At first I was worried about returns on iPhone X repairs but not a single return yet. If there is physical damage from bending, it is data recovery only because that is a nightmare and I won’t warranty that. Main shorts and Tigris repairs have been very reliable. The board separation and rejoining only adds about 15 minutes which is sort of offset by how quickly the board can be removed. I’ve done dozens of them now and have only reballed 2. The top lifts off and sits right back down like it was. No need to reball and with the tiny amount of alloy Apple uses, you can’t hardly create a short if you tried. They really are surprisingly easy. I would choose iPhone X main shorts any day over iPhone 7 audio repairs. Hopefully this helps. The split board design looks like it is here to stay for a long while.

Microsoldering not anywhere close :) tired of prior board level repair attempts though. I had a solid 10 in a row last week and I’ve just been pulling the plug on most of them.
@@ststele Those are the worst. I say "No" to a lot of things these days. I've wasted enough time working on stuff that I should never have even started working on.
I’ve reballed a bunch and none have returned for warranty. The main component in success rate for me is the brand of the stencil. G-LON or nothing..like Jason said it’s not that bad. Don’t get discouraged bro you are one of the OGs... and if you need to restore and you get error 10, use 3u tools. Keep pushing forward.

Hello I replaced today the second time iphone x display. The first time after a while the front camera stopped working. Today mounted the second time the display and the front camera works, while the rear one does not work. What can I do? Thanks

Is there a permanent fix for 7+ audio abi ,,,,,,, even after reballing the problem keeps coming back
