 1, killing a newly spawned in sherman and a sherman tank destroyer shooting the same weakest area and needing three shots. Sherman should get a D or C. As it's pretty average which is fair because they were. Not too bad, not great either. Also the Churchill Gun Carrier was done dirty as it can two shot a Tiger H1, best tank destroyer that isn't the Stormtiger.

@AsiagoMatteo it took me 3 years to warm up to the Valentine. I hates it for 3 years and couldn't play it. One day things just click . Same thing with planes. Have you ever noticed that the british never fly the spitfire and always opt for the mosquito and blenheim? This is because they are legit scared of the bf109 g6 with rockets and high altitude. But the truth is the best pilots can easily kill the g6 unless the g6 is also an expert. The spitfire literally turns tighter but people still wont dogfight the bf109. Battlefield v is a giant mess of a video game with bizarre decisions and nerfs that were never fixed. This is all to say that the airplane video you make I wish you the best , because top pilots in the world who obsess over this game like me are going to expect every plane to be considered a viable niche ( mosquito mk ik is considered the least viable plane in the whole game but still can have a purpose in case you wonder ) , while the majority of players are going to be expecting you to talk about the meta planes and praise /hate them for being op . I personally think the latter is less entertaining because all the planes have their own personality rather than just a binary good - bad . And if you want to entertain and have a good time along with viewers I encourage not falling for the meta trap and instead focusing on the individual personalities of each plane. I am excited for your next video either way .

The Panzer 4 is the best tank in the entire game. The Long 75’s flat trajectory and good damage combined with good mobility and survivability make it the most flexible tank in the entire game. The canister shot version is also really good on maps with lots of hills and an enemy team who is bad at tanking.

I happen to be one of the people that love the Valentine tank, I love it on both War Thunder and BF5. I would personally put it up there with the Panzer 4 as i have killed countless enemy Panzers, Pumas, Flakpanzers, and even Tigers. You don't even need the mine charges to be effective, because being a British tank, it excels at killing infantry and sniping at enemy tanks from medium to long range. Obviously, going up against a Tiger in it is a death sentence, but you can easily flank or catch one off guard, or even hit one at distance (even frontally) and effectively take it out by hitting it in the side armor or the engine.
And for the Type 97, with the 75mm cannon, you can kill a Sherman frontally with 2-3 shots, so it's good at tank hunting and taking out infantry. As for the LVT and Ka-Mi tanks, why even bother using them for Anti-Tank in Bf5? They don't have enough survivability as infantry can be a bigger threat at times, so they serve better as Anti-Air and infantry killers on the Pacific Maps. You'd be surprised how effective the turrets are against planes especially since you can catch them off guard when they fly near you.

The Valentine is SSS+ tier. Not the Archer. The Valentine. Having played an ungodly amount of BFV, specifically tanks, there was no more comfortable tank to drive. With the upgrade tree including a RoF boost, that thing could smoke Tiger tanks in seconds if you know where to shoot with AP, a good Valentine driver should be feared above all else.

sleeping HARD on the LVT. you can get AP for the 50s, spotting scope, traverse speed, and ammo. the thing can kill the japanese mediums from behind, ID and annihilate infantry, and harrass and (eventually) eliminate aircraft. its anti-everything and on the pacific maps, damn good at it.

Tier charts are always incredibly inaccurate but any tank is good with a good operator.
The tiger 1 is really good at taking out enemy tanks and longer ranged attacks, but in closer range is god awful.
The Sherman is honestly great purely because of its many different types, but it’s bad at individual jobs.
I’m not naming every tank’s ups and downs but 1 assault class with enough patience and ability can tank out an entire tank column by themselves.
To counter all of these just have a big bomb

Unpopular opinion but the base LVT (with no upgrades and with regular gun) is one of the most underrated vehicles in the game. The armour is garbage I will admit, especially when facing the Type 97 equipped with the Type 5 gun. But the 37mm main gun is excellent against infantry and with the right upgrades you can fire it very quickly. For taking out tanks, I personally take the higher rate of fire along with the AP rounds, and this thing shreds Type 97s and Ka-Mis (especially the prior) if you know where to shoot, which works amazingly for me.
I take a lot of the upgrades that reinforce some key components of the tank but having a faster turret traverse is also great to have. But by far one of the main reasons I like the base LVT is how good it is at shooting down airplanes, the 37mm round has a relatively flat trajectory with good muzzle velocity making it excellent for shooting down low flying aircraft, I have had great success with this.

Personally I use that or the Heavy Turret... But more often than not I use the auto Map spawn tanks with no perks because I don't want the Enemy to take it lol

You see... if you use your eyes you will see that the rear portion (on top) of the Panzer III is slanted while the Panzer IV is squared.
The Stug IV's rear portion is squared.
The Panzer 4 is defenetly S-Tier. It has the shotgun shells which are whey to overpowered against infantry. It also comes with the spotting flairs and a pretty good main cannon. It also has quite good health. The anti tank variant you showed is not a good choice. The valentine has the shotgun shells too.

