You're the only one out there with a brain, everybody else breaks the tabs on the arm rest to get those 2 top nuts. I much prefer the method you did, maybe a little more work but not a hack job and well worth it in the end. Keep up the good work.. I'm replacing mine today and I'll take the extra steps and keep the arm rest intact.

Was the size 13mm for the two nuts up top? I'm having issues getting socket to seat down but I'm pretty sure it's 13. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I was about to break all the arm rest tabs but then I found your video! Thank you so much. I had put off changing my rear shocks. I had 205K Mile’s on them and one finally started leaking fluid. Great video!

Would that be the same for a 2014 GL 350? Looks the same

Mike can you tell me the brand of shocks you purchased? And since you installed them.....have they lasted.....or ?? Did you go Bilstein or aftermarket.

i had mine replaced with some cheap Chinease stuff - they blew out in 10 months and ate up the rear tires. had the m replaced and they blew up even faster and ate tires again. Bilstein is going in tomorrow.

Hey Mike, what about the airbag, did you have to replace that too? Does the strut and airbag all malfunction at once, can you explain that for me?
