Some beautiful moments here, and at times a better arrangement than the Pulse version.......but overall, this is not even 90% of the Pulse quality.
If there are only 5 must see performances in the world of music, then 4 of them are from the Pulse concert.

Dave's return to Pompeii. the only person to play twice there since 79 AD ( this one with an audience). his best playing I have ever heard. Dave said that he plays better at certain venues

It is David Gilmour - Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Live At Pompeii) but not with the Pink Floyd band. But it is still great. The final concert of the tour on 29 October 1994 turned out to be the final full-length Pink Floyd performance, and the last time Pink Floyd played live before their one-off 18-minute reunion with Roger Waters at Live 8 on 2 July 2005, which the reunion marked their first concert in 24 years since The Wall Tour (1980- .

As Peter Day says this was a Gilmour but surrounded by brilliant musicians. Song refers to Sid Barret, Floyd’s founder. A brilliant visionary but who took to many drugs and a nervous breakdown.RIP Sid.

This song is about their former band member Syd Barrett who left the band due to mental illness and drug use. 😊

Hi beautiful, thanks for taking my suggestion from your “High Hopes” live reaction. I was really wanting you to do the Pulse Concert version of this (this is a few yrs later after, with David as the only founding member here) with original keyboardist Richard Wright and longtime friend and saxophonist D.Parry. His double sax outro is still there waiting for you to hear that is, anytime you’re ready to return. Love the channel and your honest reactions. Regards

The saxophonist is too young to be Dick Parry and the keyboard player is NOT Richard Wright. lol

@@Rassskle That’s correct. Which is why I suggested she watch and listen to the Pulse Concert from 94, because THIS ISN’T IT.

I'm glad you played this version as to be fair, most reaction shows on YT seem to be from the Pulse tour.(I saw them in Paris as part of it). Loving your reactions .

I like the Pulse live version better, where they return back to the verse after the 3/4 sax part. And this is no longer Pink Floyd, it is David Gilmore and friends. Richard Wright and Nick Mason are missing (and Richard unfortunately, because he is no longer alive.) (And he was really greatly missed in the inferior synth solo in the beginning played by some amateur, as it sounded…)
