I'd say the Harry Potter series started getting dark was halfway during the 2nd book.
The whole basilisk thing with students and Nearly Headless Nick getting petrified is depending on your perspective and context a better alternative or a fate worse than death.
Then there was Voldemort's diary subplot. Then there was the revelation that Gilderoy Lockhart being a fraud, and his attempt to mindwipe Harry and Ron with Ron's faulty wand when he was found out.

I do recommend Amagi Brilliant Park as well. It’s a slice of life series, where the main character is brought in to revive a dying amusement park, only to realize that all the fantasy mascots and workers are real, and need the park to survive.
The mc is also a Narcissist which is great

Is it just me or is anyone else hearing a whispering voice in the background audio? Amen translates into "it is" or "let it be so" as a finisher to a prayer..these people are so woke they are litterally taking a word from a foreign language used in the finishing of prayers to your maker, and saying " yeah this is sexist let's change this". It has no sexually dimorphic intonation, its a sentence finisher. Come on
