As a Greek i must say that i really admire the Persians despite our fights (Persian invasion of Greece, Alexander the Great campaigns, Byzantine-Persian wars etc).
The Persians formed several Empires in their lands and were always a great force in the Middle East.

I am still fascinated by Cyrus the Great and Darius I. They created social structures that had never been seen before in Western Civilization. It's too bad that more isn't known about these individuals. The rest of the history is pretty much about who conquered whom, and the parade of cultures that crossed back and forth through this nexus between continents. All of which is very interesting, but I am still captivated by Persia's two earliest great rulers. They were truly visionaries as well as great military leaders - even today a rare combination.
‘Achaemenid’ is an imaginary and fake ‘name’ invented by the Shiite Jews who wrongfully now call themselves ‘Iranian’.
Both Ustad Farid Ahmad Alam and also the History Doctors and Professors in Kabul University are confident that ‘Achaemenid’ is an imaginary name invented to mislead and misrepresent the History of this Region.

Dear Mr. Mubtakir,
(1) The reason why we were unaware of our History is because of the lack of Information Culture caused by having no access to sources, especially during the last hundred (100) years.
(2) People who erroneously now call themselves (Iranian), took the best advantage of this vacuum to influence and brainwash the people of our society by the dissemination of their books and publicity that are not in accordance to rules of Publishing and Standardized Publicity.
(3) They didn’t only influence and brainwash our Afghans by widely disseminating forged books, but also did the same to the Dari Speaking People in the whole Region, and even to their own Persian people as if Persia had been powerful since ancient times.
(4) Even our great History Writer who has written books, Ahmad Ali Kohzad, believed as if the counterfeit Cyrus the Great had existed having Afghanistan as one of his Provinces (Satraps).
(5) Now, it is proved and is clearer than the sun that the present {Iran} or {Persia} is the only Country that has no history. That is, their History is the History of the Conquering Tribes who have ruled upon them. Riza Shah was a Qazaq, the Qajaris were Turks, Duranis and Azad Khan were Afghan, Afsharis were Turks, Hotakis were Afghans, Safavis were Turks, Timurids were Uzbek, Moguls were Monguls, Khwarizmi Kings were Turks, Saljuqis were Turks, Ghaznavids were Turk, Samanis were Balkhis, Abbasids were Arab, Amavids were Arab, Sassanids were Ishkanis or the Kurds of today, and finally Slokyans were Europeans.
(6) Going through the dynasties, they ruled over Persia for about 1,500 years that is now erroneously called (Iran). During the whole history, nobody has seen any Persian or a present so-called Iranian to have ruled in Persia or Iran. They haven’t even had any uprising, revolt, or rebellion. It is because of this contempt, despise, and worthlessness that during the last hundred (100) years they have tirelessly been trying to forge books and create the counterfeit Achaemenids Dynasty for themselves to save their face that is absolutely not true.
(7) Your problem with me is on this same point that you now want to allocate, earmark, and attach this Persian or present so-called Iranian false and fake story making to Pashtoons. And finally, the outcome of your efforts will confirm the forgery of the Persians!?
(8) I will be very happy if you would work on your own achievements, glories, and majestic values during the Pashtoon/Scythian Civilization and Culture. In this way, the lies and misrepresentations of the Persians will be strained out automatically, and as the result, the truth will finally come to the open.

حال ثابت واظهرِمن الشمس است که ایران یافارس یگانه کشورِمنطقه است که هیچ تاریخ ندارد، یعنی تاریخ شان تاریخ اقوام فاتحی است که برایشان حکومت کرده اند. رضاشاه/قزاق، قاجاری ها/ترکمن، درانی هاوآزادخانِ/افغان، افشاریه/ترکمن، هوتکی ها/افغان، صفویان/ترک، تیموریان/ازبک، مغل ها/منگول، خوارزم شاهان/ترک، سلجوقیان/ترک، غزنویان/ترک، سامانیان/بلخی، عباسیان/عرب، امویان/عرب، ساسانیان/اشکانیان-یا-کردهای/امروزی، وبلآخره سلوکیان/اروپایی.
این سلسله هاراکه برشمردم، بلاوقفه حدودِسه ونیم هزارسال برایران کنونی حکومت کرده اند، ودرین بین حتی برای یک سال هم کدام ایرانی و فارس نه حکومت کرده اند، ونه کدام قیام وشورشی ازایشان به مشاهده رسیده است. ازروی همین حقارت است که درصد سالِ اخیر، به جعل دست زده اند، ویک دورهءدروغین رابه نامِ "هخامنشیان" برای خودآبروسازی کرده اندکه مطلق دروغ است.

You should add that the first university in the world was established in Persia, in Shapour Kingdom 242 AC. The university called "Gondishapoor" which they teached literature, science, chemistry, art, music, astrology, astronomy, physics, math, and .... in that university, and many people came from around the countries to study there. The source is of the book "University of Gondi Shapur in the Cradle of History" by M. Shahrvini MD.
As an iranian i have to say this was a very good video, sure it had some missing parts but overall it was a great summary of Iran's history, this is basically what we learn in our history class at school. Thank you for making this and showing the world the rich history of Iran.

The Iranian Battery (known as Baghdad Battery where it was found) was used by the Alchemist whom for centuries had been trying to create gold by mixing various metals and chemicals and they were always unsuccessful. They used the Iranian Battery (now displayed at a museum in Berlin Germany). They would insert a metal as core and fill it it with various acids (like lime juice) with copper wires to another piece of metal and they invented Electroplating.
