You guys should get a large cardboard box and surround it with some bricks at the base then set the box ablaze... in the middle of the asphalt runway for safety reasons, of course. NOW douse the burning box with the water from the Bambi Bucket.
That is WAY HARDER to actually hit something!! The runway is actually fabric, BUT, we have used a BBQ as something to hit. Probably 1 out of 10 attempts actually hit it.
@@JestRR yep. The last bird i built was the d- model huey with the jako turbine. She was a beauty. So is the old website scale rc helis still up and running?
@@nscaledelights yes and No. they are scale but it’s really hard to really use them for actual navigation in flight. It kinda gives a reference but it’s more about looking scale.

Looks like the McMinnville Oregon field. Great place to fly helis. I used to fly 3D helis there a few years back. Great video. Nice scale birds.
