Hi, I was doing Malian 25+2 LS+siege tower before they were buffed. I abused market a lot, it was very tight BO, but never need castle to finish game. It was enough to spam 2 barracks and vills from 1 TC. Siege ws+rams to finish the game. After Portuguese buff, when Castle drop into Organs was common, I switch into Dravidians Tower rush+archers, build up eco in feudal, forward castle into imp/trebs. This strategy stick with me to these days, even I am playing random now. I should try some infatry with siege tower. You gave me a strategy to think of.
I tried many variation of this strategy and the only one that could actually be viable on high level was this style. Pure long swords just get walled out/converted. Really need that castle drop to make the push actually scary even if it hits a bit later.
Then you can probably get away with placing the castle outside, taking all relics, and booming. If they go fast imp, you just give up your forward position while you make army.
I can very well imnagine that this strategy works out very nice if you execute it well. But I highly doubt that building a castle right behind the enemy walls is the stronger strategy to dropping a castle just in front of the walls with much better economy. I think I will stick to my usual build order. But it was still helpful ton watch this video because as you are a pretty famous Age UA-camr it is not unlikely that some guys on my ELO have seen this, too, and I will soon be chalenged to react to exactly what was ton be seen in the video.
In this video would be good since other people can read it as well. I've had great success with this build even at 2k1-2k2 level. Getting the castle inside the base is actually really important as you take a lot of space away from the opponent@@lukasvideosify1596
I see. Yeah, I guess it is all about execution. I am around 1100 ELO and convinced that at my ELO that strategy is not the strongest. But then again what do I know about the professional level? 🤔@@SurvivalistAoE
The initial execution can be done by any elo with some practice as I've given the build order/basic strategy. Adaptation is where higher elo player will do better with this. Honestly, anyone who wants to try this build (even higher level players) should try it against the AI a few times until it's somewhat comfortable. Lower elo players will probably just take a bit longer to get comfortable with it.
Phenomenal build order. I've been running this with Japanese, and have yet to lose a single game as long as I get the castle drop. From there it feels truly unstoppable with the combo of rams + samurai. Thanks for the content!
Kreposts instead of heavy investment into siege is best with bulgarians. Rams are still good, but make sure to place kreposts to support each time you go in with the rams to take down a tc
I dont understand why we need to go feudal this quickly? If we stay in Dark until say vill 29 - thats roughly 500 extra res? Minus horse collar/Double bit axe benefit
I have been doing a similar strategy with Slavs for the last couple of years and I haven't seen anyone doing the same. I won many games when it worked but when it doesn't you will be too behind on eco without a very good macro
Btw would be good idea to put your TC in place of enemy TC to steal farms(once it is destroyed)? Or that would be too risky? Or is it possible but only if enemy abandons that part of his base?
Market is really useful for rebalancing the economy. It's especially important when you need to place a castle at a certain time, but don't quite have enough stone. @@forsakenquery
Seige tower cruising through the gate is awesome. Its so excited to be used
Will try when i play tomorrow!!!
Same strat, but use Turks and the enemy will forever be confused by the timings as you age up.
You're amazing. So much respect for your play style and creativity. Thank you!!
Great Build thanks Surv

What if they make walls behind their walls to deny the siege tower being able to drop off units?

Why feudal age so early? I think it would be better to go 25+5
Getting double bit axe and horse collar early is good. Also the stronger scout can be very strong

So, in case that that happens, I will at least know what is going on and do some extra walls and maybe a tower close tpo the TC.
Report back if you end up seeing it as I'm interested to hear stories of people who have faced this on the ladder @@lukasvideosify1596
Yeah, sure I think I can do that.
Like here in the comments or somewhere on your Discord?

With incas change the vils distribution?
Any eco bonus will mean you need to adjust it a bit.
What ELO range is good for that considering there is a lot of micromanagement to be done?

Best of all, it's really fun :)
Bulgarian main here, gonna try it! any other recomendations for bulgarians specifically?

I just used this strategy and beat a 1500. I am 1300. I had a lot of fun :)
will this make me an anime waifu
It depends on how hard you want it
great build, was a lot of fun watching you develop it on your streams, keep up the great work Survivalest

Not having those upgrades are a big deal. Farms expire at bad times if you go FC. Having the stronger scout earlier is a huge deal as well.
Interesting build, house quickwalls to protect vils are nice touch indeed.

Now im afraid. This will be played alot on the ladder noe. Really loved this build
Hey bro, thanks very much for this tips
any changes if I´m too lazy to push deer?
Probably just need to go up on like 33 vils instead.
yes, but the food under the tc runs out pretty quickly without deer
Btw would be good idea to put your TC in place of enemy TC to steal farms(once it is destroyed)? Or that would be too risky? Or is it possible but only if enemy abandons that part of his base?
You can definitely use a forward tc to control area if you don't have enough stone for another castle (getting free farms is a bonus)
Great bild order! Is there a chance to get cumans 2 tc with tower Rush bild?
Pretty sure I tried it before and realized it's not a good strategy so I won't make a build for it. Cumans just have much better options.
@@SurvivalistAoE what about a feudal Siege workshop in this build instead of a market to get to castle as Cumans? Save 175 wood.

Not a good strategy?? Someone should tell Tatoh he's been doing it wrong this whole time 11 @@SurvivalistAoE
