- It's 2111, two brothers, Edward and Alphonse from Neo Europe tried to combine their late mother's counciousness with a new unknown synthetic organism. They've failed and the dangerous experience produced an explosion that cost Edward his right arm and left leg and destroyed all of Alphoses body. In a desperate act, Edward managed to attach his brothers mind in an old cyborg body. Their journey to repair their actions begain, while unraveling the dangers of technology. This is Fullmetal Transhumanist.

Also "mental copies of individuals". Philosopher's Core literally uses the mental of individuals, killing them in the process.

It fits too well to not happen.
I mean, it's pretty much already a story about transhumanism. What's Alphonse if not an uploaded consciousness into a robot body? And Edward is a cyborg, whereas Father is an AI gone rogue, trying to achieve super-intelligence status by using the country's people as building stones. The difference is their science is alchemy, so the corresponding concepts are different, involving soul transfer and bonding rather than artificial neurons.

I do see some new memes here and there, it's mostly from proper Insta fanpages or from tumblr. The fandom's kinda niche nowadays I think, and it's sad that FMA doesn't spark quite as much discussion as it used to (I assume it used to be a big thing when it was still ongoing)
I watched all fmab last year and it easily entered my top 10 animes, is such a good story with little bs, I'm quite sad that Edward despises the stones so much to the point he preferred to sacrifice himself but still was quite emotional
I do think Fmab is better than Jojo part 1 but as good as part 1 and 2 combined

If you feel like doing more FMA remixes, I recommend doing the first song from the original FMA. As much as I prefer FMA:B, that first FMA song, "Melissa", is the absolute banger of the series for me, and I think you might like it as well.
