Would you take this over the last gen GT3RS?
I'd take a 991.2 GT3 (Manual) over this and the upcoming GT3RS.
I am aware that the 992 GT3 also comes In a manual but I like the look of the 991.2 GT3 more.
991.2 gt3 manual maybe touring I love more the front of the 991.2
@@Lambullghini i think i prefer the never before seen sparingly used mad aggression in the 992's design myself, but if i were to pick any gt3, it'd be the 997.2, i just dig the styling and lineflow
never driven either but i would take a 992 over the 991 as the 991 feels super dated compared to the newest gen

I have to privilege to go in one of these back in November 2021. The engine and the theatre was greater than any Ferrari/Lamborghini I’ve been in. It’s massively rated in Europe. You’ll believe the hype if you ever have a go!

Sadly its frankly impossible to source this car under 200k unless it was ordered at msrp... PCar taxation!!! What an amazing car!!
I live in the uk this car is £230k pounds used with 8,500 miles on it ( $310k dollars) . List was 160k pounds (215k dollars). If you want a delivery miles gt3 theres one for sale with 25 miles on it for £250k pounds ($335k dollars)
Cephas Makuzva 992 GT3 is currently going for over $600k AUD used here in Australia...
@Nicholas Peppas its crazy what production of cars stopping in covid and no new cars being available did to the used car market. In the uk he has "normal" cars like a bmw 3 series with 5k miles on selling for over list. It was nuts.

It should be illegal for dealers to do these insane dealer mark ups. Ford, Chevy an a few others have all came out saying there will be penalties for any dealer caught doing this. Wish more company's would get behind this horrible business practice

Sorry but there are no actual penalties to dealerships for charging over MSRP that was a PR move to give the impression to the public that manufacturers were on the consumers side, MSRP means manufacturers “suggested”retail price and it’s in every dealership agreement with the manufacturer that the dealer has the final say about what they charge. That story that was making the rounds was targeted towards the dealers that customers had ordered cars such as Bronco and C8’s at MSRP and then when car arrived it was suddenly marked up
Dodge did the same thing in 2015 when hellcats were released
I was lucky enough to get a 992 touring allocation. I had to pay $40k over sticker but the cars are selling at $350k so it is what it is. I’ve been waiting 5 years for a GT3 and I wasn’t going to lose it over $40k. It’s not fair but it’s the world we live in. It arrives is April and I can’t wait. I got the 6 speed manual of course. i wish they would let you have red calipers with the pccbs. I've always hated yellow calipers, they are too shouty IMO compared to a nice deep red

Harry from Harry's Garage found the 992 GT3 to unusable on regular roads due to the suspension and bumps / irregularities in the roadway. Did you find that to be an issue?
Harry lives in the UK which is known to have bad roads & it’s also a matter of preference some people can tolerate stiff cars but some don’t. There’s a lot of places in the US with good smooth roads.
@@wd8005 cali canyon roads are tailored for this car...and parker lives right close to some of the best ones
It's overblown. Honestly I found BMW M suspensions to be rougher than my 992 GT3. The 992 GT3 feels softer in street driving than my 991.2 GT3 RS.
Because uk road mines,motocross tracks alike state of the whole roadway grid..nothing even close to the smooth tarmac found in southerc cali

Put the car into sport mode - this turns off the start - stop function. Or turn it off in the screen. But it does default to on each time you start the car- I drive my 992 911’s in sport anyway.
Gt3 has doubled in price in about 10 years !! Crazy, but I'd still buy one if I could 🤣

Porsche should take complete control of their car allocations, too may prospectors not enough enthusiasts get their hands on these cars. Dealers con clients into buying crap forecourt cars in order to get a GT3 etc. Pathetic after all the passion and hard engineering work that goes into these cars, just for them to end up as investments and ornaments.

The true Porsche GT RS cars were the 991 ! Röhrl helped develop it from the ground up.
