Stunning playing. The song is haunting, timeless, mysterious. It feels like it somehow knows about our world from the inside and the outside. Like a long forgotten god or goddess.
Piazzolla's compositions are way underrated outside of the dance community. This is an exceptionally moving interpretation with awe inspiring technique. Would love to see more on your channel.
Gosh, where have you been hiding? Astonishing work. Your insight into mood and intent is remarkable - as is your ability to express that sonically in your playing. In particular, your grip on and presentation of the ‘melody’ is a rare gift. Thank you 🎉
So ... I guess this is one of the coolest things I've ever heard. There are great performances, and then there are those that inspire you to play guitar all day. Thank you for your existence
(1) what @beachbarloui78522 said but also (2) one day I want to be able to perform her arrangement of Prelude in C Minor by Rachmaninoff ... she is one of those players who really does show you something new.
Wow! I'm always stunned by people that can play classical guitar with such depth. Your expression on this piece is incredible. Wonderful to listen to. I can't wait for more.
Better than the performance current on UA-cam by Dyens... IMHO, naturally...That performance was marred by his performing it when not ready for prime time, he hadn't allowed himself sufficient time practicing his difficult arrangement. His exquisite phrasing and passion came through, but it was a little rough and he apologised to audience prior to uncorking it 1st time in public. The performance by Edith Pageaud was quite perfect, quite passionate and the phrasing was nuanced to communicate the romantic dynamics and dreamlike tango (ritardando) pauses of the original with Bandoneon and string orchestra, by Piazolla. Quite moving, loaded with tension and pathos, consummate craftsmanship throughout, Bravo Maestro indeed, and so young...
This is something you can really be proud of. I cannot but agree to all the comments here. This is one of the best interpretations, arrangements and execution of this piece I've heard. Good luck on your journey. You've got a fan! Thanks for this.
Wow... Incredible rendition! I love that you can hear EVERYTHING. Some of the recordings are far too clean and "sanitized" for a piece likes this (in my opinion). I've listened quite a few times and it has slowly but surely become my favourite. Bravo!
Your performance is outstanding. I've listened to it so many times... Perfect! I aim to reach this level some day! But I still have to learn so much. Hearing this performance motivates me to improve more and more. Thank you! Please forgive me the following superficial comment... Your hands are beautiful. The way you move your fingers is very elegant.
Absolutely exquisite performance. I had heard this piece before, but never in a way I understood. You really brought it to life to me and I am sure to listen to this again and again. Warm greetings from the USA!
a great musician that understand what she is playing and can transfer to the audience what she understood. Here there are three well differentiated parts. the melody, the arpeggio and the bass and this marvelous lady gives usa a clear interpretation of all with different touch, presence and intensity. there are all the needed crescendo and diminuendo, and the impression is that she does not need to read the symbols on the pentagram, is that she has understood a the sense of the music lines ans the right dynamics exits spontaneously from her fingers: real technical perfection crowned by a perfect sentiment. It is not easy to find all these in a young guitarist: today it is easy to listen for perfect "digital executions" with a flat volume as required by a listening with air-pods in a metro in the middle of the crowd. thanks for this gift (this opinion is the same also for the Rachmaninoff video, but here, where the arrangement is not yours, everything is more evident).
Edith. Please put out more videos of you playing. You are a gifted and talented guitarist. You’re playing is inspiring me to practice more. Just amazing. God bless you!! 😊🦅👍🎸
Wow, wow, wow! Edith Pageaud is an absolute Master of the classical guitar! Her guitar playing is so wonderful and hypnotizing, it's fantastic! Every note she plays sounds clear and rich, and the sound of her guitar is also outstanding! ❤👌
This is a performance to listen to again and again. The music really sings and the guitarist brings out the soul of Piazzolla's masterpiece.
I am really glad you liked it 🙏🏻 thank you
playing guitar with no 'squitch' is an art. your playing is really appreciated, lady.
Stunning playing. The song is haunting, timeless, mysterious. It feels like it somehow knows about our world from the inside and the outside. Like a long forgotten god or goddess.

Turkiye ... 😊
Tant d'intelligence dans l'interprétation... quelle plaisir !
I don't know who piazzola is but this was an interesting ride. Nothing repeats which is great and you feel the emotion .
This is the only time I've heard someone play this as well as Dyens himself. Your playing is flawless.

Outstanding interpretation of an beautiful arrangement! ❤️
Estoy por afirmar que es la melodía del siglo XX más famosa en el siglo XXI. Con toda justicia, no nos cansamos de oirla en cualquier versión.
Incredibly amazing and beautiful.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful performance.
C'est magnifique, bravo pour cette émotion
What an amazing performance, thank you so much for this.

You have totally captured the spirit of fragility and psychotic mood of this work. Spectacular playing.
Thank you so much @danbarnard, I am deeply touched
