"Yeah, it love these sugars discs. It's not going anywhere."
*Addendum* : I made a slight error regarding the number of Blackstone Fortresses that Abaddon captured. While it was his _intention_ to capture all six, he only succeeded in capturing about 3-4 of them.
Apologies for the confusion.
Minus the two that he had in the Warp, and the one's that were under Imperial control that he destroyed, weren't the other ones destroyed by mysterious means during the Gothic War?( cough, cough, Necron self destruct button)? leaving him with only two?
Yes, when I stated that "only two would remain intact following the Gothic War." that part was correct. It was the initial part where I said he captured all six that I flubbed on, when, as I said in the above comment, it was his _intention_ to capture all six.
@@40KTheories Sorry, I should have been more specific myself. I was more responding to how many he actually got away with. If I remember correctly, out of the 6, he destroyed one, captured four,( which you were absolutely correct on), but only got away with two. Those two were already in the Warp when the remaining three all Self destructed. I kinda shudder to think what he could have done with four of the things.

Captain-General: "(sighs) Why did we put those in the same building as the Emperor. OK. Don't panic. We must -"
Shadowkeepers: "ROAD TRIP!"
From a vox file archived near the Dark Cells, of the Mad Primarch, Konrad Curze, delivered to the palace by unknown means.
"The Glorious Golden One keeps a bunch of forbidden tech just under His feet. That's Dad, putting the most dangerous crap in the galaxy right down the stairs from where He sleeps. Such a great planner. I always wanted to see what the cogboys would do if you left them in a room with a sample, but only because I always wanted an excuse to rip apart a cogboy for the lolz. Closest though was talking about it with Magnus. Those horns on his chest suddenly got more upright when I brought up the subject. I had to take a step back as I considered killing him. Some things are just too freaky, y'know."

If anyone would survive that long, it would be them.

William Southworth your right . Big E probably just walked up to the O5 and went " ya you guys are good , here have a bunch of even more powerful mobile task force members "
@@sanguiniusonvacation1803 what if the custodes IS alpha-01?
So essentially the Shadowkeepers and the eldritch horror’s that are in the dark cells are a combination of both The SCP Foundation and The Cthulhu Mythos.
It is closer to SCP, as there are many xeno and Dark Age of Technology devices and entities as well.
Yeah if the scp agents where nigh immortal demi gods of war so powerful they give primachs pause yeah sure....
Shy guy escapes... runs into a custodes

Custodes "do you want a f#$king slap"

Would laugh if one of the speciments below the Palace would be Cthulhu himself, or Nyarlathotep.
Both wreaking havoc inside the eye of terror or other planets.
@@dontfearthereaper8675 Some members of the SCP Foundation are in fact nigh immortal and/or have god powers. They have access to magical items and anomalous technology, and they do use it to their benefit quite a bit.
Also a Custodes could kill *some* SCPs, but some are literally indestructible like 687. Some have the power to bend reality on a scale comparable or greater to Chaos Gods and could just write the Custodes out of existence in the timeline. The Foundation also employs some of these reality benders as well.
Their secret mission is to find the perfect oil for their already lubricated abs.
Custodes: We gonna get some Blackstone Fortress salvage! Our skills are unparalleled!
Blood Ravens: Hold our bolters! We're gonna end the Custodes' career.
PoodleScone ha
Bruh, the Blood Ravens already have a stolen set of standard Custodes armor, they'll go nuts for some limited edition black and gold Terminator variants
Was going to comment something to this effect. Although the Blackstone fortress is already locked in their reliquary.
It could be that those pylons on Cadia were not built to push back the warp, but instead to contain something trapped inside the planet itself.
The SCP in the Warhammer 40k Universe.
They found a voicebox that might be compatible with the golden throne
If they did, they would probably immediately hold the cog boys at gunpoint to install that thing safely or die trying
ABOUT FUCKING TIME
The real mission of the Shadowkeepers is secure anything remains of the blackstone fortress before be "reclame" by the Blood Ravens
Impossible the Blood Ravens are able to acquire things that no one else can. And the Golden Bananas will have gifted it to the Chapter.
I just read Auric Gods. The dark cells are an interesting concept, although they never explain how an inanimate artefact "escaped" the Black Vault.
Who says it was inanimate...?
Inanimate doesn't mean much when warp-fuckery is at play.
I like the image of the custodies sneaking a black stone fortress into the imperial palace
The real secret mission is to console Kitten’s broken heart after Shadowsun left him.
The real secret is how they look so good in that armor of theirs ~

Anything too corrupt to use and too strong to destroy.
Question: On a scale of knowing secret shit. Who is higher, A grey knight or Custodes
Good question.
Grey Knights are experts on Daemons and how to fight them. Custodians learn that and _everything else._ Remember, they're the Emperor's bodyguards and aides, so they have to be well-versed in anything that could possibly apply to defending Big E.
@@CharlesUrban but the grey knights were made and oversaw by Malcador, who made the Inquisition
@@CyrodiilCome and as I understand it, there are actually (though admittedly precious few) things the inquisition doesn't know.
I do not believe this applies to the Custodes. Remember, the Grey Knights were just special-er Space Marines (until Primaris happened, at least...), Custodes are literally torn apart and put back together.
The Grey knight chapter was established by Malcador. The Custodes were built by big E.
@@Gundrium The Greyknights were created by Malcador on the orders of the Emp using "his geneseed" and hidden until like a couple thousand years after the beast war. Where they emerged and began their crusade

So...the Shadowkeepers are the SCP Foundation of the 40k universe.

