    A bloody great truck to deliver what was a fairly small case weighing in at about 1 tonne, a 24 ft flat bed truck with an Hiab and it could have been dropped right onto your trailer. Would have been cheaper to deliver it as well. CKD is alive still, like back in the fifties when most vehicles were exported this way.

  • @ranger6x660
    @ranger6x660 5 років тому

    Congrats guys! I have a 2015 Ranger 800 6x6 and can say a 6x6 is an amazing machine. I'm surprised the dealer let you take it. In my part of the US the dealer has to put it together and test it before you can touch it and they won't order a Defender 6x6 unless you put money down on one. Not enough interest they are saying. Pretty much sucks! Nice video.

      I think the key here is getting is crated. You must save a few thousand bucks on assembly and from the looks that assembly is pretty much all done appart from the wheels and the cage.

    • @hsvkidusa
      @hsvkidusa 5 років тому +5

      @@asapslide8441 actually it's surprisingly similar in price to get it in a crate. Dealer only charges a couple hundred in "prep" and it's actually something a lot of dealers won't allow. By regulation, BRP requires the dealer to assemble it and sell you a rolling unit. Pretty much wheels, handlebars, and maybe racks. If you get a crate, and (let's just say) you don't tighten something correctly, or forget something... And you get injured because of it (like the handlebars come off)... The dealer is fully liable
