Hi My name is Tiffany I watch your video on a singer industrial machine 211A567AA and I enjoyed it I have a singer 211A967KB I wanted to know are they the same or does one do more than the other I an new to the sewing scene and I was giving this machine. Any help is appreciated.
Very cool take on this. It would have been neat to use the fabric with the eyes as the bag part. Then you could run a piece of rope as a draw string to help keep it closed.
I am lucky to have lot's of scrap leather. I made these from ones I saw 60 yrs ago at my fathers shop. Mine differ in that the top can flap down over the wrenches and to protect them and after it's rolled up a tie strap that's intergrated on the under side will secure the bundle of protected wrenches. Easier to get a wrench and to close up the bundle.
Awesome Homie. All these company’s who says Made In USA or Made in Germany... the packaging most comes from China. Now with tent fabric looks Authentic and timeless. Well Done.
Tee square on fold of fabric! Now where's my Harbor freight coupon. Thank you. One of the first items made were tool rolls. Tools fall out like a overstuffed shopping bag. I see why now. Thanks again.
My son bought me a previously owned Juki DU-1181n for Christmas, and this was one of the first things I made on it from an old painting drop cloth. It made a holy mess of the machine with all the paint that flaked off while working the cloth. Turned into paint powder! Took two hours to clean the machine and change the oil!😱😱😂😂😂 Yep...another learning experience in the books. I enjoy your videos. Found you from Jason of all trades.
How do you store you spools of thread? Also do you ever use thread nets to keep the threads from pooling? Thank you, your videos are amazing and mezmerizing
That's a wrench roll that will last! Not the bs nylon ones that blow out after a year. I'm just not sure if I want my standard and metric wrenches in the same roll though.
Real men sew! And Jimmy was a thief before you stole this. My mother made one of these for my father back in the 50’s on her old White machine...she got the idea from her friend who lived in a farm. My oldest brother now has it and it’s still in good shape. I enjoy your videos even if you’re not that sneaky of a thief. 😂👍
This video gives me other ideas for uses of used canvas or tarp-material to make other tool-organizing rolls, sacks, or units. Thanks for this demonstration for organizing wrenches, once and for all. If your logo comes on a cotton or canvas material, that would be a great way to finish off your projects for commercial sale on the Internet. Maybe each wrench organizer takes too much times to make for you to sell them profitably, but I’m quite sure they’d sell well with your « Alexander Dyer » red & black logo. By the way, what type of material is your logo printed on? I imagine it’s on some type of heavy duty, tear free fabric, but I cannot see what - could you tell me? Putting your unique, clean-looking logo on anything you make to sell or give to people would be an excellent idea, just in case you are not doing this already. Really enjoyed your time lapsed vidéo here. Great job reflecting your unique sense of rugged style. Thank you for another great idea.
Yes, that is a very good idea and I am afraid procrastination has got the best of me in that regard. I am sure they could be purchased but I keep holding out. I have been shopping for 15 needle embroidery machines on the used market. I have been close on a couple but they hold their value very well. I probably should just order some patches.
Good video! I am curious, when you sewed the individual wrench lines, you flipped the material forward and backwards to do a second row. Why not go forward, then run the machine backwards with the material staying in the same orientation?
@@AlexanderDyer Thanks for the reply. I ask because I'm still new at this. On the verge of starting a furniture company and I just got a brother db2-b714-3 and I don't want to make time consuming mistakes. Like my first marriage, but I digress.
That is cool. I'm all self taught so I basically just try the things I think will work or copy the things I think look right to me and repeat. Mistakes are just the cost of going to school. If you want to sew heavy stuff like this tool roll, watch this. ua-cam.com/video/sBavkfataiM/v-deo.html
That is spray adhesive. amzn.to/2QgSan5 It doesn't gum up my needle but perhaps if you did it all day everyday it might be an issue. It dries and sticks to itself and not very strong but just enough to hold till you sew it.
Sorry, Hammock not Cot Hammock - a bed made of canvas or of rope mesh and suspended by cords at the ends, used as garden furniture or on board a ship. Cot - a camp bed, particularly a portable, collapsible one.
I never got past the fact that he took all of the tools out of one perfectly good tool roll just to put them in another. That is some pretentious shit right there.
Thank you for watching my video and be sure and check out Jimmy Diresta's wrench storage roll up if you haven't seen it already.

