GCSE Maths :|: Algebra :|: Expanding Brackets (Distributive Properties of Operations)

Following on from last week's classroom lesson, we continue with the basics of Algebra: This week, we learn when BRACKETS are needed (and when they are superfluous): When we can (and when we can't) expand the expression to get rid of the brackets (by understanding the distributive properties of operations over each other). We continue to make use of the calculator to ‘check’ any simplifcation that we are unsure of!
