  • A balanced, healthy diet is critical to the growth and development of all children, especially if their health is already compromised by an autoimmune disease such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis. In this Children’s Channel video, Steven Spalding, MD, director of the division of rheumatology at Akron Children’s Hospital, discusses how to use meals and snack time to ease and even eliminate some of the symptoms associated with these diseases.

    I wanted to like the keto diet but it was just impossible, I felt horrible. I then saw a review about the Agoge diet and I tried it and it was awesome.

    Chronic Stress was the cause of mine autoimmune issues. I suffered from eczema, psoriasis, depression, anxiety, excess sweating, brain fog, chronic fatigue etc etc, just to name a few. This was happening for years and each symptom was worsening since i was so frustrated and depressed about the situation, making myself more stresses out. Finally realizing that its me and my emotions causing this, i was finally able to cure myself, before that i ve tried exercising a lot, all kinds of diets and supplements, nothing worked.

      @@sumitkothiyal7050 well, i was depressed and fristrated because of the situation i was in, having all kinds of health issues. I just realizsd that being negative about it just makes it worse (but really it was the core issue itself) and doesnt help me in any way, so i literally stopped my chronic depression in one day with this realization.

      @@_slier - no, sugar doesn't cause diabetes. Eating too much saturated fat causes II diabetes. The fat coats the cell and the insulin cannot get into the cell. I learned this here on UA-cam awhile back by two different doctors in two different videos. I eat natural sugar all the time (fruit) but I try not to eat too much saturated fat. I had my a1c test last year and it was 4.1 and I'm not young. Just turned sixty a few months ago. I don't have any other health problems either.

    Every “Expert” has their own opinion. They all contradict each other. Some say fat is good, others say it is bad. Some say carbs are good, etc, etc, etc. They are all blindly throwing darts at a wall, while trying to sound like they know what they’re talking about.

      Frozen vegetables still have fibres, and the vitamins are actually better preserved.
      Other things with fibres are whole grain bread and oats.
      A great trick is also to add a bit of psyllium husk to your food.

    Every cell runs on glycogen . Lipids / fats ( even the healthy ones ) block insulin receptor sites so that the sugars can not be processed optimally , leading to type 2 diabetes . High sugar / carb without the fat / very low (less than 10% of daily calories ) , and eating enough calories 2000 -3500 daily on average for most people , will do wonders for your help . Most MD’s have very few hours of nutritional training , yet most people complicity follow their dietary recommendations . If everyone got better , the doctors and drug cartels would lose tons of cash flow : )

      It is a hormone

    • @aguven
      @aguven 5 років тому +3

      Vitamin D is pre-hormone. Your body can produce it under your skin when certain components exposed to ultraviolet radiation in sunlight. Also you can get it with diet.
      Vitamin D is called a pre-hormone because it is used in production of the hormone thyroxine in the thyroid gland. Your body simply adds some iodine molecules to vitamin D to make it thyroxine hormone. This hormone regulates overall metabolism and general physiology, therefore very important.
