I feel like people dont really push Ghosts instrumentals for reactions but both from this album are fantastic. Miasma seems to be the most popular but I like Helvetesfonster too. Would love to hear both your thoughts on them.
The last line of the chorus- "What you've done you cannot undo"-- that's a line from Shakespeare's Macbeth...didn't realize until now as I just finished reading the play for a grad lit course. Nice!
Its so nice getting to go through my favorite discography with perspectives from a vocalist and writer. It makes these reactions even better than your run of the mill channels since there is some valuable frame of reference.
Yes! If you guys do this version, look up the video uploaded by HardDrive Radio. And check out the acoustic version of Jigolo Har Megiddo they've uploaded too. It's better than the studio version.
One of Ghosts most beautiful songs, IMO. Especially Tobias Forges incredibly expressive voice. I think that this is a sad song, "One never does that", and "In the night I am real", Tobias just covers this so succinctly. And yes, TB did this song as a tribute to Roky Erickson. All true Ghosts fans know the story behind this beautiful, haunting song. HAIL SATAN
I love your cat! Also, I totally dig that you guys focus on different parts of the song. There’s so much to catch. Fun fact! There is cute interview with Tobias and a little boy. The boy asks Tobias if he likes cats or dogs. And Tobias says, “Cats because they usually smell nice.” 😂
I hope you guys are as much excited as I am for the new album coming this Friday! Loving the content and looking forward to listening to your record too! Slavebranded is an awesome track, kudos to you both! Cheers from Greece!
Sweet, thank you so much! Yes, we're going to marathon react to the new album Friday night! And in the mean time, if you want to check out our previously released metal record, it's under the Orisonata band name! Available on all streaming platforms.
This song snuck up on me as a Ghost fan (as a lot of their songs tend to do), and it is one of my favorites. It gives me Duran Duran vibes when I listen to it.
Fun Fact I’m sure a lot of you guys know Tobias Forge Ghosts lead singer was also a lead singer to Repugnant a death metal band so you hear notes of death metal in his ghost voice
You should listen to Infestissumam from the album Infestissumam. IMO in top 10 of all their songs even though it's only less than 2 minutes long. Maybe do a two fer
Please please please listen to one of the other bands Tobias was in. Magna Carta Cartel - Sway. Ghost vibes but so beautiful. Fun fact, it actually has the guitar player from Ghost's first two albums. Phenomenal.
Much of this album, although the overall theme is about the plague. A secondary theme is the breakup of the original core musicians and the following lawsuit. I Always felt this song was written for Martin. He and Tobias were very good friends and it was very painful for both to split ways.
That is nothing but a fan fiction story. These rumours start when someone jumps to conclusions, not understanding the lyrics properly, and then the story spreads like a wildfire amongst fans. Tobias has many times said these songs have been around long before they appeared on Prequelle. The only song on this album that has ANY hints of being about the lawsuit, is Faith, and even that is probably misunderstood. Same thing goes to He is. Fan fiction always says it's about Forge's brother, which is completely false if you actually read and understand what it means. It's just too easy for people to make their own stories about songs based on lyrics that they have misunderstood in the first place. This is not particularly meant to you, I'm just saying this here because these stories always come up. And I think the "hc" fans are going too far talking about Tobias and Martin and the other guys LIKE WE WOULD KNOW THEM somehow. Truth is, we don't know jack shit about their relationship and history. We don't even know what exactly happened. Fans know probably about 1% of the truth, and they've just made their minds based on that.
Thanks, though I can't say I've heard of them yet! I'm sure they're great! :) Maybe this sounds silly, but since we started doing these reaction videos, I've been avoiding watching others so as not to be influenced by them.
Even though we are Christian ourselves, I don’t want to necessarily want to be thought of as a Christian reactor… sure, our world view will naturally permeate how we interpret art and music, but honestly I suck as a salesman, plus it’s just not me! That’s why I am an engineer by trade! The fact that non Christian folks are enjoying our reactions tells me we are not being obnoxiously preachy about it. And I hope we are coming off as genuine at least 🥴

Ανακάλυψα αυτό το συγκρότημα πρόσφατα και απλά είναι σαν να έχω βρει χρυσό!😅😅
This is about the Grim Reaper coming to get you. Fantastic song ❤️
Songs to check out: If you have Ghosts, Ghuleh/Zombie Queen, Bible, Dues in Absentia and Life Eternal
This song snuck up on me as a Ghost fan (as a lot of their songs tend to do), and it is one of my favorites. It gives me Duran Duran vibes when I listen to it.
The chord progression in the chorus is very very catchy! Prequelle has a LOT of catchy progressions, but this one is particularly tasty.
GHOST- See the light and Life Eternal from the prequelle album
Mary on a cross!
Ghost - Marry On A Cross
Mary on a cross please!
Love to watch you guys.
3 DAYS UNTIL IMPERA!!!
Anyone else take the day off to catch the livestream event?
Aww! Your cat is soooo cute!!! And cool reaction, guys!

Griftwood is an amazing song
Fun Fact I’m sure a lot of you guys know Tobias Forge Ghosts lead singer was also a lead singer to Repugnant a death metal band so you hear notes of death metal in his ghost voice
If u like bass melodies u should really listen to "From the pinnacle to the pit".
That video comes out tomorrow!
GHOST- MAJESTY is a classic. Give it a try 🇺🇸❤️😌😌
Seriously check out, Jigolo Har Megiddo live version.
You should listen to Infestissumam from the album Infestissumam. IMO in top 10 of all their songs even though it's only less than 2 minutes long. Maybe do a two fer
You guys should totally do Mary on a cross and monstrance clock next!

The new album The Dying Option is spectacular ❤️
@@magnusblomqvist966 I'll have to give it a listen! Thanks.
Baba Yaga, BRATVA, made in Russia,Demolisher,Zavali Ebalo, agony, to name a few the drums and guitar rif out of this world
Slaughter to prevail is death core but with so much young slipknot feel..
Please go away. Just no.

thats a big cat :O
Macabray are you serious? 😂
Almost never!
@@FlameImperishable love it
White horse, could it be Heroin? In Sweden we call heroin horse and its white? Naaa!
My guess would be it is Death or Satan related knowing Ghost!
You guys will be legendary like Vin & Sori!
I honestly don't care for Vin and Sori lmao. At least these two have more interesting things to say about the music.
Thanks, though I can't say I've heard of them yet! I'm sure they're great! :) Maybe this sounds silly, but since we started doing these reaction videos, I've been avoiding watching others so as not to be influenced by them.
Not a fan. Their reaction is like 5 minutes of the song reaction then 20 minutes of a Christian lecture lol.
What do you think of Robert Houghton reactions with his son?

....... The level of utter annoyance at pausing during the duel harmonics intro to the second chorus.... ruined the whole swell of the moment.
