We are moving on from (discrete) arithmetic sequences and to study (continuous) linear functions - so the overlap and the differences are obvious...
We look at how linear functions and be used to model a variety of ‘real-life’ scenarios - with harder questions requiring piecewise functions. However, we haven't used functions terminology yet, as that is the subject of a future Web Lesson.
