my cell phone and other things kept falling in between my passenger seat and console I saw a hack where they used a piece of pool noodle squished in between worked like a charm.

Humor me…shouldn’t the mechanic shop you just paid over $1,000 to have made sure your tires were properly filled?
Unfortunately, you have to CYOA. Check your air as a practice especially since that's the thing that touches the ground. Not an excuse for the mechanic, but if you're traveling you need to do in addition to what mechanics do for you.
That's the sad part mechanics now a days are doing the least and want the most.

Always do a fluid check, check the air in your tires including the spare and a complete walk around before any out of town trip. Even if you have had recent service done to your vehicle. It is just a good policy.

That oil change wasn't too bad, but looks like they charged you about double for the rest of the work on the labor side for those jobs

Just do the work yourself.... all that was supposedly needed is pretty easy work, plus you could have contents as well for your channel. These shady slimy mechanics prey on folks who don't take the time to learn and do easy simple maintenance and repair work. Did you make sure they replaced that exhaust manifold with a NEW one? They probably just put a used one on. Sorry, I just hate people taking advantage of others..... but hey, if you're satisfied with the work and how much they charged you then it's all good.
