Princess Tutu was BLEAK but in the 90s there where a lot of shows that where at least inspired by Magical Girl series that where VERY hardcore and involved a lot of rape and shit like that.
@@Sickcrazyneet dunno if you could consider this a magical girl anime but revolutionary girl utena dealt with issues such as abuse, incest, and even sexual assault. the targeted demographic of the manga started off as shoujo but later switched to josei. on the other hand, the manga for madoka is targeted towards the seinen demographic, although madoka still remains to be a popular magical girl icon towards the general audience.
I doubt that if Madoka came out in the late 80s/early 90s it would be recognisable
Say you go into an alternate 1989 where Madoka had released that year, had you not known that is supposed to be PMMM you wouldn’t recognise it

I imagine that an 80s/90s PMMM would be A COMPLETELY different show(PMMM was sort of a deconstruction, but the tropes it deconstructed just.... *didn't exist yet* outside of maybe one series, that being 1973's Cutie Honey)

I didn't know I needed an 80's version of this beautiful song. But as it turns out, I needed it more than I can ever admit. The massive feeling of nostalgia, something that I should have experienced, maybe in another dimension, is so strong in this song. The feeling of missing something that is long gone but you can't actually pinpoint what it is that you're missing... Wow.

This is one of two animes I've watched and I will never forget how good it was, and yes that beat stop is so damn good. I have gone out of my way to listen to this song specifically for it! lol

Alright. I've done multiple searches for this track, both original mix-downs and remixes.
This simply slaps in the best sense of the term. The slowed-down tempo in order to give it more alliteration is very well done. There are a couple of EQ changes that I would have done, but the end result is very well executed.. In other words, it's not a deal breaker. It still slaps my ass. Keep slapping, mates!
Off topic: I'd like to know what proggies you're running, I run multiples for different outcomes, and I'm sure you do the same.

Also people who listened to it's/his/her theme : Kyubey did nothing wrong!
And ironically both sides are wrong lol, Kyubei isnt evil nor did he do nothing wrong.
Considering Kyubei doesnt even have emotions and instead acts on pure logic alone he litteraly cannot be evil, all of his actions manipulations ommissions etc being dictated by logic to maximise the harvest of energy to save the universe, Evil cannot apply to something which physically cannot be either "evil or good".
Now his methods to reach his goals however are wrong and unfair, sure one planet for the universe is nothing less than cold logic, but since the sacrifice of a random magical girl doesnt exactly push back the end by far (even if the end was already far in the first place) instead of exploiting just one planet for eternity looking for people with madoka's potential, why not instead spread out across the universe and do their stuff everywhere, which would mean a great many more chances of another Madoka style of magical girl to spawn at one point, would push back the death of the universe with far more efficiency and finding someone of Madoka's potential would take far less time than accompanying one specie for its entire history just for harvests.
