That's confirmation that you don't know football.
They were. The stats prove it. Potter had more points at than Pock with the same number of games before he was fired. Mind you, he didn't have preseason or transfer windows to do his thing. Poch had both, and still amassed less points. So how is he wrong?
potter was doing fine chelsea fans just for some reason thought that squad was great for some reason. they dominated games and had no striker so couldnt score
They were. Potter neither got a preseason nor his own signings and had them in the quarter finals of the champions league and better off in the league
They were better under potter, he should have been given more time. Problem is everyone thinks European managers are better than British born managers which is true a lot of the times but not all the time. English managers rarely get the time.

“We’re as insignificant as Blackburn Rovers” but City won the Fa Cup before Chelsea were even created as a football club 🤣 We were yo-yoing up and down the football pyramid for decades and still were more successful i.e. won more top division league titles than Chelsea before both our teams got taken over.
Now in present day, if Rory thinks we’ll do the treble again, by end of the season we’ll have collected more silverware than them in total so by literal definition, we will be a more successful club 😂
And Man City had more league titles than Chelsea before the turn of the century😂😂
Also City are actually older than Chelsea, won trophies waaay before Chelsea, had more trophies than Chelsea pre both takeovers. The only reason that Chelsea are considered a "bigger club" is because they ahd their takeover earlier and people got acustomed to it. Plus there were no real financial regulations in football at the time to limit spending.
Rory just described Chelsea in that sentence. A nothing club before the money came in. Won a couple of cups inthe late 90s and thats about it.
Thank you Joe for being the only one with an objective view. Arsenal are playing well and have a very good chance if the draw is favorable. They use the past of Arsenal as a bad thing but this is a completely different team. Also every team hasn't won it before at some point this obsession with "experience" and "winning it before" is over rated its a new group of players each season. Rory needs to worry about making the conference league before speaking again.

i think rory is honestly such a nostalgia merchant. Poch has been our best manager since tuchel, yes he has questionable tactics at times but with such a young group of players you need to experiment to get the best out of them. Mourinho as much as he's chelseas greatest manager is stale and his style is way out of date. Howe is not a fair comparison as he had nowhere near the expectations/ pressure poch does and ange isn't either since the spurs team he inherited was not in the shambles the chelsea poch inheritied was. Saying our best result was a draw against liverpool is actually mental considering both city games this season. Poch being sacked is a conversation for this time next year not right now. And, if you don't think rory is a nostalgia merchant remember when he tried to put dennis wise in a chelsea all time 11.
The Bayern shout isn't entirely fair from Buvey imo. Bayern aren't worse with Kane, they're just playing like entitled kids. There's barely any heart or effort from people other than Kane.
They play as if they're just going to win regardless. It's why there playing some of the worst football we've seen them play and they're still only a few points behind one of the best seasons in Bundesliga history.

my question is which league produces the most ballon dors? its la liga and to add they win most champions leagues
coming in to manage liverpool now is the best time to come in and manage them in the last 30 years maybe. We have young players throughout the team, In the next 3/4 years we only need to replace alisson, van dijk, robertson and salah so having to sign one player a every summer for the first few years it’s a perfect situation. Obviously the other jobs he’s been linked with are bayern and madrid, bayern could be a good move but unless he wins the UCL it’s just seen as an average thing bayern winning the league then for madrid yes the teams great now but imagine it in 3/4 years, it’ll be better to manage madrid in 4 years time so he may aswell go liverpool now whilst everything’s set up for him then he can go succeed ancelotti or whoever in a few years at madrid