I like that idea. I wish I had enough to do that. Thanks.
Awesome 👏🏻👍🏼🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻✊🏻🙏🏼
Thank you 😁
Cool project
Thanks. It still brings joy when I use my wrench set.
Nice job, especially liked the close! (Knife and red spot)!
GOLDEN TITLE lol
That canvas tool roll “ideas” could be “stolen” at this late date in history is funny.
I enjoy that. Love the dramatic ending.
Thanks
great job! love the ending.

Functional and rugged I like. Thank you master craftsman.

I agree and I love to use the borrowed patina of previously used materials.
SPRAY ADHESIVE!!! Yes! Been using a stapler, works great, but will give the ol' 3M a shot.

😑
That’s actually something I feel anyone could miss.
jukis are great machines
Table flipped! Awesome.
I really like when you throw the knife (at 06:36) it makes me laugh because I watched Jimmy DiResta's video before.
Thanks.
Great video, AD. The fast motion video reminds me of how fast I perceived my mother could move when she was first teaching me to sew. 👍😊
BAS = Bad Ass Sewing
I NEED to make one of these for my skilsaw and nail guns
Your gonna roll up your skill saw and nail guns?
Metaphorically speaking ;-)
I am a carpenter and something like this would be good for my handplane
Great work as always! Nailed the ending!
"Nailed" the ending, LOL I see what you did there.
I made one for silverware out of a cloth napkin for when I travel so I don't have to use plastic utensils. Thanks for another great video.
Once a man gets a sewing machine, his life is enriched with custom bags, pouches and pockets etc.
Friggin love it!!!
And it even ended with an official looking Jimmy ice pick!
Badass!
Good gosh golly.... taking the cinematics to the next level!I like it.
I like it! You got style! Raw and rugged!
Another great video! I would love to have an industrial Juki!
Thanks! You should totally go for it.
Alexander Dyer, maybe, if I can get the table that goes with it!
Just about pissed myself at the end🤣
The outro. Well done.
Love it mate!!
Thanks!
yes, that's the jimmy. only your product is certainly processed better. a funny and nice video😃🍀❤️
OUTSTANDING!
All you needed was a glass of Bourbon slid across the table. Cool video as usual. Thanks.
💪👊👍
Great bit of canvas you are working with. Heavyweight
An old military cot.
Good.
👍👍between you two .....now I gotta make one for my service truck....
How do you store you spools of thread? Also do you ever use thread nets to keep the threads from pooling? Thank you, your videos are amazing and mezmerizing
I store my thread in tubs or on dedicated thread shelves. I don't have any nets but I like the idea.
man after my own heart......makes things with a sewing machine
ALL the cool guys are doing it! 😆
Thanks for this: Every do it yourselfer would love this. Yes, I'll subscribe and that's not something I do.
I appreciate that.

Cool finish man 😊😊😊

Wicked cool. Great ending!

Magic❗️
Hi Alexander, are you available on other platforms so I could possibly reach out to you for advice plz
Sure, lots of links on my youtube channel home page.
Браво!!!
Thank you.

More than one way to skin a cat I guess. I encourage you to try your idea and let us know how it goes.

🌞
Hey Alex, what size thread and needle did you end up using? And the feet look custom, the stock ones i sell are much wider
The needle is probably a 20 or 21 and the thread is tex 105 poly wrapped poly.
Ya, that was BAS
Why not I was thinking of doing the same
It will be time well spent.
Nice one!!! Hey, what foot are you using ?
a narrow foot set from Kwok Hing, I don't remember the number.
Thanks mate.. I'm thinking one of them will come in handy!! Keep up the video's mate... They are great. Love your style!
what is the spray used at 1:38?
That is spray adhesive. amzn.to/2QgSan5
Bravo
Good repurposing of material . I scavenge the roadsides for straps to repurpose in numerous projects .
Show!
Making sewing cool again.
Sorry, Hammock not Cot
Hammock - a bed made of canvas or of rope mesh and suspended by cords at the ends, used as garden furniture or on board a ship.
Cot - a camp bed, particularly a portable, collapsible one.
Right, right, right. I do that sort of thing all the time. Thank you.
Wait... Was that a Jimmy ice pick?!?
No, I wish. It was kind of a joke about that and not being able to "stick it" like Jimmy Diresta does. 😅
Cool thought so. What part of the states are you in? Were up here in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, washington.
You copied jimmy! Oh, wait, you stated that clearly in the title🤣. Well done
Better
*Aggressive sewing intensifies*
It is like I'm compensating for something. 😳
it's not Diresta's... it's a Sailrite kit. has been for 50 years.
It is a hazard of tongue in cheek comedy that some people just won't get it. Zing!
Nice to see a man who knows how to use a sewing machine. And use it very well!
