Ava Gardner is stunning and one of my favorite beauty icons from the golden age of Hollywood! I really enjoyed listening to this while I was getting glam myself haha. This makes me want to read up on her autobiography & The Sun Also Rises. Love this in depth series 💅✨

I have just discovered this show and I love it. Thank you for giving all these ladies the love & compassion they deserved all along, especially Ava and Lana & Gene T. What beauties they were, without plastic surgery or fake boobs. The most beautiful women I admire are from that era in Hollywood. Stay with it because we need these role models. Sadly, we don’t have any free m today.
I am crazy about these iconic truly beautiful female stars in your videos. I’ve read books and seen documentaries etc on all of them and you do a great job breaking down and digging in to their lives. And down to earth and natural. You e got a fan here! Keep it coming and thanks. Next, I’m watching Lana Turner ❤!
Ann Sheridan was such a good actress who was never recognized for her talents. She was a very private person so it appears there is little out there to learn if this talented beautiful woman. if you ever do a piece in her I would watch it over and over. She is my favorite from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Your videos are absolutely wonderful about the stars of the past. Thanks for your time and efforts. You come across as a beautiful person in many ways
This is the best series on UA-cam ever!!! Such a creative idea, and the passion you have for old Hollywood just makes these videos so entertaining and captivating! I love learning about a different star each week. Thank you for all your research and time and effort you put into these videos!
Thank you so much Izzy! This comment made my day completely!!! I love making these videos and it brings me so much joy that others enjoy watching them. Thank you for watching and leaving this incredibly kind comment, it is greatly appreciated! ❤️
Hi Ashley, I just wanted to say that I LOOOOVE Beauty Biography and your videos are the only one-hour long videos that I religiously watch. Thank you so much for your effort, time, and storytelling. It's a real pleasure to listen to you.
I read her autobiography randomly one time in high school. Best decision I ever made, I've been charmed by her ever since. She is one fiery woman, and I love it.
Right?! So glad we found a happy one after a few sad ones! Ooooh Ann Margaret would be perfect for a spring episode!!! 😍 the ingenue makeup look is one of my faves!

Hi Maureen! 🥰 thank you so much!!! I can’t even tell you how much that means to hear! I love watching my favorite youtubers while I get ready and it’s just such an honor to be able to keep you company while you do the same!! 🥰
Love this series, Ashley ! Am I an NC transplant and my sister was so excited when we were driving to Wilmington and she saw the sign for the Ava Gardner museum. We’re all old movie fans! I am from Massachusetts - and you’ve already covered my favorite : Bette Davis (Charlotte Vale - Now Voyager....ugh - the best).
Wow! Wow! Wow! This was just so fantastic on so many levels--I can't believe I only just now found your videos. I love Ava Gardner and you just got to the heart of who she was --- and all while creating a fabulous makeup tutorial! BRAVO!!!
I related to Ava more than any other biography. I was born on Christmas Day and my father was a share cropper when he was young. I would hear stories of how hard it was back then.
My thoughts at the end, that Ava could honestly say "I did it my way," which of course, was dear to Frank. Here I live in eastern NC too... and my idea of a good life is spending more time in Europe, we lived in Frankfurt, GE for 3+yrs (1980 the year our son was born, he's now 40 omg!). I grew up all over New England, and that's where my heart is, but the winters! Thanks Ashley for another wonderful Fri experience. I can't wait till your channel has over a million subs!
Hi Yvonne! Yes that is spot on - she did do it her way and how fitting!!! 🥰 That is so cool that you lived in Germany - my husband lived there as a child on a base for a couple years around that same time! 🥰 I’m so glad you are enjoying the series and I appreciate your kind words so much!

He played Max Cady pretty awesomely in Cape Fear, huh???? May I suggest you watch my favorite film of his, Holiday Affair (if you haven’t already), w/ Janet Leigh? It’s such a wonderful film and he’s uber handsome in it!
Thank you Angie! 🥰 omg Robert Mitchum scares me so much lol!