5:42 I really hope that was an in game comment and not a historical comment, because I'd have to take issue with you there if it was the latter. Bluntly The majority, and I mean VAST, majority of German armor during WW2 was the Panzer 4 and it's variants to which the M4 was objectively superior to by basically every metric. This is not saying it was a bad tank but the M4 was, generally, a better one.
Armor was better, mobility over rough terrain was better, situational awareness was better due to better visibility from the inside, infantry support capabilities were better, ability to be modified was better, maintenance was easier, crew survivability rates were monumentally higher, turret traverse was both faster and more accurate (German turret drives were unreliable and slow during the war, prone to failure and over rotation), so on and so forth. It did one thing better than the M4 and that was adopt a better gun earlier.
The Panzer 4, and vehicles based off its chassis (clarification added), made up 4/5 of all German Tanks during WW2. It was the German Workhorse of the war.
The Panzer 4 saw it's fair share of face lifts but only ever seemed to break even with M4 variants at any given time. Never really matching it for armor but at times exceeding it for firepower. By 1944 it was a matter of who shot first because while the M4's armor was better the Long Barrel 75mm gun of the Panzer 4 and the Long Barrel 76mm gun of the M4 could kill each other well out to 2km. So it was therefore rather unfortunate for the Panzer 4 that unless it ambushed the M4 the M4 was more likely to get that first shot off due to having greater situational awareness and a gun stabilizer.
Granted, all of this doesn't matter in a game context because I somewhat doubt any of this is modelled because Battlefield is not a simulator and it shouldn't try to be. In a game-ified setting if you tried to make tanks authentic a lot of tanks would have nasty drawbacks that simply wouldn't be fun to play around. Turret traverse inconsistency, a slow turret traverse rate, low operational range, mechanical unreliability, poor gunsights, lack of situational awareness, etc.
Your thoughts are so organized... Yeah I suppose that statement is pretty misleading. Fireflies and E8s did exist irl and when against Panzer 4s It definitely comes out on top...
That said The most produced tank for Germany during WW2 was the STUG III, So I'd like to suggest that with an Ambush of a STUG Entrenched vs the Sherman.... things would probably go the other way, or course unless it gets prolonged
@AsiagoMatteo Indeed, fair point. As far as I remember I believe the StuG was the most successful, statistically speaking, tank killer of the war from a ground vehicle perspective just from sheer amount of vehicles it ended up destroying. It was pretty much the perfect ambush vehicle for the time.

I've never played battlefield 5 and everything about the tanks appears to be deeply unsettling. Sherman with both the 105 and the flamethrower, stug 4 with short 75mm, Puma with 75mm, and the inclusion of the churchill gun carrier??? Also a howitzer is a type of gun, far from unique to America.

The sherman variants and sherman engines weren't developed over time. More like "every factory, these are the general specs, put your engine in it, built lots of it and get it to the front."

Sherman at S tier, American detected. Its the equivalent of a Russian praising a T-34. The type 97 is better in every way against a sherman. In battlefield 5, it can easily take it out. In real life nope. But in this game it just does more consistent, and higher damage. 1 V 1 a type 97 against a sherman in this game and the sherman will lose. A tiger H1 can one shot a sherman, but a sherman has to get 3 shots at least to take down a full health tiger even from the weakest part of the tank. In fact I actually have a video proving this, with a Tiger 1, killing a newly spawned in sherman and a sherman tank destroyer shooting the same weakest area and needing three shots. Sherman should get a D or C. As it's pretty average which is fair because they were. Not too bad, not great either. Also the Churchill Gun Carrier was done dirty as it can two shot a Tiger H1, best tank destroyer that isn't the Stormtiger.

This is because they are legit scared of the bf109 g6 with rockets and high altitude.
But the truth is the best pilots can easily kill the g6 unless the g6 is also an expert. The spitfire literally turns tighter but people still wont dogfight the bf109.
Battlefield v is a giant mess of a video game with bizarre decisions and nerfs that were never fixed.
This is all to say that the airplane video you make I wish you the best , because top pilots in the world who obsess over this game like me are going to expect every plane to be considered a viable niche ( mosquito mk ik is considered the least viable plane in the whole game but still can have a purpose in case you wonder ) , while the majority of players are going to be expecting you to talk about the meta planes and praise /hate them for being op . I personally think the latter is less entertaining because all the planes have their own personality rather than just a binary good - bad . And if you want to entertain and have a good time along with viewers I encourage not falling for the meta trap and instead focusing on the individual personalities of each plane. I am excited for your next video either way .
