The standard RS540 27t is plenty of power for the AutoSport Tuned 20 👍

Hello my friend! Great idea with the super glue! you are right that tape is not the best and with a ESC like that you might as well get it stuck down real good for a long time!

Hi there Mr S, nice new ESC (albeit receiver using SnailMail😂) oh and what a lovely new work mat too 😂😊😂. I like the MTronixs ESC’s idea of plug & play, makes life so much easier. Lovely neat wiring from the servo back to through the bracing channel. Made me laugh a bit too, with the building for others that weren’t being very patient, yet counted back the 10s for the super glue in a hurry 😊😊. That ESC can’t be going anywhere after the superglue application. Just a little bit of cable management to go, a few other details and ready for a quick test. You’ve got this step by step guide on video thingy all smashed now 😊😊best wishes my good friend. Give a hug to Maisie too 😊😊

Hi John, the side protection bars are a good idea to use to help protect the steering servo and help with the wiring issues you would have if you didn't use them. They come as standard with any G6-01 kit but are not stated anywhere in the build manual of when to put them on as they also help to keep the front body posts straight. The 10s countdown was a spur of the moment thought seeing as the glue would have already set by the time the ESC was placed on its seating area 😁
Impatient people are becoming the norm lately 🙄 I may have to start declining custom work so that I can concentrate on my own stuff for a change 😅

Hi Damian, thanks for tuning in. This particular ESC is brilliant to use as it will handle anything brushed down to a 20 turn making it ideal for the beginner. I use quite a few of these in my standard builds 👍

Comming on great sir, it's very apparent from watching your builds that you really do know what you are doing!!!
Years of experience certainly help to keep any custom build an enjoyable and stress free journey.
Most interested in that esc, never actually heard of them before.....
I generally use the stock Tamiya TBLE-0 series or hobbywing 1060's.
I hate the f*****g around you have to do sticking a pointed object onto the smallest of buttons while waiting for a certain sequence of LED flashes on the TBLE-02's to set them, and I have often had limp mode issues with the 1060's.....not to mention the amount of fakes that seem to flood the market on ebay!
I may well try one of these on my next build, as I have full faith in your judgement fella!
Looking forward to seeing this rig once she is all finished, looks like a very unconventional chassis, which in turn makes it very interesting!

Hi James 👋 You definitely can't go wrong with an Mtronics AutoSport Tuned 20 ESC as you can use any brushed motor down to a 20 turn but you can't run a LiPo battery on it as its not compatible. I usually use these on my standard Creations running a Torque Tuned.
Yep, the G6-01 chassis is certainly different to anything else on the market but just as enjoyable to build 😀
You & Taylor will love building one of these, pretty soon I believe 🤫🤔👍

Hiya Peter. Great work you are doing there. I've never superglued the electronics down but I do tend to try and cable tie them. I just looked and the ESC is cable tied down. I was able to drill a hole through in a place where the hole doesn't go into the hollow bit where the gears are if you know what I mean. Looking forward to seeing this one done and hopefully you can make it down so I can test drive it too 😁 Best wishes mate 👍👍

Hi Pete, I thought a Blob of superglue would do the job sufficiently without having to drill any holes but at least i know that the ESC won't fall off if I go through any puddles now.
