+Dead. Shot Thank's it is actually my girl Twinkles banshee! She let me ride it for they day since she has basically taken over my Raptor 700 "Bruiser". This blue Banshee has LRD pipes (now known as LED Performance). They are a pretty legendary pipe maker. Banshee is actually running a tad on the rich side and needed a plug change by the end of the day.
The good old Banshee sounds like its got lots of life left, sounding good. Even the old first editon Qracer 250 were a lot of fun to ride,,except for the front shocks....lol! It's been a long time for me now man. I fortunately grew up in the 70's and 80's and got to own and ride these awesome atvs and trikes, and my favorite the enduro and mx dirt bikes. 50 yrs. old now and still riding off road...I have my days still when I can still rip it up pretty good for an older dude..hahaha..have fun,,like the looks of those trails..I'm from the NE.
I love these old machines. had a few enduro/dual sports also. they are all a lot of fun but you can only ride one at a time unfortunately haha. thanks for watching and commenting!
Those little LT250r's are Nice trail quads. Very light and quick for a 250, i have 2 banshees and i just feel like I don't need all that power for certain areas I go riding in, in the dunes I love the banshee, for tight trails I might get a trx250r or Lt250r
TrailBlogger Yes!! I love it! No disrespect I was literally just trying to think of what exactly it sounded like to me! It's bad ass! My buddy used to rebuild ONLY Banshees! He's about to get another one I'll film all I can with this build he does! Hey thanks for uploading, it gave me inspiration to break out our quads!
NovaGreen TheCloneVLOGS screaming panther raindrops soda can is perfect for the blue one. Old school LRD pipes have a pingy sound to them versus the honking trumpets
***** I have a green Banshee and my girl let me ride her blue Banshee for the day since she wanted to ride the Raptor 700. She is the one in the white riding gear with gray helmet on.
love your vids, but question why is that beast so hard to start. As an owner I know it shouldn't require that much effort to start. sorry if sounds bad..
+corey prettyman You are right it had been running rich all day, I had to keep her wound up to keep it from bogging out on me. By the end of the day the right cylinder had pretty much completely fouled the plug. Think we just need to lean it out some more.
I had a buddy who had done it a few times before hold my hand through it but there are some videos out now that will take you through step by step. Checkout Sparkys Garage youtube channel, he has a bunch of banshee teardown and rebuild videos that pretty much take you through it all.
Yeah I TrailBlogger I like sparks from the vids looks easy so I'm going in I guess. An thanks. I'm a big supporter of your vids.. Did you ever put that 4mill in your shee
TrailBlogger I wish we had more trails like your around here. I ride Shotgun a lot up here in Oregon and we have mostly technical trails. The trails wind through the forests mostly but they are fun though.
SORRY TO BUG YOU BUT WHERE DO U RIDE ALL THE TIME. BEND OR OTHER, WE HAVE TRIED TO FIND THE TRAILS YOU RIDE AND WE HAVE NOT FOUND THEM SO WE KEEP RIDE WHERE WE KNOW, LOL KINDA DUMB BUT IS WHAT IT IS.
Ornelox Orne No not FMF, the blue Banshee has LRD exhaust pipes. LRD changed their name to LED Performance Engines ledperformanceengines.com/photo-gallery/
I should have known I lived in Summit city 1n the 70's and 80's no OHV area in those days just all open wild country. Looks a lot different. Thought I saw the old belt line Rd. In your vid. Does the OHV area go down there or all just above Shasta dam. By the Mammoth mine?
@@jimmccandless4307 the OHV area is all across the river on the other side of Keswick reservoir / sac river. you cross over shasta dam to get there or drive out iron mtn road almost to the old mine. I'm not familiar with the old belt line road, only the belt line road that runs from I5 over to Lake Blvd and it never occured to be until now that by "belt line rd" they perhaps meant the old belt line rd that ran alone the old rock conveyor used in the building of the dam. Jim, I highly recommend you checkout Lot 377 on the Library of Congress website. There is a collection of old photos there which were taken in the 40s in the area of Summit City by photographer Russell Lee. Here is a link to the collection www.loc.gov/search/?fa=partof:lot+377
I'd like to see more of the Lt250r quadracer in the vids

A Banshee sounds like a mix between a screaming panther and rain drops on pop cans, don't it? Lol
NovaGreen TheCloneVLOGS if you listening to the green one in my videos with the Toomey T5 pipes it sounds like two pissed off trumpets honking

Is the 700 still having issues after a new starter and a new battery?
I. Hall No this was before the new starter and battery. Been good every since.
Do you have 2 banshees?

Kali fresH Not sure. His LT sounded snappy to me, I'm not sure on the year. I think he actually just sold it and kept his KX dirt bikes instead.
Where do you ride? I live in Massachusetts and can't really find much riding areas
Blake Martin This is in California.

WE RIDE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA NEAR THE TOWN OF REDDING. THE SPOT IS CALLED SHASTA CHAPPIE OHV AREA. YOU DRIVE ACROSS SHASTA DAM TO GET THERE.
What exhaust system do you have on the banshee ???
LRD performance pipes on the blue banshee. they are now known as LED I believe.
TrailBlogger they sounds awesome .

Ornelox Orne Kind of. The blue Banshee belongs to my girl Twinkles!
Your girl bas Banshee ?