My theory is that down in the dark cells, they are guarding the Emperors immense trap collection
Who needs sleep when there is a new 40K's video up.
I wonder if in one of the Dark Cells there is an artifact that allows travel to other universes.
SCP Foundation in 40k
If they wanted to get the pylons or salvage the Blackstone Fortress, they could've sent the Blood Ravens, since they have a specific skill in "getting" things
Shadowkeepers. The Imperium's own SCP Foundation.
Yay a perfect video right before bed!! Thank you very much Reim
I say they are after a pylon. Take a pylon, repair it and place it next to the Webway portal in the Imperial palace. The Emperor no longer needing to focus on the endless battle with the warp on the other side of the portal is freed to take a more direct hand in the galaxy. Maybe even free enough to be freed from the Golden Throne or reborn?
I was thinking that too. It's certainly worth a shot. They would be wise to assemble it once in the Webway though.
Navigator: I can see it, the beautiful Light of the Emperor. It guides us true . Hold her steady, helmsman.
Custodes: Carries a working Cadian Pylon past the Golden Throne.
Navigator: ASOFINOPKOSUBFUIOASNGKNSJOAIBDIOSNDAHIWUGE
I'm not saying they shouldn't do it, I'm just saying hilarity might ensue.
@@Venneroth I am just not sure if the music they should play should be the Three Stooges or Benny Hill. You know what, Benny Hill.
So this is where they keep all the retconned things. Knowing their reality was and can be overwritten could in fact, be truly maddening.
Their mission is likley threefold: contact Trazyn for assistance recovering some of the missing items, retrieve what they can of the blackstone fortress, study the pylons. I'm not sure if they trust the Grey Knights any more than any other space marine chapter, as they are still "only" space marines and possibly corruptible, but probably the risk of the Inquisition finding out is too great. The fewer people who are in on this, the better. They are studying the pylons themselves as they don't trust the Ad Mech, either, and with good reason.
It would be interesting to see the Shadowkeepers becoming FULLY aware of the Primordial Truth. That level of cognitive or even spiritual dissonance would make for a compelling character drama.
If you ever want to find something that is stolen/lost, ask the Blood Ravens and Trazyn the Infinite. Shadowkeepers need to realize this.
Can you imagine some chaos cultist scavenger running around the eternity only to round a corner and see like 50 golden demigods staring at him?
Oddly reminiscent of a SCP breach.
All just a ruse to cover the fact, that the Custodes locked up all the Squats under the palace.
The Darkcells is just a Grimdark SCP Foundation
Soo couple of years time we get "Space ship Cadia" as they fly the mangled husk of a world back to the home systems? 😆
I just want to see some fiction of the Dark Cells that are less like SCP and more like Orange is the New Black.
Urblat the Unpronounceable: "Hey Screw! The toilet's backing up in here!"
Shadowkeeper: "That's not the toilet, that's your new cellmate."
Urblat: "Then can I get some frebreeze?"
It sounds like the Emperor inducted the SCP foundation into the custodes
Why should you put anything in these cells, when you can just destroy them, which is much more secure, cheep and fits the theme of the empire better?
SCP in the 40k universe, got it.
Really makes me want to play some SCP Custodes
The Shadowkeepers are the SCP Foundation of Imperium.
Shadow keeper are basically the scp for the imperium
"Mobile Task Force: Nine Tailed Fox, has been deployed to Cadia"
A great video as always, Remliez, but I think you may have misspoken a fact. I lost my Battlefleet Gothic rulebook years ago, but as I recall the lore, Abbadon only captured 4 of the Blackstones in the Gothic sector. The other two remained in Imperial hands until the final battle, when the destruction of one of the fortresses led to some type of cascade event that caused 3 of the others (the two in Imperial hands and one other of Abbadon's) to self-distruct, leaving only the Will of Eternity and the one eventually gifted to the Red Corsairs intact.
Ah, yes you would appear to be correct. My mistake.
The Shadowkeepers are the SCP Foundation of the Warhammer 40K universe
The Planet fell before the Guard Did.
MTF Omega Zero "The Shadow Keepers" 😊
So the imperium has an SCP foundation, got it!
So, these guys are basically the SCP Foundation of Warhammer 40k?

Even 40k's SCPs are more intense.
So thats the SCP fountation in Warhammer 40k
One cell contained the mighty GWAR.
Cadia stands!
10 bucks says Cthulhu is down there and The Emperor himself kicked it's ass.
The problem with them go after a the black stone fortress is that Cadia has been under the control of the forces of chaos for sometime.
Thanks!
The custodians will not have to fight anything. The unbroken heros of cadia will fight forever. Alive or otherwise. Cadia stands.
So.... this is what the SCP Foundation became in the year 40k.. and they suffer a massive breach containment...

A very extremely awesome video as always 40k Theories.
Finally a Custodes video
The stated mission was to attain any component of the Blackstone Fortress (BSF), the Wheel of Eternity, if and as possible. However the specific mission, that was not given until the Shadowkeepers and Custodes were on cite was to find the core [computer] of the BSF. The core would contain a full log of its mission to that point, and essentially its "STC", needed to the maintenance and continued operation of the BSF. If someone like "Fabulous Bowel" were to get a hold so such information, the forces of Chaos could render the entire IoM Military pointless. If the IoM gets it, it would be almost as if finding a fully intact Human STC.
SCP’s are stored under the imperial palace
So basically this is the SCP foundation 40k years from now?
Good to know even in the 41st millennium SCP still exist
Mars, the Shadowkeepers have gone to Mars with the curent captain of Custodes.
