Celebration Amidst the War: Hasidim Observe Rosh Hashanah in Ukraine

- Despite the war, tens of thousands of Hasidic Jews arrived to the Ukrainian city of Uman for the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, which welcomes the New Year according to the Jewish calendar. Due to the threat of Russian missile attacks, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police recommended that pilgrims refrain from visiting Ukraine this year. But war does not frighten them. “Our people are not afraid. Maybe we worry but we don’t stop living. If you stop living they win,” one pilgrim said. Best wishes to the Jewish community 🤍

Glory to the Heroes!🇺🇦
Beautiful report, thank you. Happy that Ukrainian authorities allowed the pilgrimage to happen as normal, and happy so many pilgrims were not afraid to go and support Ukraine. Slava Ukraini, Heroam Slava!
Glory to the Heroes!🇺🇦
They shouldn't even be here. Do you not see basically nobody is safe now in the country? Do you want to endanger even more people?
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
Peace and prosperity to Jewish people and to Ukrainian people!
Freedom for Ukraine is freedom for the whole world!
Prayers for safety & peace for the pilgrims and for Ukraine. 🔯 Happy New Year
If anybody is sane here they would not let these people in! Nobody notices that there is a war? That many civil die day by day? Do we want to endanger even more people, because we don't have enough casualities?
For life, brother.
Believe me, we have known a lot of bitterness of losses from the actions of the russian occupiers. The whole world dreams of the end of the war, and and especially Ukrainians. But we will not give up our freedom for the sake of a world in slavery.
Good for them. Sometimes just living going about your business is the best way to rebel against an aggressor. 🇺🇦 SLAVA UKRAINI 🇮🇱🇺🇲🌻🌻🌻🌻
Thank you for the education! A joyous Rosh Hashanah. Peace to all. 🕊Slava Ukraine!🇺🇸🪔🇺🇦

Thank you for your support, my Belgian brother!
This inspires us to fight, because we understand that we are not alone in the face of russian occupiers.

Hey man! Just men all around. Is it because of the risk or is it a only beards party???
Just check where the Ukraine coat of arms comes from...
Checked. What's your point?
End the war! Russia you can end this war at any time, so please think of the people being hurt and end this war now!
Demons in human form, He'll bound
Slava Ukraini
Glory to the Heroes!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
Thank you for your support, buddy!
Together to victory!
@@UNITED24media Supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do. Putin is worse than Hitler or Stalin and the Russian Federation is worse than the Third Reich or the USSR. Many horrendous war crimes will appear in the liberated lands. But Ukraine will prevail.
To support Ukraine is to support the entire free world.
