Cameron Jones It's not showing off it's just having fun ;-) I was getting used to the throttle. I don't get to ride the 700 much because my girl Twinkles always wants to ride it. Fuel injection is a little twitchy compared to my other carbed bikes.

+TrailBlogger Nice job, I'm not sure what I'd do if it came to this though. With my luck I'd be on Craigslist looking for something and it would say it runs fine. I'd get there in person and it would run fine for the person selling it. I'd take it home and have to rebuilt the motor or something. And I have about as much mechanical inclination as you have in one fingerprint.

TrailBlogger have you ever ridden a yfz 450 or 400? Is there a big difference between 400cc and 700cc?
dorkus98 I have 3 ATVs: the Raptor 700R the YFZ450 and a Banshee 350. Raptor has a TON of power in both low and top end but is the heaviest of the three. YFZ450 is lighter so it is more nimble and can have better acceleration since it is so light. Banshee 350 is a screaming two stroke, twin cylinder monster that will gladly rev up into the high RPMS range for days. The top end on the Banshee is incredible but being at two stroke it does not like being lugged in the low end.

Hey bro how did you end fixing what your quad would do when you would turn it off and try to turn it back on bc mine does the same thing
I replaced the started and the starter relay only to find out the battery I had just bought was a defective one. I returned the cyclegear battery and got an oversize one from wal mart that barely fits inside the quad.

Sweet bikes lol. I own a 1986 Yamaha Moto-4 and a 1989 Yamaha Blaster. Thinking about getting either a 2014 Yamaha YFZ450 or an '85 Yamaha Tri-Z.
Soulex Swords and Weapons Cant go wrong with YAMAHA. My YFZ was a little stiff at first but then I got some +2 arms up front and longer shocks off a YFZ450R and that improved the ride a lot.
Yeah, I might do that too. I've heard a lot about the new 450's getting a lot more power, longer softer shocks would be better. Thanks for replying!
You guys should hit up a trip to belfair, washington the trails are more difficult and its perfrect riding condition in september october. Me and my dad go up there every year with his raptor 660 and me with my 350

tahuya state park," www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/info/washington_02622/ride_e8b4.htm " there is only dirt trails they change the trails around every year they make the trails so you cant just bust through them its good though because its so gorgeous there. my dad and i are actually going up there this weekend.
keep in mind you want to really watch where you are its easy to get lost in the woods first time we went riding they changed the trails so we got lost and 3 hours later and a little directions from some people we were back in our camp.
That place is Shasta lake it's nice
